Finally, I paid for my car wash and proceeded forward. The attendant guided me onto the rails. He looked insure. Then he told me to reverse-then forward- then neutral. While I am on the rails my steering wheel is just going back and forth. When I get out to vaccum I see my liscence plate holder is cracked and my license is bent. I look at the car beside me and his is too. Beware, the rails may tear up your license plate.

Good sales tactics. Lol. I didn't have a problem with the service. This rating is only for the quality of carwash I received. The vacuum's suction was low also, so some of the dirt on my rugs wouldn't get sucked up. My carwash experience was bad. I won't be going back.

RipTide has been in business In Hampton for more than a year now. They provide a variety of wash packages, spacious detailing area, detailing supplies and a car mat cleaning machine. The place says busy, and I believe that is a result of the declining service. So I pulled to the self-service pay machine. First thing I notice is the bright display with the many packages. I found my wash package, and it gave me the option to sign up for unlimited wash packages at $39.99 a month OUCH! I purchased the $20 wash package with the $10 discounted package for next time. Not a bad deal. I proceeded to the wash tunnel, the tech was not there but immediately came out. He did a "subpar" pre wash, just sprayed some water on the car, half brushed the heavy soiled areas in the front and that was it. The car went through the wash but I notice that the polishing ball didn't come down, maybe it was broke. To the detail station, I went to the car mat cleaning machine. It worked, but only in one mode because the switch was broke. The tech told me that I would have to dry the now wet mats with the vacuum. Speaking of the vacuum, multiply ones where not functioning. As I stood there and looking around the place, I notice that it had declined over the past year. Things were broke and not working, but my car looked great.
