I'm not sure if the gentleman who checked me out was the owner or a regular employee. Regardless, he did not have a friendly disposition when checking me out. (I am a woman of color for reference) he didn't even greet me which is a simple courtesy. I had to ask him "hey, how are you today" to which he didn't respond and just told me the balance I owed. My fellow friend (white male) checked out right after me and he greeted him! He also asked him how he wanted his items wrapped. (We both had the same items) If the store itself wasn't so nice and full of good merchandise/gifts I would've given it an even lower rating. To management: please know and remind your employees that even a simple hello goes a long way Edit: This seems to be a trend going years back (looking at reviews) with this business and their discriminatory practices. She spent nearly three hours with us, answering our questions and helping us find the right car seat and stroller/bassinet combination for our family's needs. When we decided on a car seat model that wasn't even listed on their website yet, Hannah went above and beyond by creating a custom order so we could get it as soon as it became available. My wife has arthritis, so we had done a tremendous amount of research beforehand. Being able to actually see, touch, and test the different products in person made all the difference. There is simply no substitute for hands-on experience when making such an important purchase. We ultimately chose the Cybex Callisto T 360 car seat and the Silver Cross Cove 2 stroller with bassinet, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We also realized that Enlightened Baby carried many of the items on our baby registry. We ended up switching our registry purchases from major retailers to this wonderful small business. They offer delivery, warranties, and, most importantly, exceptional customer service. Supporting a local business while receiving such personalized care made the entire experience even more special. I can't recommend Enlightened Baby enough, especially if you're a first-time parent or want expert guidance on choosing the safest products for your family.

They also have a lot of fun/unique snacks and beverages. I purchased the hand soap, but also got a thing of dill pickle pistachios...OMG, so good. The clerk was such a lovely human and quite helpful. I will absolutely be back and will be telling all my friends about this place. Great way to shop local! Take your vessels up there and they will tare out the weight on all of them. So cool! Oh, they also have Ridwell, so you can take your batteries, plastic film (grocery bags/zip lock type bags) light bulbs, etc. This place is clearly owned and operated by someone wanting to make a positive impact on their community and world. Unprofessional and slow in dealing with a batch of 100 invitations. Things ultimately did turn out…read moreOK, but not without a huge amount of hassle along the way. Our job involved three professionally designed custom graphics. The store failed to properly convey the necessary technical specifications needed for these graphics. Merely providing the dpi requirement is insufficient (I personally didn't know that at the time, but the shop certainly should have). The process of getting a final proof was dragged out through a period of about three weeks. The shop never called us, and nothing got done unless we called them. The three weeks included an inexplicable final delay of one week where the shop claimed our graphic files were (1) incorrectly colored and (2) pixelated. However, this was not the case. After our professional graphic designer pulled out her hair trying to figure out what was wrong with the files, she discovered that there was literally nothing wrong at all. After the shop realized they had been incorrect, they simply used the files they had previously received one week prior. No apology for the delay. The real icing on the cake for me was that instead of being apologetic (or even merely being courteous) in dealing with these issues, the shop was borderline insulting, stating that their printer "deserved a gift basket" for all the trouble we'd put them through! Most (all) of the trouble arose, however, from (1) Personally Yours failing to convey all the necessary information up-front; and (2) Personally Yours (and/or their printer) being technically incompetent. In conclusion, if you choose to use this shop for a printing job, I wish you the best of luck--you'll need it.
