Overall, I had a good experience here. I had my Tesla model y tinted with their highest-end ceramic and it's made a big difference in my car. I haven't found any issues with the tint several days after it dried and it looks really nice! I liked that they carried 25% tint so I could match the factory tint from Tesla. Minus a star because it took longer than they said and the car was left dirty on the inside. Had a great experience at Austin auto Spa . Justin worked with my budged as to my specific requests and needs for my vehicle . He made sure to give me the best quote possible which was not only competitive but reasonable considering my time frame to get the work done . He was very polite treated my son who was jumping around acting like a typical 4 year old so nicely, he even gave him a little hot wheels car . He didn't try and price gouge me or make what I asked for sound like it was an impossible task that requires tons of money to be done . I basically wanted a paint correction and ceramic coating to get my wife's Audi back to looking fresh and remove all the swirls from the previous year. I also asked for him to wet sand and touch up a rock chip before coating the vehicle which he nailed and looks great rather than painting my entire hood like other places had suggested , which isn't bad but expensive . Last but not least I also wanted some clear wrap on all of the black glossy pillars of the vehicle so they would no longer get scratched by nails when people open and close the doors or being wiped down , as those ares tend to be very noticeable in sunlight and mar very easily. The vehicle only took a couple days which is a reasonable time frame for a busy professional detail shop to take for the work that needs to be done . Most other places wanted two to three days about the same basically, so I knew it wasn't an in and out detail job like some people expect these to be . No matter where you go a full paint correction wet sanding and ceramic coat application takes time to be done correctly and some coatings need a full day to cure and harden . I only got the sport package by Ceramic Pro as I wanted to save a little money but am extremely happy with the results . I'd definitely give Justin a chance if you need any minor or extreme detailing done to your vehicle. I am sure he will treat you as well as he treated me . Justin from Auto Spa was great. He did new my Tesla plaid over the holidays, even being short staffed they were able to get the job done. Throughout the process there were a couple delays but, Justin made sure to take care of everything. As a customer is was frustrating but, I know he did he best to provide a top notch finished product. We were not able to finish all the work before I needed to leave to Europe and have the car shipped there but, when I'm back I'll be leaving it with Justin to have everything finished. Got my car ceramic coated and paint protection film applied in the front. After the coat and film cured, I found very small spots of peeling (which is normal since the film needs to be stretched to apply), but Justin was able to fix it perfectly. People like Justin are rare these days, he takes any concerns and feedback seriously and will go above and beyond to make sure you're happy. He won't leave you hanging no matter how minor the issue. Justin is very knowledgeable and is always eager to help you out. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. My car is my baby. Noone...NOONE...works on my car. Not even the dealer if I can help it. Mechanical work(clutch changes to oil changes), detailing work and pretty much anything else are done by me in my garage. That is the one way to guarantee that everything is absolutely perfect. For something like a ceramic coating, you want a professional that doesn't have to watch YouTube to see how it's done. I certainly had no knowledge in that area and I needed such a professional. Justin(owner) is your guy. I did extensive research and got several estimates. Justin came out to my house on a Sunday and took a look at my car. He gave me a verbal estimate after I told him what I wanted(I ended up with the Gold package and had a long list of extras) and followed it up not half an hour later with a formal estimate via email. That estimate had EVERYTHING we had discussed. Nothing left out, no surprises...just exactly as expected. This was November. So then Christmas hit...money gets tight, you travel and get busy...whatever. I didn't have a chance to get back to Justin til late December. Guess what? No problem...estimate is still good and he can get my car in early January for his gold package. It was difficult for me to leave my car with him. Like I said, I'm VERY particular about my car. He had it for a few days and then called when it was ready. It is perfect. I never knew my car could shine like it does. The plastic parts all look new and the car absolutely glows. I also asked Justin to ceramic coat the wheels and Brembo calipers. They simply look showroom new. Long story short, these guys are good. They know what they are doing and can be trusted with your vehicle. Justin is honest and stands behind his work. When I am going to spend over a thousand dollars for a bunch of ceramic/paint/vinyl work, I care that he does the job right the first time. A half gallon of soup violently spilled all over the passenger seat and center console of my brand new high-performance vehicle. One of the most horrific things I've ever seen when it comes to cars and cleanliness...and Justin @ ATX Detail showed up to my place within hours to begin to remediate. He and his guy spent HOURS on the car: vapor steaming, applying enzyme treatments, and dissembling/reassembling parts. To the fault of the soup (it was extremely pungent), the car needed another round of steaming - and Justin didn't hesitate to treat the car again the next day for no added cost. The car is now 100% back to original condition thanks to the their persistence. I'd actually been looking at getting the car ceramic coated, and ATX Detail looked like a solid prospect. After spending some time with Justin - I now know that he is equally as passionate about precision as I am. I personally only use top-notch products to maintain my vehicles, and you can rest assured that he is using top notch products and systems to maintain and perfect yours. To me cost is always important...but when it comes to auto detailing, I prefer someone who strives for perfection and cares for clients vehicles as if it were theirs. Apart from difficulty in getting a hold of these guys, I scheduled 3-times and they NO-SHOWED all 3 times. If you have a small car or motorcycle, don't rely on these guys. