Tedford Distributors had exactly what we wanted, in stock, and ready to go. They were able to get installers in just a few days later, and it was a whole team. Basically one guy per room, and they came in and basically knocked it all out in a day. Great experience, I highly recommend. I have never done flooring before, but if i do it again I will call Tedford Distributors first!

The installers themselves were a professional lot, about 3 or 4 guys showed up everyday at the same time (9am) and left at exactly the same time (5pm) everyday for 4 days. They did a great job and our 2nd floor looks exactly like we expected. They also moved our heavy furniture around and were very careful with everything. All in all, I'd highly recommend them.

I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I tell you, that's another level experience and knowledge from him about house remodeling and how to have those done correctly, effectively and cost-efficiently. Cost wise, I gave you my example. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. If you come across this shop and this review, I highly recommended at least give Amy a call or stop by at their shop to check out their offering. Our rep didn't think through the job and asked the day of install about our baseboards then claimed it was a "client change" to the job. I didn't think of the baseboard situation as I don't do this for a living. There sales rep did not do enough due diligence guiding us through our vision. The wood floor itself is great and high quality but the rest was a nightmare. Don't have them do anything other than flooring - their light construction and painting is honestly incompetent and terrible. Lastly, new carpet for our family room. They upsold us a super plush pad then failed to write it up correctly. When I asked why the pad was not correct (after install) they acted like I'm a carpet pad expert and I ordered the blah blah blah 8 pound something or other. They were wrong, got it wrong, I opted not to PAY to fix it so I'll live with it, I guess. Overall, terrible experience but it could be the rep I got. Totally uncoordinated and a lack of communication for what we needed for this project. Very disappointed since we used Soleil as a referral from a friend.

There are three things that really set millennium above our expectations…read more 1) Communication and collaboration were just outstanding. From start to finish we really felt like Stefan and his team were partners with us. They helped us select the right flooring even though it was ultimately less expensive than what we originally thought we would go with. Never did we feel like we were being up sold or pressured. 2) Delivery and quality. Stefan personally walked the job before and after everything was done. They did not ask for final payment until we were completely satisfied. Scheduling was awesome. They worked around all of our challenges and hit our target start and completion dates with precision. This was super valuable because it did not delay our move-in date. 3) Remarkable, genuine, and lasting Customer Service. This is the third thing, but probably the most important. It has been over a year since they installed our floors. We have called them back three times now for help with little things that we did not anticipate. Stefan and his team continue to provide excellent customer service even though there really isn't much money in it for them. For example, we remodeled our bathroom and needed a new transition because the elevation of our bathroom floor changed. It's like a $50 product that surely they don't make much money on. But they delivered. Go with these guys. You won't be disappointed.

The key decision I settled on Millennium was their in-house hardwood engineered floors....9.5 inches wide coated with polyurethane, European hardwood, and it is astoundingly beautiful. Pricing for this would have gone more than 13 to 16 dollars per sq ft at other stores if I selected a name brand. Let's just say that their pricing was far less and that you'll be hard pressed to find something of this quality at any other store in the area at this price range. Don't let the visuals in the store fool you into thinking that the wood is too wide and long. Buying hardwood flooring is like buying a tv set. It can never be big enough :) The quality of the work was also fantastic. Home depot and lowes saw the picture of my stairs and mentioned that it wasn't possible to work on because of the bottom step. There's no way to replace the bottom step and re-engineer with the new wood. The team did an amazing job overlaying the wood and reconstructing a new stair on top of my existing stair. It was absolutely unbelievable. In sum, I'm very happy about my purchase and am glad to have worked with Stephan, a very passionate, kind, and reasonable business owner who treats his customers right. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Stephan again in the future for any needs I have.
