I enjoyed this amusement park. I got the combo ticket, and was able to do a lot. Indoor roller coaster, mini golf, laser tag, rock climbing, virtual reality ride, and go cart racing. The buffet was good too! The pizza is better than most buffet pizza, and they have asian american options too like orange chicken & chow mein. It's unfortunate arcade games aren't included, but overall it was a great experience. read more

Very disappointing. Decided to take the family for dinner and some fun on a Friday night during Winter break, only to get there a little after 7pm and the buffet is closed. So okay we'll eat in the bar and grill. Close to $100 later I've paid for 2 kids to have unlimited go karts, Lazer tag and $20 credit toward bar food. Plus two $25 video game cards. Not a bad deal! So we head to the bar with 3 adults and the 2 kids to eat. Well yummy, yummy for almost $20 you to can get a mediocre buffet level pizza. For $10 you can get 5 of the tiniest hot wings you will have ever seen. There was hope with the ordering of a simple cheeseburger, but it came out like it had been sitting for some time. What really topped off the experience in the bar and grill was the rushed and seeming disinterested service provided. It doesn't seem that anyone tries to cater to adults spending time waiting on kids enjoying the place. Our bill minus the $20 credit was close to $100. I wish for that kind of money I had known the buffet was closed and we had just stopped and eaten before we came. Most aggravating was that obviously someone more important than regular paying customers was sitting right next to us getting "Trump style" service and treatment. Today was my second time. The rollercoaster was awful, my child got whiplashed and still says she is nauseous. The food was awful I couldn't eat even though I had a pass to their buffet. But most outrageous thing was the condescending attitude of a young man who worked the register where the tickets were being redeemed. The bad first. They legit tried to charge us a mandatory gratuity of over $100 for a girl to bring out our pizza and drinks and the cake we bought. That's it, that's the only time we saw her. We had to hunt her down for the 2 things we needed her for which caused us to schedule the time for her to bring out the cake so we wouldn't have to go find her again. She also spilled a drink all over one of the kids and never brought a towel. He just stood there awkwardly with soda all over his crotch waiting until the group finally just went back to laser tag. When it was time to pay, she asked if we were ready for our check and then disappeared for over 15 mins. When I finally got my bill it was $300 more than was quoted in my agreement. Part of that was an insane automatic gratuity- not on the cost of food like every other service industry spot- but on the price of our wristbands. Oh, absolutely not lol I spoke with the manager and she told me it was all in my agreement. I pull up the agreement, it's not there. She tells me to wait... I kid you not 20 solid minutes goes by before we see her again, where she concedes that it's not a policy and calls it a glitch. She ended up fixing all the errors in what we were charged, like how they charged us for one person who'd paid cash already. She was super friendly and I genuinely think she thought it was their policy. Aside from that- this place is amazing. It's one of our favorite places in Austin. I'm giving it 5 stars cause despite this one crappy experience that soured a good hour of our party, we had a blast. Food was good, the new expansion is awesome. Games are super expensive but we weren't there for that. The staff was so wonderful. The go kart crew is on top of their sh*t yall, they were so quick and responsive to the nuances of each race. It was such a well timed experience. All of the rides were fun. Seriously can't say enough nice things about this place. I think this was the fifth or sixth birthday party we've had here. We always passed by the place but seeing as we don't have children of our own, it never felt right to go. My parents came into town and have heard us talk about this place. We decided to go together as a family. We had a lot of fun! We got the $40 option that gave you reign over the rock wall, mini-golf, bowling, go-carts, a $10 arcade card and a lunch buffet. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is that the buffet fell flat and was just unimpressive. We did not go for the rock wall because it seemed tailored for children, not 150+ sized adults. The arcade was dinky but had some great options. My husband actually hit the 1000 ticket on a game and got some great prizes I was impressed by their prizes. The bowling alley was cute! They had leather sofas at each lane and had a grill restaurant you could order from and they brought it to you while you bowled. The putt putt area is outside, and they have a yellow and a red course. Yellow is easy, Red is hard. 18 holes each course. They have bumper boats as well! I'm unsure if they were included in what we purchased but with the cooler weather we were not interested in them but it was fun as hell watching kids spray their parents They also have a VR section inside the arcade (at an extra charge) laser tag upstairs and a batting cage outside by the golf course. We did not try any of these options but seemed popular during our visit. Now my favorite thing was the go carts! They have two tracks and you are able to do both. The only difference I could see between them was fewer drivers allowed on one of the courses and you had to be taller than 48 inches. They have single and double carts and it's tons of fun! My parents are in their early 50s and my husband and I are reaching 30. No age limit on fun! This place was a great choice for our Sunday Funday. read more

