This is a fake terrible dealership and id bet $1,000 that almost all or at least most of these reviews are fake, cuz me and my husband purchased a 2017 Hyundai elantra 6 months ago and they said they would send our hard front anx rear plates in the mail and the sticker shortly after we left them, we'll now 6 months later..and they no longer answer our calls or texts, and I just googled them and it said they are permanently closed, its a scam auto shop, and onto of it all..the car has nonstop steadily falling apart Lil by little one problem after another, its ridiculous, we're gonna find yall..and we WILL be sueing . read more

This is our third vehicle we purchased from Orange Auto. The sales folks are very low-pressure, personable and helpful. Every vehicle we have purchased has been very reliable. One had an mechanical issue, but the extended warranty that Orange Auto provided for free covered the issue with no problems. On top of that, the prices are great! Highly recommend! read more

Randy was very helpful and a great experience.... Thanks for your business!!! Recommend 100% car was in excellent condition, drove over 1,400 miles to MN without any issue. read more

Orange Auto - 2017 Rav4 - Used Car Dealers Near Me - Virginia Beach, Virginia

I have never sold a used vehicle before and the staff at Orange Auto made sure the experience was comfortable. We were interested in the 2014 Nissan Frontier Pro which was a huge upgrade from my Nissan Frontier SV, we checked it out and it was incredible, so glad I test drove it before I left had me excited to buy and the paperwork was fast and efficient. Soon enough found myself buying a really nice used truck and came back the next day to pick it up and then sold my current truck. They made it easy to buy and sell, really glad I came to them instead of dealing with a major dealership! Thank you from The Bennett Family. read more

I would not recommend. I have to contact the MVDB. Mr. Randy sold my daughter a 2006 Gold Lexus with the oil leak missing headlight and the plethora of other problems talked about Jesus and the church to make it seem better. read more

Sharri and Kelly are awesome. We were looking for a car for my wife. One thing that stood out was the education of the process of buying a car from start to finish. That was very important to us. We want a relationship with the person we want to buy from not just a transaction. We felt very comfortable with each of them. No sales pitches. I highly recommend them for a simple, smooth, relational, educated process of buying a used car. Come check them out and let them know that the Tanyags sent you. We bought a 2014 Subura Forrester. We love it. They are 5.0 Stars!!!! read more

I had a great experience here! They were friendly and knowledgeable and any concerns I had about the Toyota RAV4 I purchased were addressed and taken care of. I will be returning for all my future vehicle purchasing needs. read more

Everybody that works here is so incredibly nice and genuine! They were even so understanding and patient with my toddler and helped keep him entertained through the whole process. We recently had a bad experience with a different small used car lot so I was VERY hesitant to try another one, but I am SO GLAD we did! Fair prices & very friendly staff! read more

I can't say how stoked I am to be the owner of the 2008 Chevy Avalanche LTZ that I purchased from Orange Auto!!! I came across this awesome place on Monday the 2nd of April 2018 while actually going to look at another Avalanche on a different lot. The Orange color of the building caught my eye, as well as the color of the truck (white) against the building itself. After test driving the truck on Monday, I had my wife look at it on Tuesday and she gave me the blessing to buy. The manager Kelly went above and beyond to answer any and all questions/concerns that I asked of him and at no time during the process did he pressure me or my wife! If you are looking for great friendly top-notch customer service...go check them out, as I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for an awesome car buying experience!!! read more

We bought our daughter's first car from Orange Auto after checking out vehicles at many other very disappointing car lots. The whole experience was great and I highly recommend this business. read more

I bought my first car here, an awesome Jeep Wrangler. They worked with me because at the time I could only go see the vehicle on the weekend when I had a pass to get off base. This made seeing the vehicle, getting my husband and brother to go over the vehicle, test drive, and get purchasing done take a few weeks. They held the vehicle for me despite interest from other people. The process to purchase was smooth, quick, and very easy. And I absolutely love my Jeep! Great dealer, great people! read more

I looked at car here. The people were very helpful. Very easy to work with and no hard sales at all. I didn't buy here but will definitely come back to consider one of their cars in the future. Highly recommend. read more

I absolutely loved my experience with Orange Auto. They are not like other auto places as they do not hound you to buy a car. When i came in it was like i was family. It was casual conversation, we talked about the art, and we sat and chatted about family way before we talked about the vehicle. I came in prepared to purchase. They let me test drive it a few times, we went over everything about the car and i left with a great vehicle and a great experience. I definitely recommend. Hopefully they are around when my son needs his first car. I will be back. read more

Very nice business and nice people just bought a Chevy Colorado, worked with me on the price, no complaints.

Me and my wife were planning a whole day of shopping for a minivan or SUV for our expanding family. Thankfully, Orange Auto turned that into 2-3 hours with a Chrysler Town and Country that we fell in love with. It was clean, ready to roll and super affordable! Since I am military, they worked with us to give us a good price on the car and an affordable warranty. They were awesome enough to show us the service receipts for the vehicle and even give us recommendations on mechanics. If you are military, or just need a decent used car, I highly suggest giving them a visit! read more

Great people to work with. No pressure. Financing was simple and easy too. Highly recommend them!

