I want to give a huge shout out to Carafello's Autos for taking great care of my daughter when she had car trouble last month. She was told by a local tire shop (after they installed new tires that rubbed on the wheel wells) that she likely had problems with her suspension system. I had seen several amazing reviews for Carafello's Auto taking great care of the Navy community, so we called them and made an appointment for their mechanic to check out the suspension. We took the car over to their dealership on Virginia Beach Blvd and were promptly assisted by Ryan and Chad Carafello and their head mechanic Eddy. They examined the car and the suspension system and determined the tires were the problem, not the suspension. They even offered to help us contact the tire shop to get them to replace the tires that were improperly sized. These guys were amazing - so friendly, helpful, concerned, and HONEST! If you need help with your car or are in the market for a new car, I wholeheartedly recommend contacting Carafello's Autos. when i bought my car the engine was completely shot and so was the motor. he said "oh it was probably just from the rain and come have it checked out" and i spent 1.5 thousand at their shop and i still had problems and it didn't fix anything. also when i bought the car it didn't have any inspection stickers or anything. extremely shady place and do NOT reccomend. My son had purchased a vehicle from Ryan with in the past year and Ryan said if you ever need anything to call. Today was that day. I've never encountered a group of more slimy and selfish people in my entire life. From the beginning I've been charged and charged for things that I don't need or for a promise of something they never provide. Every time I had an issue with the car that I purchased I was stuck waiting on them to diagnose and fix it with their mechanic in the back. I brought the vehicle in 3 times in the 4 months that I had it. I asked them to fix a power steering leak only for them to tighten the hose and have it stop leaking for a couple days, they didn't even replace the rack and pinion like they said they would. The one time I came in and they said they would replace my serpentine belt, to save them time and money the mechanic didn't replace the belt he had sitting there, he tightened mine and said it was okay and to just keep it until it breaks. Recently the motor blew (or so they said) I called asking how much it would be and they told me the starting price was roughly 7500. I told them no and that I didn't have money for that and said I would be taking it somewhere else only for them to tell me id have to pay 45 dollars a day for storage pretty soon. If you take the time to read this review please DO NOT purchase a vehicle from them. It will save you time, money and a lot of headaches. They prey on military members who don't know any better and I wish I knew how much money they've really made off of us. I will never be doing business with them again and I hope I can keep people away from here. They provide a false sense of security by calling everyone who comes in family. They'll use that to their advantage as they gouge the price on whatever they want. Like I said PLEASE stay far away from here if you're looking to buy a vehicle. I never write reviews let alone negative ones but I felt this one needed to be posted. (The only "work" I ever did on the car was swapping out the tires and filling the power steering reservoir when it leaked until it was empty in a 12 hour time span) read more

It's Monday November 30th 2020 and the Carafello's Auto Sales business has created a miracle. For the past 2 month my N54 BMW has been leaking all my coolant every other day twice a day. In the span of 2 months I've taken my BMW to 3 mechanics including a BMW mechanic, replaced the oil filter housing gasket, oil cooler housing gasket, waterpump, thermostat, radiator x4, coolant reservoir cap, coolant reservoir bleed screw, upper radiator hose, coolant hose flange, transmission cooler hose and upper waterpump hose and through each mechanic and each part replacement my car still left me with nice lakes of coolant. But that changed once I went to Carafello's Auto Sales. I was greated by Mrs.Sandra upon my arrival and already felt at home at a place is wasn't too familiar with. The shear customer service, hospitality and knowledge Mrs.Sandra and BMW mechanic Mr.Eddie had was all I needed to know my car and I were going to be well taken care of. While my N54 was being worked on in the back facility, I was given bottles of nice cold water and walked around the lot and saw all the immaculate cars they had for sale, the employee jeep JKL on 40's, the twin turbo BMW M5 and 335i they had out front and the clean tastefully designed waiting area Carafello's Auto Sales had present. I was accompanied by Mr.Ozer, a very welcoming gentleman who also had a passion for his job. Ozer graciously toured me around the different fleet of badass automotives they had for sale and also engaged in delightful conversation about cars. I also had the pleasure of meeting the the owner of Carafello Auto Sales, Mr.Carafello himself, a kind, poised and motivating entrepreneur I couldn't have been happier to meet. After about an hour of my car being worked on, Mrs.Sandra invited me to the back facility and showed me where my coolant leak was coming from... the f'ing radiator drain plug. I can't believe this bs. All this cause of a dam drain plug. Mr.Eddie was able to diagnose and repair my N54 in under an hour and had me on my way back home that same night. All I can say is, the next automotive issue I have, Carafello's Auto Sales is my first call. read more