With just moving to South Austin last year from Ohio, it took us over a year to visit this place. I had family in from Ohio , including my 20 year old Autistic Brother who loves go karts. We decided to give this place a shot and had a blast! My review is for the one staff member that caught our attention. He was the only one we saw all day, really take the time and care about his tasks at hand. He took the time to check each and every go kart belt thoroughly, (instead of the casual tug that most others do), helped all the younger kids in and out and was constantly running between attractions to help his fellow coworkers out. To see a young adult with that much passion and work ethic gives us hope for the future generation. Thank you for making our experience an even better one! Someone give this kid a raise! read more

If you think you're going to come here for so yummy food and a fun time, think again. We were seated at a dirty table. Our food order came out before our drinks (which never arrived). Our server never checked on us. And the food was awful. The so-called "world's best fries" tasted like that had been frozen for 84 years. The burger had no condiments on it. And when we asked the food runner to get us anything, he said "I just run the food". No offer to get our server. Nothing. Either this establishment needs to pay it's employees more. This place is a ton of fun. I enjoy the food and the attractions they have! The only downside are the lines for the attractions and the people standing in line. It isn't just teenagers, but people in general, screwing around, pushing their friends into total strangers, or getting out of line and pushing your way back through. It's a monthly gathering that anybody is welcome to show off their car whether it be classic slightly modified fully modified or custom-built show car even lift the cars and motorcycles are welcome. It cost over $300 for the 8 of us and after 2 hours we were done. The Buffett sucked. While the salad bar was nice, the dressings were watered down and had no taste. The pizza's had hardly any toppings and tasted like cardboard. The laser tag was good, and while the go-karts were slower than they used to be, they were still fun. I did like that they had a track for my 5 year old (even though it would be faster for her to walk around the track). If you go, skip the Buffett. The cashier sold us 3 full pass for outside, 30 min before they closed the outside but failed to tell us it was 30 min before they closed the outside. 15 min into golfing, we were told to go inside and request a refund from the nice man who was cleaning things up. We tried to talk to the cashier and what we found out later was a manager about the confusion and the cashier admitted she didn't give us a receipt and I asked her if she could look it up with my credit card. Or maybe check the system or trash for the receipt and she refused. manager didn't even care enough to compensate us. In any way. After demanding and yes I demanded to talk to a manager she claimed she was the manager, she threatens to call the police on us. The police. I have NEVER been in this situation. It's clear you could have compensated us in some way or another and instead of hearing us out you threatened to call the police. Yes we were upset. For very obvious reasons. But to call the police on us? That manager is terrible and most definitely had the authority to give us a break. Instead she knowingly screwed us out of $80 and insulted us in public. ON MY BIRTHDAY. And yes, we told her that too. We get it. Austin park and pizza makes money off of everything. They don't care if three people ever come back. Overpriced and out of touch. Service recovery nonexistent. After spending hundreds of dollars on games and cold food, we added more money to a card just to play laser tag. The equipment did not work at all. A complete waste of time. They tried to fix it twice without success. We did not receive a single "I'm sorry for the inconvenience." When they finally figured out their technical issues, my kids attempted to put their third set of vests on. The clueless attendant demanded they wait until they watched the video for a second time. Frustrated with the experience, we decided we'd prefer our money back. The managers on staff offered only a loaded gift card with the money we had already spent specifically for the laser tag game. I am a grandmother. It was lots of fun for the kids, but they are incredibly understaffed. The food was delicious actually, if you didn't mind waiting 45 minutes for your meal. You also have to wait a long time in each individual ride because it's not manned. Several of the rides were closed because they were being painted. Shady business practices here. Recommend avoiding. Went in and purchased a arcade card and tickets for the ride. The person at the desk told us that attractions can be paid for on the card. We went on one ride and played some games and when we went to another attraction to pay with the card we were turned away, that the "bonus" cash on the card was not eligible. We were not told about "ineligible" use when getting the card - specifically when I wanted to purchase separate attraction use at the beginning, this was not mentioned. Had my purchases Been separate as when i walked in the building there would have been no problems. I had the manager called up and explained the situation and they refused to honor the business. Avid game lover here, I must say I had really high hopes coming into this places as it's incredibly visually appealing. However, as we started playing the games they have spread around we realized most were either broken, missing crucial pieces like balls, or just completely not working. Took my family including my 2 1/2 yr old grandson to this establishment today. After paying and playing games, my grandson got hungry so I inquired about the buffet cost. Because my 2 1/2 year old grandson is 38 inches tall instead of 36, he is charged $12.94 for the 3 pieces of pizza that he ate. I questioned this charge and was told with EMPHASIS yes, because he is over 36". Then proceding to the buffet was scolded multiplt times by the Male server that HE WAS THE ONLY ON THAT CAN EAT. He repeated this 4 times. Then when I asked for 3 pieces, he questioned me again "HOW MANY???" Then he proceeded to hover around our table keeping vigil to make sure my grandson was the only person eating. I can understand why this place has only 2.5 stars when you treat guests this way. I don't quite understand how this place got such a bad rating on yelp. We actually had a great time and our experience with the entire staff was pleasant as well. Our boys 8, 5 and 2 had a lot of fun and asked if we can come back again soon. Before purchasing any package deal or game cards, we decided to look around and check out the place as it is quite big. First of all I have noticed how clean the facility is. Everything is kept clean and I'm so appreciative that the indoor doesn't smell like old sweat and feet. (If you know what I mean). Also I like that it's not too dark and dim and that you actually can see where you walking. The food area seemed nice as well and even though we got there as soon as they opened the buffet was ready and set up (which I have to say is pretty great as I have seen many places where it takes a while until the kitchen is fully open and ready) The outdoor space is also kept nice and clean and we have seen staff on almost every big attraction/ride. We can tell that gokarting is one of the most popular activity among the kids and the line was getting already long. We decided just to play some games and opted to get a game card instead of a wristband as their height requirements are pretty strict and our 5 year old could only ride on few rides. Our toddler wouldn't be even allowed on the carousel which is a bummer as that's is favorite ride. Although they have some deals on their game cards I must admit that each game is pretty expensive and you use up the money pretty fast with three kids. But at the end everyone had fun and were able to chose something from the reward section. All in all a great place to come and spend some time. This place is targeted toward older children (children 5 and under might be bored as there is not much they can do unless they are taller than 48 inches). read more

The buffet is is the worst thing i have ever seen! The salads literally had the worst topping to pick from. My 7 year old who normally loves a good salad had to get nothing but parmesan cheese( because thats the only kind of cheese) and ranch dressing on lettuce! My other kid got 1 piece of pizza and mac & cheese. The people serving just dumped the mac & cheese on top of the pizza. My wife and I had a blast here! We pulled in the parking lot and immediately noticed how clean the entire property looked from the outside. When we walked in the hosts at the ticket counter were getting random and crazy questions from a group of kids and did a great job interacting with the children! This place is tore up from the floor up. The arcade, while shiney and beepy from afar, is like a dystopian vision of the fragility our high tech society. With many broken buttons and malfunctioning machines, this is where aged arcade machines go to die. The pizza buffet makes CiCi's seem exquisite. Granted, the cavernous and soothingly lit dining areas at Austin's park and pizza are soothiing compared with CiCi's frenetic, overcrowded, infectious disease-propagating spaces. Slogging away at the batting cages was about as fun as breaking rocks with a tiny sledgehammer. Finding a working lane is half the battle. Then, the excessively heavy plastic balls come hurtling at you at variable speeds and locations like so many deadly near-Earth asteroids. Should you make contact, the vibrations will threaten to shake your hands right off of their wrists. Do not want. I skipped the bumper boats, as these looked about as fun being misted by windshield washer fluid. A 1981 Isuzu I-mark was my very first car when I was 16 years old. This wounded yak owas already 13 years old when I got it. Top speed, slower than you need to go. Acceleration: glacial. Handling: like a Chinese container ship. Potentially deadly exhaust fumes frequently graced the uncomfortable cabin, and my arrival at any destination was highly unlikely due ridiculous mechanical failures. I was once stalled and stranded inside an automatic gas station car wash. That tragic first car is exactly what came to mind as I puttered around the go kart track. The one bright spot is the miniature golf. The courses are well-maintained and fun to play. I would return for this attraction. In summary, I don't really recommend Austin Park and Pizza. Were this a cheaper attraction with super-helpful employees, this would be a pretty cool place. As it is, this place has the stench of slow and steady decline and of who gives a bleep apathy. This place may seem fun at first glance. But you will soon figure out they are out to take your money. So many of the arcade games will take your money and not let you play the game. When I approached an employee she rolled her eyes and said "wait." and turned around and talked with her co worker friend (with her mask off). The go kart operators let everyone start without any rules or order which resulted in 5 cars being wedged in between the sides of the track for 15 minutes and we just had to sit there. Many employees had their masks pulled below their chin while in very close proximity to guests and there was no sign of any sanitation going on in the whole facility. I feel like everyone who has written a crap review of this place has Disney land standards, in a town that really doesn't have any theme parks at all. If you are a kid, this place is cool as heck. Not a kid here looks bored, and I'd be hard to even find an adult who