I do however have 20/20 so he explained that tho I may struggle in more dimly lit areas, glasses were not necessary! Every staff member greets you with a warm hello and smile. My previous Dr. left to another facility so I had the services performed by Dr. Rachel Inlow and she was nothing short of amazing. she was very detailed and conveyed the information in an easy to understand language. I'll definitely be requesting her for my next annual exam. The fees are very reasonable (I had to pay "out of pocket) and I consider a great value. If you're due for you annual exam I highly recommend Lake Murray Optometric without reservation. Also recently my wife's expensive pair of glasses became damaged (one of the ear piece hinges broke and couldn't be repaired). I brought them to Lake Murray Optometric (where they were purchased) and Des Elsen one of the Opticians said she'd try and get the frames replaced under warranty. She was successful and when the frames were received she sent the frames out for installing the frame lenses. Everything was performed under warranty and with a smile. Long story short - Dr. Rex Werner identified a missing component in my prescription, and a potential future eye issue that I had not been informed of in all the years I had been going to the big box store. He also took the time to thoroughly explain my prescription, what it means, how it affects my vision throughout different situations, and how best to use the corrective implements (I got both a glasses and contact prescription) in those different situations. He also switched me over to a new contact lens brand that not only felt much, much better, allowed me to see better in different conditions. The difference in my experiences between this boutique optometrist and the big box store could not be greater, and I am very, very happy. Bottom line - this shop is over 15 miles from my house, but I will happily drive to receive the level of care that this office provides. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I waited for about ten minutes and was asked to follow a nurse to a small room to do several eye tests. She returned me to the waiting room which was attached to their eyeglass area with lots of frame options. Dr. Morgan came out and got me and escorted me to an exam room. He went through the normal battery of tests. He asked lots of questions and was straightforward with information which I appreciated. I got my new prescription and took a look around at all of the frames. All of the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend to facility and Dr. Morgan. So during this whole pandemic I managed to have a very serious and critical corneal abrasion by…read morerubbing my eye too hard and my sleeve cut my cornea. It then got infected and was one of the most painful experiences in my life. Dr. Amini was the first person I contacted because she was recommended through family and a mutual friend. Dr. Amini saw me while practicing the safest methods possible amidst the pandemic. She immediately identified the problem through a quick and thorough panel of tests, prescribed the best medications, and easy to follow directions. In the picture you can see the middle portion which is lighter in color. That was the tear! Like half the cornea! Not gonna lie I liked wearing a eye patch and looking like a pirate for a week while my eye healed-that was mostly my idea. After a few follow up appointments I was as good as new in 2 weeks time. Honestly a great doctor with safe practices and very friendly/professional staff.
