I was thinking any optometrist would try to sell me on a prescription (ridiculous I know - call me skeptical lol!) The testing took 15 min, very efficient. They caught exactly my issue, astigmatism. I do however have 20/20 so he explained that tho I may struggle in more dimly lit areas, glasses were not necessary! Gave me a prescription anyways in case I wanted to see clearer, but assured me my eyes are developed enough to not need any help currently. Great place! It then got infected and was one of the most painful experiences in my life. Dr. Amini was the first person I contacted because she was recommended through family and a mutual friend. Dr. Amini saw me while practicing the safest methods possible amidst the pandemic. She immediately identified the problem through a quick and thorough panel of tests, prescribed the best medications, and easy to follow directions. In the picture you can see the middle portion which is lighter in color. That was the tear! Like half the cornea! Not gonna lie I liked wearing a eye patch and looking like a pirate for a week while my eye healed-that was mostly my idea. After a few follow up appointments I was as good as new in 2 weeks time. I went back to Alpine office only to be treated really rude by the older, white lady, the one assigned to give you glasses to try on. She refused to assist me further after she fixed my glasses. We didnt realize until they gave us a total, then "couldn't" add any of the things we wanted because the order was placed (yet we hadn't paid). We pushed it and they were able to make changes. I asked for my prescription to be printed so I could order contacts online. They only printed my glasses prescription. My husband went in today to pick up his new glasses. The lady handed them to him and walked away. Didn't check to make sure yhey, needed any adjustments. She honestly didn't even stick around long enough to make sure they were the ones he ordered. We had 4 appointments the day we went in (us and 2 of our sons). All 4 of us left thinking it was a complete waste of time and money. Definitely regret going there and will never return. Yeah they have a good selection of high end glasses but nothing I couldn't find elsewhere.