Highly recommend Orange Auto. Customer service was spot on. No games, no typical car salesman games. I worked with Mr. Wright and he was genuine, personable, and to the point with no games. I was in and out of there quickly and didn't have to spend the entire day sealing the deal. I have recommended to all my family and friend Orange Auto for their selection of lot and for their exceptional professionalism and customer service. I was happy to spend my money at this place. read more

This place is great! Sherri and Kelly were awesome, easy to work with and never any pressure to buy. They even gave me suggestions on where I could go to get a better sale on my truck. Their inventory is great and constantly getting in new stuff all the time. I bought my truck from them and there wasn't any hassle the upfront price they gave me, nobody could match or find any where else. Thank you guys! I'll be coming back for sure! read more

Love this place, everyone is friendly, no high pressure games or BS. I found what I wanted at a great price. They had several trucks to look at and all of them were very clean. The financing was done in a day and I was in the dealership less then an hour to get all the paperwork done. My tags were mailed to my house so I didn't even have to make a special trip to get them. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone. read more

Very disappointed with them ! We worked with Chris on the financing we were approved. spoke with him late afternoon Wednesday told him Friday morning we were coming from Charleston ,SC. No problem. Got a call Thursday morning from the owner we sold the truck!! Not good business if you ask me. Her reason was no deposit. I ask if they need anything more from me when we spoke the answer was see you Friday. VERY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS !!! Just a phone call and we could have given a deposit to hold it if that was the case.. . read more

I've had the most amazing car buying experience ever right here at Orange Auto. I've shopped around for a used Chevy SUV for a couple of months. Most of the vehicles were in poor condition, had high miles, odometer issues, rust, oil leaks etc. Finally, I met Sharri, the owner of Orange Auto. I like the Chevy Suburban and just so happens that she had a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban. After looking the vehicle over it looked good to me but I am not a mechanic so I wanted my mechanics at Ace Auto to check it out. Sharri said sure to an inspection and offered to have one of her guys dropped it off there and pick it up the next day. Rodney at Ace said that the car was in good condition so I decided to purchased it. I called Sharri and met with her right before closing hours. At no point did I ever feel pressured, concerned or uncomfortable. This experience was quite the opposite, I trusted her completely and had no worries. To further exceed my expectations, after telling Sharri that I have to work late the next day (Friday) and may have to pickup the truck on Saturday she offered to have someone deliver it to my house. Who else does that? My wife and I left feeling truly blessed to have met her and like we just made a friend. Thanks Sharri! read more

When i came here they didnt pressure me they let me test drive everything i wanted to with out going through hours of paperwork. They gave me way more than my trade in was worth and the truck i bought is in beautiful shape. Very kind service and were extremely helpful. Would buy from here again read more

This has definitely been an experience that I would not want to repeat and one that I would not wish on anyone. I have had issue after issue since DAY 1!!! Although Sharri was polite about everything, it was a waste of my time. gas and more importantly money on tolls going back and forth from Portsmouth only to continue to end up with the same results! More money that will have to come out of my pocket. I suggest that anyone looking to get anything from this dealership to rethink their decision and go to a place with service and repair on site that can properly inspect these lemons prior to them being sold. I STILL have an issue that they had my vehicle for 7 days for and did not even replace the gas that was used and gave me a loaner with the gas light on!!!!! I honestly do not think they did what the work that they said they did...definitely a lesson learned...the HARD WAY read more

I honestly thought I was going to get to write a rave review for this dealership...but am glad I waited until we received our documents. Our inital experience was good...Sharri was polite and not pushy; when a couple of things were found to be in need of repair, she got them taken care of that day (we live 2 hours away). However, I would not advise anyone from NC to buy from this dealership. I can't speak for someone from VA. Every time my husband or I have previously purchased vehicles from dealers, all expenses related to tax, title, and registration were paid in the purchase process. My husband even asked Sharri to confirm that he would not be getting a property tax bill immediately after purchasing this truck. She told him that would not happen. This week, we received our Temporary Registration & Temporary license plate. Why? The property taxes were not paid. When we called Orange Auto, they told us that they don't cover that because it is a 6-month bill in NC (it's not...it's annual, paid at the same time as registration, which cannot be completed without this payment). We have NEVER had this happen with another dealer in NC or VA and it was the reason we wanted to purchase through a dealer, rather than an individual. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. They had appeared to be professional, polite, and concerned about their reputation when we made our purchase, but lied to us while trying to make the sale. If Sharri simply told us directly that they didn't pay property taxes--especially when my husband asked specifically, we could have made a decision about whether we still wanted to make the purchase. The dishonesty is disturbing. I honestly wish we could just return the vehicle and buy from someone else now. Oh, and additionally, the check engine light came on during the 2 hour drive home...we already have another repair to make. read more
