The repair was awesome. Needed a spring replaced. Had a previous spring replace 18 months prior. Placed a call to A-Authentic Garage Doors about 10am today and the repair technician was at our home by 12-noon sharp. Repair was completed before 1pm. As one Garage Door spring had been replaced 18 months prior we felt that only 1 spring needed to be replaced. Our complaint is that we felt the repair technician should have discussed with us in advance the repairs needed and the replacement of one or two springs. The repair technician never discussed or explained what type of repair was needed but instead just went ahead and replaced both springs. A-Authentic does offer a $75 discount when having 2 Garage Door springs replaced. This company has had us and our repair service history on file for over 5 years now. It only seems like good customer service to bring it to an on going customers attention, such as ourselves, regarding the $75 discount for the replacement of 2 springs. After the repair, when we called A-Authentic to inquire about the $75 discount offer, we were told that the coupon or knowledge of the discount had to be presented during the time of service. Sorry to say but as of today A-Authentic has lost our business. ***UPDATE*** We can now give A-Authentic Garage Doors... 5 STARS We received a call from Darrell with A-Authentic Garage Doors within an hour after calling them earlier today to inquire about a $75 discount. As it turns out we were mistaken about the one spring being replaced 18 months ago. So as it turned out both springs did need to bbe replaced. Darrell understood our concern. A-Authentic Garage Doors graciously gave us the $75 dollar discount for the replacement of the 2 springs. We are more than statisfied with A-Authentic Garage Doors for making this right. Thank you A-Authentic Garage Doors for the great customer service!!! Cheryl Leggett read more

Everything they and others said. So the garage door malfunctioned; it's Sunday; the Cardinals game just started; and this week would not have worked for us to have it fixed. I messed around with the door for an hour and then decided there are some things I'm not qualified to do. The cable on one side was completely off and the chain was now sagging. I saw A-Authentic on Yelp and it had good, if not great reviews and advertised 24x7. I called at 2:01 p.m. and the call was answered immediately (remember it's Sunday). The person taking my call was very professional, helpful and accurate. He indicated they could have someone out between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. and that it was the same price weekend, holiday or weekday. At 2:30 the technician (Patrick) called to say he could be out at 3:00 but only if that worked for me. Of course that was perfect. He arrived at 3:00 and was finished by 3:40 p.m. He too was very professional, helpful and polite. He went right to work and explained what he did in detail. He knows what he's doing for certain. It's not often that one has a badly inoperable garage door for only about 2 1/2 hours. My total cost was $85. That's right, there's no number missing....two digits. I would and will use them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors. read more

New Home built in Buckeye. Decided not to go with the builder on my garage door opener. Wanted to make sure I got the most up to date system to use an app to monitor my garage door. I had A-Authentic come out and install my Liftmaster 3/4 opener, but my internet was not yet installed. The installation was flawless. Patrick did a great job! So now two weeks later I am trying to hookup the Liftmaster app to the home wifi and make the system work with a touch of a button on my phone. I am tech savvy but still could not get it to work. So I call up A-Authentic and talked to a rep. He says he will get Patrick to call me back and walk me through it. Okay, Patrick calls me back within five minutes and helps me TRY to setup the app. After a few minutes he decides the best thing to do is come out and program it in person. Now I live out pretty far out and I told Patrick I would understand if he could not get to me later in the week. Patrick explains that he is coming now and wants to make sure everything is done right. He knows I travel and worry about my girl at home. He makes it in record time and within three minutes has it working. That is customer service. Thanks again Patrick. Liftmaster is a great product, but you and your company make it even better. Every once in a while you get lucky.... really lucky. Yep, I am a "do it yourselfer" and I thought I could tighten up those springs. Of course I didn't notice that two guidelines were not installed properly from "another garage door company". So, as a "do it yourselfer", thinking I had learned a lot from YouTube.com, ripped open my arm as the springs sprung and I screwed the garage door up royally. Couldn't open it... close it... and as the industry says... got a "hung door". So that's where the luck came in. On a Sunday afternoon, A-Authentic Garage Door Service came out and I was even more lucky to get the professionalism of "Mike". He knew my problem, understood my problem and had my garage and my "skills" fixed in just about an hour. Two new springs that the last "garage door company" said were adequate, (they weren't), put on new end bearings, (because the last "garage door company" didn't put the guide wires on the spool correctly), and balanced everything out. Yep, even have a 5 year warranty.... but better yet, I know the job was done by a professional. Thank you Mike and A-Authentic Garage Door Service. (And he didn't even laugh at my efforts) read more

