Scheduled my car to have new tires installed and an oil change. Dropped my car off at 7 AM sharp. Got a call at 3 PM letting me know that my dipstick handle was broken. On my way to get the car at 3:15 I get another call asking if I wanted an alignment, really? You can see the look of the brand new tires in the image. We brought the car in for diagnosis and they "tried" to diagnose or fix the problem. They did not fix the problem. They wanted to charge us 7 times more than the diagnosis fee originally, despite NOT fixing the problem. They kept the car for 3 solid days plus the greater part of a fourth. I took over communications with the shop for another family member who I felt they were taking advantage of. Most times when I would call I would end up talking to a different staff member, and sometimes get conflicting information. I felt like I was taking on a second job dealing with this place. I needed a state inspection and this place is near me so I took it there. It had a crack in the windshield about 5 inches long so I knew I'd not pass but time was running out. First, I'd been there the year before for a state inspection and I walked in, there was NO ONE in the waiting room. So the attendant spots me through the window, where he's sitting doing nothing but reading something. We both knew he saw me, so a few seconds later I tapped the window, like - what's the holdup? He taps back in an arrogant manner, and finally summons the energy to come and speak with me, as if I'm intruding on his private time. I explain I need an inspection. I also asked to please disconnect the battery - takes 2 seconds to pull up on the connector with minimal force, as I have a passive leak somewhere in the electrical system and I hardly ever drive the car, so my standard practice is to unhook the cable and leave it unhooked unless I'm driving. He said he understood, but when I went to pick it up the next day the battery is connected tightly - exactly what I asked them NOT to do. So this year, I call ahead, and I ask "How long have you been working there?" and it turns out it's his first weekend. I'm overjoyed because the guy from last year is probably fired or gone by now and I won't have to deal with him! So I drop by to explain the situation, but I get the same guy as last year - ugh. I ask for a tune up and change the fluids, etc, expecting standard maintenance you'd do on any car annually (I'm not a mechanic. I'm not versed in car maintenance.) He doesn't give me any confidence with his reply "Change the oil? Do the tires need rotating?". You know, stuff you'd expect a mechanic to know to do and check for. I throw in "Also, please re-charge my AC", and he says he can't do that as it's "illegal" to acquire the gas necessary, when meanwhile there's a sign on the wall about AC service. WTF??? I explain I'll drop the car off after closing, I write a long note about LEAVE THE BATTERY DISCONNECTED since they messed that up last year, and I can leave it the whole day and I'll pick it up after closing. I picked it up that night and I'll be - they disconnected the battery. That was my big win. Couple days later I get the windshield replaced and drive in about 8:30 am, expecting them to simply slap the new sticker on and I'm out of there. A 30 second job at most. But no. Gotta wait about 45 minutes cause they take appts as they come in. I have to wait 45 minutes just to get a sticker affixed?? Again, WTF is this?? Means another inconvenient arrangement as I have to leave to get to work. Stay away. They will give you a headache or two, that's for sure. I even pull into another car service place and ask if they can charge my AC. Sure!! So Autozone does it free of charge as I had purchased the "illegal gas" there. Next year I'm going to the dealer. They might cost more, but they get it done on time and no riff-raff involved. read more

WOW, so let me tell you... These people are incompetent. A BASIC OIL change can't even be completed. Instead of draining the oil and replacing it, they poured more on top and my engine ended up being overloaded, in which lead to white smoke pouring out of the vehicle. They couldn't even find my cabin air filter, which is in PLAIN VIEW. I'm not the smartest when it comes to cars, but they really really have no CLUE how to do even the most basic thing. Idiots. UPDATE* took the car back to get it fix and they sprayed a chemical all over my battery which broke off a piece of my terminal, so guess who was left stranded? Came in recently for a state inspection because I am trying to register my car from out of state. They failed my car, but that's not what I'm complaining about. When the service rep called to tell me my car failed, she said it would cost almost $800 to fix. I said I would think about it. I drove down there 30 min later and said I just want to take it home, and she got all huffy and said I should have called first. How does that make sense? Then she had the audacity to print a list of "recommended fixes" totaling $2500. What a joke. I ended up buying the parts at Pep Boys and having BNR Tires (a few blocks away) install them and an additional part for way less than the $800 quoted. I took it back for the reinspect and they did pass it. Overall, not a good experience as I think they tried to rip me off. read more

