Unfortunately, I was told pricing was not flexible and that gift cards could only be purchased in $10 increments. Because of that limitation, I chose to leave without completing the purchase. I'm not a fan of taking my car to car washes. I'm the kind of person who likes to wash and had detail my own vehicle because I know it will be done right. I went against my better judgement and pulled in for a full inside/outside cleaning because my car was embarrassingly filthy. I was blown away at how good of a job this place did on my baby. Conviently located off I-64 in Hampton, is great for cars using the interstate who would like to have their vehicle washed on the way from work or weekend fun. They have a variety of different exterior and interior services to get your car nice and clean. Once the vehicle is washed and dried, it is personally detailed. They clean the inside and out, shine the tires, clean the windows and vacuum the carpet. You can get a complete package for $23.99. Pretty good deal for a wash this good for that price. There is also other add-ons like fragrance. armor-all interior and waxing. One complaint I heard from some customers while there is " I just paid $30 for this wash, I want every speck of this car spotless." ThenI looked at the car prior to coming in the wash and these people have some of the most discusting cars in the first place. If you consistently keep your car dirty for long periods of time where dirt is just piling up on to of dirt, then don't expect the best interior cleaning in the world. I'm very unhappy with how my car came out I got the "special " for the day she said it was inside and outside basically the works, it was $40 and all they did was made my rims look good. My seats cup holders, floor mats, back side windows, and trunk wasn't wiped down nor was it properly vacuumed. I did ask them to clean out the area between the windshield and hood but Yes I should've said more then but I had to leave right after and didn't notice everything else till later. I needed a car wash pretty badly so I went here. I'm not sure if it was an off day or what, but hands down the worst car wash I've ever had to pay for. I'm leaving 2 stars because the machine washed the exterior of my car decently, but the interior was barely wiped down or vacuumed and I got the "Manger's Special" for $40 and the deluxe treatment. Car wash is mediocre. Most of the workers really don't care and tend to do a half ass job. Paid $40 for inside and out and car still had visible dirt on floor mats and center console. I went though the Hampton location and I was load up and paid good money to not get what I need done but the reason for this post is that I was riding behind a car with an antenna they got snatched off by the brushes of Auto Bell car wash smacked into my windshield I had to ride through the whole car wash with water coming in on me only be told by the manager an hour later that they were not liable because they couldn't find the antenna and they never shut the car wash down to thoroughly look for the antenna. I also know what is that they sent two little young boys through there to look for something that's the managers job he faked two bathroom breaks in an hour mind you my car records and I see everything and he never went to the bathroom he stood in the car wash Talk to the employees. I brought my vehicle here hoping for a decent wash. My car was left with bugs on the front, dirt on the seats and they fail to clean the trunk or even wipe out the door jams. The Auto Bell on North Armistead in Hampton is my favorite car wash. My car had not been washed in a couple of months because of weather and because most of my time is spent outside Hampton Roads. I received the email about the company using an interior disinfectant. After reading that email, I knew I was going to get my car washed. The staff was professional, and used personal safety procedures to keep themselves and the customer safe. The interior disinfectant did not add any discernible time to the car wash. As always, the service was top notch. I asked the the trunk well be dried. The trunk well was not only dried, but the trunk was vacuumed and disinfected as well. So after a long night of partying I woke up to a filthy car with vomit all along the outside of my vehicle (don't ask me how it got there... I do not want to be reminded). I tried to clean it up with the supplies that I had but it was not working. I remembered this location and decided to come back. The line was not long at all (but it gone longer later so be prepared) and the rep there was very knowledgeable and friendly. The cost was very effective for me and so we ran the car through the wash. They did a very good job with the windows, vehicle itself both externally and internally. They even hit the cup holders, and change areas (the areas other car washes love to forget). The other trick is they cleaned the rear view mirror (again you would be surprised on how many places miss so many simple things). They even sprayed the vehicle to give it that good car smell. It only took about ten minutes tops and I was enjoyed and back on the road with a clean vehicle. Whenever in the Hampton/Newport News area try it out. I was definitely impressed and left with a good impression. read more

In the past week I have taken both my cars to Autobell, first my wife's Jeep which I have to ride with in the wash because of the onboard lane assist system. This means it was not vacuumed since I was sitting in it, at the end the car was returned to me still not vacuumed. I questioned the attendant and he swore up and down they vacuumed it but it looked the same on the inside. After a little attitude from the attendant my car was vacuumed and returned to me still a mess. Since I am regular user of this Autobell I returned with my Altima a few days later praying it was just a fluke. Once again car was returned to me not as clean as promised. The doors hadn't even been wiped down on the inside. I didn't argue it the second time and just left and will never return. Took my little Honda CRV there and they did a lousy job and they wanted a lot of money for doing a lousy job. I asked that all floor mats be cleaned and placed back in the correct location. They failed to do that. I asked that they clean the door jams and they failed to do that. I even had to ask them to vacuum the seats properly (redone). I am very upset with how my car just came out. I bought the 2 for $38 and If I hadn't already paid for it I would not be bringing my 2nd car here. The outside was still dirty I walked up and immediately starting wiping off dirt when I got home. I had to ask the guy to clean out my cup holders and vacuum my floors because they looked as if they weren't even done. For getting such an expensive car wash I at least expected my car to look decent but I don't think my interior was even wiped down. This most recent visit was just yesterday and the Employee name was Ricko. Let me tell you normally just a so so car wash and detail. You know what? I give up on Auto bell. THIS one. I brought them a brand new, literally, New Mercedes and it left looking like a dusty pinto. All I saw was water stains, dirty door jambs and base boards. My rims looked BEAUTIFUL after I MYSELF went back over them and I could've LICKED my windshield and dashboard cleaner. Towel residue on EVERYTHING EXCEPT the stuff they didn't even bother touching like the steering wheel, the dashboard and the windshield. Look ... for 23.99 you can wash your own damn car AND have a drink for a better job well done after!