We just used A-Authentic because our garage door didn't "sound" right. I called to schedule an appointment and was expecting the answer to be "Next week" or even farther out because it wasn't an emergency. The receptionist said she could have someone out within an hour, thrilled, I agreed. Our Tech called as our address was in the system as Avenue instead of Drive. He was pleasant and arrived to our correct within minutes. He got right to work diagnosing the issue: One of our gears was completely stripped. Took photos to show us what it looked like above. Explained our options and explained them thoroughly. He explained we could replace the whole unit, but that the gear replacement would be sufficient. He agreeded, letting us know the age of our unit was 16 years old, original to the house and that the Lifetime Brand is a workhourse. He never tried to sway us to spend the extra money on a new unit. Just educated us on our options, we were very pleased with that. Once we decided he got right to work. We were up and repaired within 30 minutes. Thank you, A-Authentic! We highly recommend! read more

My remote had stopped working on my garage door - had already tried battery and new remote. The technician (Peter) showed up on time - said I needed a new opener (mine was from 1998 and have had many issues with it)... I agreed. While he was fixing it he pointed out my frayed cables and bad springs (I had been told years ago that my springs were bad but I didn't replace). I also said I didn't want the sensors but he gave me another option for closing the door from outside so the sensors could still be installed. Anyway - he fixed everything and explained what he did and why it needed to be done. Oh - and he didn't say anything HAD to be done right now... he told me why I would need new cables and what would happen if they frayed completely but I could save up for it. etc. Same thing with the springs - did not have to be done at the moment but... it was needed. Seriously I had no idea my garage door could be so quiet I love it. The price sounded about right but I really have no idea. I would definitely use again and recommend - did a great job and very nice. read more

I have used A-Authentic a few times, and it has always been a great experience. About a year or so ago my motor had started to die on my garage, and they were able to have Hector out the same day, with multiple motor options. The installation was very quick and Hector was great! The new motor is SO quiet. Hector had also let us know that the door was original to the house, so if we had any issues with it, it wasn't cost efficient to repair, and gave us some general pricing for a replacement door. Overall we had an amazing experience. Recently our door had started making a loud popping noise and we noticed some cracking in our panels and decided it was time to replace our entire door. We called in and spoke with Randy, she was able to get us scheduled for a day/time that worked best for us. They sent Patrick out, and he installed our door on a weekend and even reprogrammed our keypad which had been having issues intermittently! He was super friendly and helpful. We won't use any other company. A-Authentic is the best. read more

A Authentic Garage Door Service staff are professional, polite and friendly. This was a wonderful experience for me from beginning to end. Raymond came out to work up a proposal and explained all my options from repairing my existing door to a total replacement. I'm renovating my house from top to bottom and chose a total replacement. He wrote up the proposal, applied a coupon to my order and we made a tentative date to replace the door. Along the renovation path, we had some delays with other companies working on our house and the ladies in the administration department were gracious and accommodating in rescheduling my installation. The Tech, Billy, was terrific. He was prompt, friendly and when finished with the installation, explained the garage door operations in detail. Good value for the money and it's nice to see a company who takes pride in their product and in their exceptional staff. I will refer A Authentic Garage Door Service to my neighbors, friends and family. read more

My garage door was limping along for about a year. The thing was ancient, it probably saw Ford Model T's in its younger days. It passed away peacefully this Saturday morning stuck in the upright position. Duct tape and prayers were no longer sufficient. I called the company, explained the situation and that I needed a new system. . Eric the Tech was at my door about 70 minutes later and about another 90 minutes later I had a brand new LiftMaster, a weather seal, and new runners. Before, every time my garage door operated it sounded like a chainsaw in an empty bathtub. Now all I can hear is the sound of silence when it glides effortlessly up and down. Who knew garage doors were not meant to waken the dead??? No up sell, all were needed. Prices given on phone were transparent . No surprises - other than LiftMaster only provides one remote. So had to purchase second. That's a LiftMaster thing not related to this company. I'd have no hesitation recommending them. read more

Christopher Brown arrived at my house on a Sunday promptly and with a smile on his face. That was a good thing cause I wasn't smiling at the possible costs to repair my malfunctioning garage door. Christopher very quickly put my concerns behind me when he told me the repair would likely be $225. This was less than I expected and besides repairing my 2 car garage door he did a safety inspection and lubrication of my 1 car garage. I had a remote with the 2 door buttons on it that I could not get to work, Chris pointed out to me I had the batteries in upside down and did not charge me to correct. Lastly I told Chris my 2007 Dodge had the buttons in it to open the garage but I have never set it up. Again Chris to the rescue programed the buttons no charge and now I do not have to keep a door opener in my car. I highly recommend this company, A-Authentic and Christopher Brown as well. read more

Back in Sept 2013, my main garage door failed because the garage pull hinge came off. Base don the star count I chose A-Authentic. I'm gald I did. I called them for an appointment and Billy showed up the next day in the morning and told me exactly what I needed to fix the door. Also he told me that the orignal hinge was the wrong type and was surprised it lasted as long as it did. The upper panel and the hinge needed replace. Here's where Billy went the extra mile. Billy located the panel but the vendor never replied. He knew I needed it fixed before weekend. So he kept calling around and found one fo rless $$. He came by on Saturday, did the repairs and it cost 450.00 which given the hour he was there and the fact that the panel was huge,it was worth the cost. He wne the extra mile and ask for him. read more