isn't looking around longingly wishing it was them running from ride to ride... For $25 you get food and rides. You can't even go to a carnival and spend that little now days. Is the pizza the best ever? No way.. But name a kids pizza place where you go for the food? You don't. You go to entertain them. You go to make memories. You go so they will stop watching tv. You go so they can stop saying "mama mama mama... I'm bored". You go... To see your kids smile. Disney tickets are over 100 for a day.. They can afford the extra service and attention to detail. This is Austin people, and really you are limited on where you can take the kiddies! I don't like this place, but we come here once a month for some child's birthday party. I have also hosted a birthday party for my 7-yr old here. Here is the scoop: 1- this place is really designed for a 6-8 year old. Any younger and they can't ride most of the rides; any older and they'll be bored. There are bumper boats that squirt water, laser tag, go-carts, mini golf, archaic arcade games, rock climbing wall and more. 2- Come during the weekdays and it's much less crowded. On the weekends, there is a long wait for the cool stuff like go-carts and laser tag. 3- Don't come expecting a good meal. The salad bar is standard and the pizza is just edible. 4- The staff is full of teenagers who hate their jobs. Please smile sometimes. 5- The bathrooms and eating areas are pretty dirty. They really need to hire more people to clean. 6- the $19.95 price is not all inclusive. Many games require tones ( which can be purchased for additional $$$) My kids only want to play the games requiring tokens because it gives them tickets to trade in for candy or other useless novelties. I would probably take my kids more often if the price were lower. $50 for a mom and 2 kids is just too much to pay for about 3 hours of entertainment and food that my boys don't even like. read more

My husband and I visited this place on a Saturday around 12:30. First impressions is this place is huge! There is more than ample parking though. Austin's looked very clean! We made our way to the bar first. We both ordered beef tenderloin sliders which were really good! Be sure to ask for Sydney if you are in the bar area. She is awesome! Very friendly as well. We went on the 7D motion ride next. It was so much fun and definitely my favorite thing there. We had to shoot werewolves. It was scary, but it was a fun type of scary! Definitely do the 7D motion ride if you are at Austin's. You won't be disappointed. We also played some games at the arcade. The machines all look new and like they are taken care of. The coin drop game was my favorite followed by the Walking Dead game. All in all, this place is so much fun! For me, the pro section begins shortly after arrival: I went to Austin's Park and Pizza for the first time just after Christmas. Our group was sizeable and we paid over a C note. I was a little sticker shocked when we walked in and at first I was thinking 'there's no way any of the food is gonna work for some in our group with dietary restrictions'. I asked to speak with the manager to ask about the food prior to entry. Johnathan and Marcus came over and explained how their gluten free pizza's work and which sauce was dairy free, etc. - they even double checked a particular item for me with a smile. They have salad and fruit - it was perfect. I was thrilled. Every member of our group was gonna get to munch together! (now its not gourmet just really kids friendly - after all this place is for kids.) We got our wrist bands and began to explore the park. There were very few people there as it was overcast, chilly and a weekday. We were thrilled! We were not there to play video games so I cannot comment on that area as we did not participate in the arcade. We also did bumper boats and since it was kinda cold they did not have the sprayers running - which was awesome because I was a little worried about that. We enjoyed a round of mini golf. We played lazer tag. We rode rides. We ate pizza. We were there all day long! It was a fantastic happy kidtastik frenzy kind of day! Every member of our group, young and old had a great time. Our focus was on fun with the children - with that in mind we would do it all again in a heartbeat. The management was more then helpful and we all enjoyed our junk food fix -together- which again, was the point. There are three different sizes of go carts so every member of our group was able to ride multiple times - this was probably the highlight of the activities for the kids. The only CON of the whole day: Now, I will say that the (full size) go-cart girl was rude and cranky to one of the kids in our group- but I was armed with an unbeatable smile and friendly yet firm voice so she turned her attitude elsewhere. I think she must aim her pout at easy pray cause she did not realize the kid was with me until I spoke up. It's probably time she find a new career away from children. Seriously. The five stars is considering how friendly and helpful the managers were as well as how clean the place was. (Seriously there are kids running amok with dirty hands - it could have been really bad!) Overpriced during normal times, but seeing as how our family hasn't done anything fun in almost a year we decided to do mini golf here since we thought you could social distance and it was outside. Boy were we wrong!! Just walking through the arcade to get outside we saw 1/2 the people inside not wearing a mask (including staff) and I kid you not, saw an employee take one off to SNEEZE into the air. This place was absolutely disgusting where the signs say 6 feet apart and people with no masks crammed into 6 inches in between. Even outdoors we did not feel safe and went home early AFTER paying $111 online for four people to play. Huge rip off and run by kids who don't care about any safety protocols at all.
