No two technicians understood our service details because of poor communication within. The install technician provided vague instructions regarding valves and power without ensuring I understood the process. We paid the service diagnostic fee, new pump, and $450 for a cleaning before set up. The results were below average. Days later, the pool tech arrived but was confused that the pool was empty, complaining it was harder to clean. He did not scrub or spray down any part of our plunge pool and basin. Marked it done. A layer of dirt remained on the floor, vents were still full of debris, and tiles remained dirty. I thought since we are giving this company around $4500 for this project, a complete clean up was guaranteed for our small pool that was kept clean all year. Poolie did send out an employee (sorry I can not remember) to make this right. He also set up getting the pool filled and explained everything in detail. We appreciate his effort in resolving many of the issues. These issues reflect a broader pattern of internal miscommunication. We frequently encountered problems with weekly cleanings being pump left on dry prime and baskets not being emptied. I was receiving sales calls for weekly service with an empty pool and no pump. It appears to be no central point of contact familiar with our account history. We have met some knowledgeable and friendly staff at Poolie, it was just inconsistent. I wish them the best.

I could not be more pleased with the work KINGZ Pool Services did on my pool coping and deck, and I…read morehighly recommend them! My pool originally had approximately 70% flagstone coping, while the remaining 30% had the existing concrete deck extending all the way to the edge of the pool. Over time, the concrete deck had moved and developed cracks, many of the grout lines between the flagstone coping had either cracked or was gone and the area where there was no coping had developed major cracks between the concrete cantilever and the tile line. Those cracks were allowing water to get behind the pool. KINGZ Pool Services recommended cutting back the concrete and installing Oklahoma flagstone coping around the remaining 30% of the pool and to regroup everything. I'll be honest -- I was scared to death to have someone cut into my existing pool deck! But it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. The transformation is incredible. They matched the new Oklahoma flagstone to the existing coping so well that, unless you knew there had originally been no coping in that area, you would never know it wasn't there from the beginning. They also expertly repaired the cracks in the existing concrete deck and paint-matched the repairs to the surrounding area. The result is incredibly seamless. They removed all of the old, deteriorated grout between the existing coping stones and along the tile line and re-grouted everything. They also properly cut back a line between the coping and deck so they could install mastic where it belongs. Previously, there was no mastic between the flagstone and the deck -- just grout that had worn away in many places. The entire job was completed in less than two days, and their attention to detail was outstanding. They were courteous, professional, and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were finished. They covered the pool during the work, and although there was understandably some dust left in the water, they actually got into the pool and removed the larger pieces that had fallen in. My filter and pool cleaner will take care of the remaining fine dust over the next couple of days. The quality of the workmanship, the attention to detail, the excellent color and stone matching, and the overall finished product exceeded my expectations. And they did it at a great price. If you need pool coping, deck repairs, grout or mastic work, or any of the other services they provide, I would absolutely recommend KINGZ Pool Services. TLDR: DO NOT USE Caribbean Blue Pools for ANY sort of pool renovations.  The quality of work and…read moreprofessionalism is obsolete.  I had a 30k+ pool renovation that they made a nightmare, details below.  I could not regret more, choosing them to do my renovations.  There is no upside to using Caribbean Blue Pools, I urge anyone considering pool renovations to skip them.  They do not care about you as a customer and will take advantage. **Update** The leak that Ken "fixed" did not hold and I will have to rerip up my finished pool for the 3rd time.  Ken failed to property renovate the pool and pressure test the lines before starting the renovation (which is the industry standard for a non working pool).  I messaged him to work through this and he did not respond.  I had an outdated and not working pool in the house I recently moved into.  I know nothing about pools and reached out to Ken to do a full remodel (tile, plaster, lights, equipment, etc) everything to get a pool up and running.  Ken reassured me that he had 20 years of experience and that they were fully competent to get my pool up and running. I cut a check for 10k and they got going.  He installed the equipment and contracted the tile and plastering out to another company.  When they finished and went to fill the pool, all the problems started.  The pool would not hold water and my yard started flooding.   Ken requested the reaming 20k for a "job well done".  I let him know that my pool was not working and I was not comfortable paying the full amount.  He lost it on me and told me that he has done his job and demands to be paid in full.  I paid for the work and proceeded to watch my BRAND NEW pool drain and flood my backyard.  I had to hire a third party leak detector that informed me a have a pool leak under my brand new pool deck.  I reached out to Ken multiple times and he told me "This isn't my problem your pool never worked when we started on it". I called him to talk through the situation and knowing nothing about pools, felt extremely helpless.  He LITERALLY laughed at me (I have this recorded) saying this is why I have my contract about testing for leaks before we start our work (Ha,ha,ha).  You have 20 years experience Ken, if you're so proud of it, use it to inform your clients of work that needed to be done! He admitted knowing that there was an issue with the hot tub holding water but failed to rely the importance of this to me before starting.  He also did not pressure test the lines before starting the work.  This cost me having just completed my full renovation (deck included) to have the brand new deck ripped up along with the brand new tile of the hot tub. The issues only furthered from there.  The leak detector informed me that the equipment that Ken with 20+ years of pool experience installed, was done incorrectly.  (Video here: https://youtu.be/4rjEOiIEPjE)  He did not ground my pool equipment and even left the equipment unbolted to the concrete slab which would have broke my pipes.  Leaving pool equipment unbonded is illegal.  Ken just did not want to do the work, due to the ground wire being harder to find.  I would NEVER have known that my equipment wasn't even properly installed unless I had been told (Ken knew this and never mentioned it to me!). The leak detector had a tough time locating the leak and Ken demanded that he speak to the leak detector.  Ken suggested digging into the floor of the brand new hot tub to look for the leak.  Unfortunately, this wasnt were the leak was and Ken's suggestion ended up costing me an additional $400, which he charged me to fix!  Thank you! He then wrote up a quote to fix a new targeted leak of the pool.  This was finally finished and supposedly I have a working pool.  Shockingly, the pool is still not holding water and I have the leak detector come back out.  I come to find that I also have a bad drain, plug and multiport valve that need to be replaced for another $500.  This should have been caught during the entire equipment revamp.  Ken also charged me an additional $1,500 to fix a leak that he suspected was there before starting the work.  I am also still waiting and will have to pay to have my brand new deck fixed due to this company's negligence. Do not trust them with large jobs.  If you want someone to just dump chemicals in your pool and collect your money, feel free but leave the large work for another company.