I have been wanting to install a keypad on the outside of my garage for some time. I finally went on Yelp and asked for bids. A-Authentic Garage Doors responded within an hour and offered to come out that same day, which was a Sunday. While I didn't need same-day service, I scheduled the appointment for later in the week. Joe H. showed up early for the appointment (no problem there) and had my new keypad installed within 20 minutes. He also showed me where the rollers on my garage doors were starting to wear and would need to be replaced eventually. (There was no heavy sales pitch, just an observation.) He was courteous and helpful, and I appreciated the quick turnaround time. Yes, I would recommend this company to anyone who needs help with their garage door. Thank you, A-Authentic Garage Doors! read more

A-Authentic is our go-to garage door service company because of prompt, professional-quality service in the past, and very recently. We were headed to work early yesterday. Wifey pushed the garage door button, and thinking I was clear of the door, managed to back right into it. (Smart, huh?) Outward-bent panels hung up near the top, and forced the door off its rails. A call to A-Authentic, and technician Jeff B was on-scene within 3 hrs. Bottom-line, we have pallets of valuables stored in one-half of our garage, so ours was a situation that needed resolution, *same day.* 5-Star tech Jeff B was back in a couple hours with a new garage door that's a close match to our existing house color, and had the new door completely installed by 4 PM. Wifey and I are very pleased read more

Having difficulty trying to reach the owner. Left a message but was told it could be days before I get a return call. I had springs replaced this morning and now I have a big stain on the front of the garage door since the tech somehow sprayed the door as well as the springs. Hopefully I will get a response and satisfaction from the company to fix the problem they caused. To be fair, the problem has now been totally resolved. Darrel came out, saw the problem and proceeded to restore my garage door to the original state. Probably even better than it was before. Customer service was the key to this problem and as soon as I had my complaint listened to, it was resolved to my satisfaction. Therefore I have no problem recommending this company in the future. read more

I received a quote from sales manager Ray on April 09, 2018. We decided to order a single insulated doors and a double door with Model 8500W operators and new track for higher ceiling clearance. The door panels we wanted were insulated R-18 due to the hot sun on our doors ALL DAY LONG. April 26, 2018 this new parts were installed by HECTOR S. and a helper who worked very hard and completed the job in one day. Everything worked fantastic, looked good, and were so quiet my wife now does not know when I come home. AWESOME equipment, and FIVE STAR installation. I have had Lift Master operators before and these are the best I have ever had. You may pay little more but receive a lot more from a company who cares. FIVE STARS TO THE INSTALLER, HECTOR S. read more

Called A Authentic on Saturday afternoon, explained problem with garage door opener and they scheduled a tech for Monday between 6-8 pm. The tech, Hector, called at 6:07 indicating he would arrive in 20 minutes. Hector arrived a 6:25 pm. Very pleasant gentleman. I explained the problem and he indicated a new opener was necessary. He explained all options with the new install and product indicating the install would take approximately 1 1/2 hours. The entire process took 1 1/2 hours including demo of the new opener and features. Hector was very helpful and courteous. I had used this company many years ago for spring replacement at a previous residence. They are professional, courteous and prompt. Thank you for the excellent service. read more

I called late Saturday morning and to my surprise I got someone out to my house just a few hours later. Brandon was my technician. He clearly explained everything that was going on. I waited a little too long with the loud noises and now the opener had passed on. He took his time to install everything well, worked on the door as well that has some mishaps from the last company I used that made a mess of it. He was sweet, friendly and wanted me to be confident that I understood all that was being done and why. I really appreciate this as the last company didnt do half on this and ended up costing me double the money. A-Authentic stands by their work but I dont think I will need to call them back.I was very happy with my service. read more

My garage door sounded like it would fall down every time I raised or lowered it. I called A-Authentic Garage Door and JT came out. He said he could sell me a new door for about $1800 but mine was fixable for much less and it would be good as new. He did the repair work for less than $1000 and even fixed a wire connection in my opener so the light would work again. That light has not worked for a few years but I couldn't afford to get a new opener just to get a light to work. So now I have both a door and an opener that work fine. I would highly recommend A-Authentic and specifically JT to do any repairs or replacement of your garage door. He was honest and had come out very quickly. I was completely satisfied. read more

Well, tonight I made the biggest faux pas and accidentally backed up into my garage. I called the company and asked them if there is any way they could come out tonight and they made it work. Perry, their garage door service man, called me 20 minutes before arriving and let me know he was on his way. He was extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job and I went from thinking I was going to have to replace our garage door to having it fixed. This is the fourth time we've had this company out for garage issues; first for backing into one, doh! Every single time we've been more than pleased. I recommend them to anyone and I highly suggest you contact them with any garage door issue needs. Thanks again Perry! read more
