My new floor tile has a pattern, and the backsplash tiles were 2.4" x 8" ceramic hand glaze ceramic tiles, and so neither would be easy to install unless the tile installer was very skilled. I thought the review photos on Yelp showed Eliab already has an extensive body of work done well, and I loved that he specializes in tile so I knew that he should be very competent at it. And he and his guys Salvi and Rafael were excellent! They worked hard and did very precise work. That was a ton of cuts and joints to line up perfectly with all that subway tile, and it looks wonderful. The cuts around light switches and power receptacles: also precise. He was as good as his word about showing up, doing it right, and cleaning up as they went. He earned my trust, was good to work with, and I would happily hire him again. I definitely recommend! I will post pictures for now as is - but keep in mind the construction is still going on so they will not look as great as they should. I'll try to remember to update our photos when the remodel is truly done.

The parts we wanted to get re-done where the dining room and a craft room, along with the foyer. Joel provided guidance on selecting the tile, then when we made the decision on color and type, he took up the rug and was careful to highlight areas that needed to dry before we could walk on them, which was a big help. We were extremely pleased with the results. The second job we had was more complex and included a long upstairs hallway, a bedroom, and 3 bathrooms, 2 closet areas and an in-between transition. Joel and his colleague worked tirelessly with expert craftsmanship and deftness, giving us updates every day on where things stood. He walked us through to let us know the progress and even uncovered some leaky toilets that we thought we had fixed (plumber review will be separate). He worked with a plumber he had contacts with and got us some new hoses that upgraded our old/corroded ones. All-in-all, I'm thrilled with the work he did. I feel duped by good sales people at a time I was overwhelmed and needed a company who would support me. The termination of my contract was also handled extremely unprofessionally in my opinion. Overall, the delays, communication issues, additional costs, and handling of the project's conclusion left me extremely dissatisfied.
