I used this shop a year ago and decided to use them again. This time I needed the engine mounts…read morereplaced. I arrived at the shop as soon as they opened and dropped off my vehicle. I was told I would receive a phone call when the work was done, but about an hour before they closed, I had not heard from them so I called. I was told the vehicle was ready for pickup and got there right away. The following day I looked over my vehicle and noticed that there was grease coming from the driver side front axle and it had leaked all over the suspension, steering, and wheel. The grease was leaking past the inner cv joint boot clamp which I believed was due to them during the removal/install of the axle. I told the owner of the shop the problem I was having, and he said "that's strange since they didn't remove the axles but used a jig to lift the engine" but he said he would look at the problem. He stated that the boot had slipped and they had to reposition it and re-band. I also had the brake booster replaced during this visit. Once I arrived home, I looked over the vehicle and noticed that the front axle had some fluid on it and opened the hood and saw that the master cylinder was overfilled and leaked brake fluid below it. I also noticed that there was a plastic cover lodged below the master cylinder and I tried to remove it but it was stuck. I then opened the driver's door and noticed that the footwell light wasn't on. In addition, the air ducting in the foot well was loose and not connected. I removed the panel to gain access to it and found the footwell light wiring was not connected and repositioned the ducting and connected them both. I also noticed that there was a screw underneath the floor mat and was wondering where that mounts and after a short inspection of the area I found where it needed to go. I looked under the vehicle and noticed all four brake bleeder screw dust covers were not reconnected. I noticed that the driver side front axle looked old and determined that the axle must have been replaced due to the inspection paint marks made at the factory did not match the color of the other areas on the vehicle. Also, if the axle boot was readjusted and re-banded like the owner stated, then why were there old clamps on the axle boots? Additionally, the plenum cover at the base of the windshield had about 2 feet of the mounting tab broken that the gasket is fitted to. I found broken plastic pieces on the splash shield underneath the vehicle. The work accomplished by this shop was very sloppy and careless. I would avoid this shop at all costs. I highly suggest that you find another repair shop to go to or pay the high fee at the dealership to have your vehicle repaired.

Brought my car in because I could see oil around the valve cover gasket. Asked them to look it over…read moreand verify. They charged me $30 to look at t and provided an a free vehicle look over on other things. They let me know that it was indeed leaking and found an additional leak. They sent me a quote and I was flabbergasted at the price. The first original leak repair was quoted for $2,700. They did find another leak that would cost me an additional $1500 to repair . Way more than I was planning. I talked to a gearhead at my work and he said absolutely do not pay that. He said they do this to women, unfortunately. I talked to two other local shops who quoted me for everything on the original repair for $800 and $1100. Those quotes were for everything 17th Street was going to do for $2,700. I hate that companies do this. The icing on the cake was that when I drove my car home, I popped the hood and they didn't even attach the cover to the motor. It was just laying cockeyed on the top. It makes me question what else they didn't reinstall after looking over my car.

When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this shop…read more Our vehicle was left here for diagnostics, and what followed was months of confusion, poor communication, and ultimately an outrageous and unfair "lot fee" of thousands of dollars, yes thousands! The shop claimed the vehicle sat for a certain amount of time, but the dates they used were inconsistent and did not match what actually happened. Even during conversations, staff admitted there were missing notes and unclear records, yet they still attempted to charge storage fees based on those questionable dates. To make matters worse, there were serious internal office issues while our vehicle was there. The front desk employee handling our file quit mid-diagnostic, and a new person took over with little to no understanding of our situation. As a result, paperwork was never sent, invoices were delayed, and we were never clearly notified that the vehicle was ready to be picked up or that storage fees were accumulating. This experience felt unprofessional, disorganized, and unfair. We were willing to pay for diagnostics and remove the vehicle promptly once proper documentation was provided but instead, we were put in a position to pay for their office failures. If you value transparency, accurate record-keeping, and clear communication, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