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first 2 times (1 of those times I scheduled off in the AM) but the 3rd time they texted me 1.5 AFTER the time we scheduled saying there was traffic getting downtime. I should've just listened to the other reviews. Knowing that these people aren't very responsive, I kept close contact with them. To get them to answer my first request, it took 3 tries, but we scheduled a day and time for Friday at 7am and everything was running smoothly. Friday: There was a storm, so I texted the guy at 5:30am saying that it probably wasn't a good idea to come over to my place and work on my car. He agreed that he couldn't work and said he was free the next day. I texted him to ask what time he would come and got no response, even when I texted him again later that day. Saturday: He texted me saying it's "fleet day" (whatever that means) and says he'll be done by 10-10:30, so I asked if he could come by 12:30. He said he would try (??I don't understand why he said that when he said he would be done by 10:30). I told him I would be home, and to take his time. Then, he asked if he could come Sunday. I said I can only do Sunday if he comes at 7am. Then.....no response the whole day. Did not even come. Did not let me know he wasn't going to come. He didn't come on Sunday either and I have yet to have a response. This is so unprofessional. Don't tell a customer you are free a certain day and then not respond/show up. Also, you can't just not respond when you don't feel like responding. I waited all day and stayed home all day just in case. What a waste of my weekend. EDIT: He texted me literally less than 15 mins after I posted this, which is funny because he has been so unresponsive when we talked before. He said my "schedule was tight from the beginning", and then proceeded to tell me a pity story about how busy he was and about his family. I understand that life happens and everyone has other things going on in their life, but I don't think that's an excuse to not follow through with something you committed to. At least let the person know that you can't make it. Also, I don't think he realizes that other people have other stuff going on in their lives too...which makes it 100000x more annoying because he doesn't realize that he's being an inconvenience to other people's lives when he doesn't commit to his responsibilities because he's too caught up only thinking about his own problems. I am still waiting over 2 weeks for a quote to have 1 of our cars detailed and ceramic coated,was told I would have one in a day or 2,after they came and washed my other 2 cars. I was in a bind Friday afternoon trying to figure out where a leak was coming from in my engine. Talked with Justin and since I wasn't needing a detailed cleaning, he said to just swing by for a quick engine clean on the house! He and Ivan took care of me when I came out and put on a cleaner and power washed my engine. Looks like they saved me bigger bucks from having to take it to a mechanic because it looks like it might be a hose and not the radiator that I need to replace. While it appears most of the other reviews used the detailing service, I hired Justin to perform ceramic coating, Suntek Ultra PPF wrap, and tinting. Since he only does the ceramic (he is a certified Ceramic Pro 9H installer), he has a relationship with a partner to do the other parts. I trusted him to keep a brand new Tesla safe for several days and coordinate the whole affair since I dropped it off to him right after getting the car delivered. It was convenient since I don't live close to Lakeway, and I only saw the car again after everything was completed. I did meet in advance with the partner since I wanted to review available options more carefully. All I can say is that every aspect of the the entire scope of work (tint/PPF/ceramic) performed was outstanding. Of course, since it was a brand new car with few issues, I didn't have the benefit of seeing a dramatic before/after difference. But seeing how impressive the car looked when picking it up (and still looks), I have no reservation recommending ATX for such work, and feel like the least I can do is take a few minutes to write a favorable review and give others here an opportunity to know how he handled a complex and comparatively expensive project. Although he is obviously selling his services, Justin seems more like a straightforward, honest guy than a stereotypical salesman. He patiently answered a number of questions via email exchanges while I was considering various options. And for anyone interested, I was not asked to write an online review. I purchased the gold treatment, which involves 4 layers of ceramic on the non-wrapped paint, and other work on areas like glass and wheels, and comes with a lifetime warranty (details are on the website). It has been too soon for me to comment on the performance of the coating since it has been mostly garaged while curing, so I will update this review at some later date and maybe add pics. read more

I am an "older" divorced female and I have to say that Justin is an absolutely stand-up family man who does what he says he will do. All you older folks, especially, women will understand what trepidation it causes us to deal with "guy-stuff" like anything regarding vehicles. THIS is the place to have your engine cleaned. Now, that's not a HUGE issue, but my beloved 2005 Honda CRV was looking crummy under the hood, and it made me sad. I am SAD no more! After a thorough engine cleaning by Justin, my Honda practically hummed all the way home. AND, so did I. I sent a photo to my neighbor, and he said "INCREDIBLE." If there is anything needed for my Honda, that Justin's shop does, I will happily make an appointment and have him do it. BTW - this shop is a bit tucked away, but if you can't quite find it, Justin or one of his staff will meet you at the Jack In the Box, on the corner and lead you to the shop. He had to do that for me since this was the first time, but he was as courteous and welcoming as we remember nice guys being "back in the day." read more