Okay so I came in to get my car inspected, but I needed to have my tires replaced And because I just bought new wheels, I needed them mounted onto the tires and installed on the car. You have no idea the headache I was put through that day. But the staff at Firestone really pulled through, and went above and beyond all expectations. So all the tires were removed from the car and the new wheels/tires were to be installed. but something was wrong with the wheel, it was like wobbly or something. I had to buy a part to make sure that it was snug on the car. They drove me to a shop near by to buy the part, like come on- who does that! So awesome. so the part was bought and my new wheels and tires were installed with no problem They were very nice, friendly, eager to help and answer questions. the typical wait time is usually bad but if you get there early enough you're in and out. Being from out of town I checked Yelp for reviews before choosing a place to get my car serviced. (Emergency muffler problem.) There was a Firestone center closer to were I was staying, but I chose to drive a few more miles based on the two reviews posted for this location and the one negative review posted on the one closer to the camp site. I called first and Carl (the manager) told me to stop by and they would look at the problem and that hopefully we could get it fixed the same day. The place was really busy with locals and tourists needing attention, yet they got my car in quickly and assessed the problem. Carl explained the situation and showed me exactly what was wrong (and what was still right) with the exhaust system and what my options were. He arranged for a ride back and forth to the camp grounds so I did not have to wait there all day. The driver was really friendly. I was happy with the service, the price quoted and the general experience. Carl offered tips on places to visit while we're down here and shared a few "locals only" spots that we should visit, If I were local, Carl and the crew at the Firestone center would be my "Go-to guys". so if you're from out of town and need service come see Carl and his crew. If you're local, make them your spot for car maintenance. read more

At 5:00, I called to check the status and was told they didn't have time to do it yet but it should be done by 6 (when they close). Whole day was shot waiting around. Had to come here to get a shuttle Van an oil change. The staff here is really friendly. The waiting area can use an update. Chairs weren't the most comfortable and the 13 inch tube TV wasn't the most appealing to watch infomercials. And I'm sure if they had more staff/mechanics, I wouldn't have waited an hour for an oil change especially since I was the first one there in the morning. read more

Great service! Lindsey and the manager Carl are very pleasant and professional. My car was serviced here and was done in a timely manner. I was told that I needed brake fluid, which was exactly what I needed the last time i had my car serviced but did not get that service done at the time. They are honest and they don't try to up sell services u don't need. I also was offered a few coupons for some of my services that I wanted to have done. My wife took our car here to have four new tires put on. The day after we bought the tires, the "check engine" light in the car came on. It's been four years since we had any issue with the car and it's a coincidence that a day after we had it in their store, the "check engine" light comes on. I got a full set of tires here and less than 10 days later my whole car started shaking and making a loud rumbling noise while driving. I was going through the HRBT and had to pull to the side to check out what was going on. Almost every single nut on all 4 tires was loose to the point that I could turn them with my fingers and I was missing a lugnut. When I came in and told them I was told "I'm sorry that doesn't sound like the mechanic at all, he's a perfectionist". While they were rechecking the tires the mechanic came in and told me the missing lugnut was actually missing before my original tire change and was noted in my file. This was news to me bc no one told me and it wasn't on my original invoice. They clearly don't care about the safety of their customers and I'm lucky I had the good sense to pull over when I did, this could have ended up with me crashing and they just acted like it wasn't a big issue. Not pleased with service at all. I went in for an oil change and the job was done but it wasnt until later that I found out that they over tightened and cross threaded the plug and didn't take any responsibility. They wanted to charge me over $350 to repair the mistake they made. I felt that I was being taken advantage of and the technicians weren't honest. I brought my car here to have some heavy repairs done, mostly to have the motor mounts replaced. Got a couple of calls during the repairs. First was to say they found a broken hose on the rear side of the engine, and the second was to tell me I had an overheating problem. Before dropping my car off I had no issues with running the engine. After 8 days of driving my car, it overheated on the way to work where I checked the coolant. The reservoir was bone dry, and once I was able to get more coolant the damn thing took about a quarter to a third of the jug before it was filled. The staff is courteous and helpful in informing you of you cars needs without the normal pressure for you to buy services. They just educate you and let you make the buying decision. I would definetely not recommend going here.They do not stand behind there work and once they make a mistake you are spoken to like you are the problem instead of making it right.Ive took two tires to be repaired there and both continued to leak.Ive had my tires rotated there and the vehicle test drove to diagnose a problem.Well the " skilled mechanic " said everything was fine and sent me on my way.After i entered the highway my vehicle was violently shaking at 55mph,so bad i couldn't control the car.This was after it was test drove and i got a smile and a hand shake and sent on my way.I also got an alignment there and nothing was adjusted ,my concerns were ignored,I was yelled at and talked down to when i proved my point that they made the mistake and it needs to be fixed.I've been building cars for 15 years so I know what im talking about,but they don't expect to be hit with knowledge from a customer.There right and they will do everything to show that.Well my vehicle is still messed up thanx to them and even though the work is under warranty there is no way i will go back there for them to do the same shotty work over and over. read more