This is very much past due, but better late than never. Ha! I was a day away from delivering my daughter and needed my car to be deep cleaned beforehand. My husband had previously smoked in the car consistently for years and I was out of commission on a car. Originally I had him clean as much as he could and called it a day, until my mom urged me that third hand smoke was not good for the baby's lungs. I began to look around for companies that deep cleaned automobiles and came across this facility. This place not only cleaned every crack and crevice of this vehicle, but also used ozone to drive the smoke out of the seats and upholstery. Justin was quick to respond and even quicker to deliver. Left my vehicle there the evening before to pickup the following day and when I arrived they were trying to finish it. Missed the carpet in the 3rd row seating, water spots, smeared windows. I purchased a gift certificate from ATX Detailing for detailing service as a Christmas gift for my husband. The certificate clearly states it is good for a whole year. It has been impossible to schedule an appointment, the online service allowed us to book an appointment online but then the business is no longer at the listed location, and the owner refuses to issue a refund. There are plenty of other local detailing companies who won't steal your money I would definitely check into one of them ! Edit to add : I sent a the owner a single email requesting a refund. As another reviewer mentioned after weeks of non-response he is suddenly VERY available when left a negative public review. He responded with a snotty message saying he had no contact info to send the promised refund since we have "numerous different last names" ( we are a two last name family -- it's 2016 -- not that mind blowing ) and he apparently does not keep records of transactions. I brought my 2003 Tahoe to these guys and they did an excellent job. I have had this car for all 12 years, and I am looking to sell it, and knew I needed it to look good for top dollar. Let's just say I neglected, drove on a bunch of dirt road around the hunting lease the weekend before I brought it in. I showed up and got an estimate for the full detailing, and schedule to drop it off on Monday. I pushed it back to Tuesday and didn't have a problem. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up after work, and they cleaned the hell out of that car. I am sure they will post the before and after. I will support all the comments below about flaky responsiveness and follow through. Company was paid in advance by insurance agency for truck cleaning and attempting to coordinate with them FOR MONTHS has gone fruitless. They will not reach out to you to follow up if something is delayed (weather or scheduling conflicts) and constantly trying to contact Justin makes you feel like a bill collector rather than a customer. All things considered you have no reason to risk your time because there are plenty of other vendors you could choose to work with. Do not risk it. *Revised* I have upgraded my 1 star to 2 stars because the vendor completed what was originally paid for. Had my calls or texts been returned in a respectful manner the review above would never have happened. Justin was upset I didn't provide an original review the FIRST time they came. The reason no review existed until now was the the PAID FOR SERVICE was for 2 treatments: The first a cleaning and smell treatment, the second visit a smell treatment follow up. I would not review incomplete service. I was never under any illusions that the second visit was for smell only and I never asked for or expected the truck to be cleaned a second time. As noted by vendor, the truck was so effected by a fire that 2 treatments were expected before any work was performed. Because of this we provided full payment up front, expecting that another treatment for smell would be necessary, and the bill paid at the start reflected the effort required, 2 treatments not 1. Coming a second time was not an act of generosity, it was a service paid for months in advance. So we fast forward. Weather did provide some scheduling difficulties, but to be clear, if your appointment is pushed for weather expect to track them down rather than them be proactive to coordinate with you. The truck was cleaned when they showed up to clean it. I stand by my review above, that the fault here was not that the truck was not cleaned but that the coordination process puts the onus on the customer. read more

These guys did an excellent job detailing an older Altima for us. The car had been sitting for a few months, undriven. The sunroof seals had started to leak, so there had been water standing in the back seat for quite awhile. The car smelled very musty and there was some mildew on the leather seats. Yuk. ATX did a very thorough cleaning and used some odor-reducing chemicals, and the car smells great now and the detail work was excellent. Planning to use them again soon on another car. Okay, no big deal, scheduling snafus happen so they came back the next day. Fast forward a couple months and I scheduled them again. Once again I cancelled my whole afternoon and once again, a no show. No text, no call and when I try to call their cell, I get immediately "ignored" (i.e. sent to voicemail in the middle of a ring). There are plenty of professional mobile detailers in Austin. Ask me and I'll give you some references. But don't waste your time with unprofessional people ... life is too short. They clearly have a culture of thinking that their time is more valuable than yours. read more

I recently had my car detailed at their new location on Burnet Rd about a month ago. In all fairness, I would have probably given 3.5 stars. After much time, ATX Detailing honored a coupon I had bought eons ago after I decided to just contact them one more time and see what happens (after many failed communications). To make up for all of the communication and lost time, in addition to the fact that I had to come to the location instead of them coming to me, I got more services than what I paid for. Sure, the estimate that he gave me for how long it would take was a bit understated, but I will say this, I appreciate his attention to detail which included a free headlight restoration and more window-cleaning once my car was driven out of the garage and into the sun and more spots were noticed. There are probably some kinks to be worked out, but I am happy with the service I (finally) received and will probably be back. read more
