The installation was extremely well done (much better than the job done previously by a different firm). Jeff was pleasant and explained a great deal as the work proceeded. Two days, ago, I called Village Plumbing and made an appointment for them to work on the hot water…read moreissue at my home. I expressed the urgency of getting the work done this week, and I was told that they would come this morning, probably around 9:30 AM. At 11:30 AM I called and asked if anyone was coming. The person who answered, who is the same person who scheduled my appointment, could not find any record of my name or address. I told him that we had wasted our time by making an appointment and waiting for them when they were a no-show, and that I would not be calling them again. He then said that he had found my address, and it was on the list for "Mike" to come to our house first thing this morning, but he did not explain why no one showed up. As it is possible that he made up the story about Mike after I gave him a piece of my mind, I have no basis to believe that he "found" the record of that appointment. Based on this no-show, I would not recommend Village Plumbing to anyone.

I ran a new, dedicated line to the well house for just this component, and the problems continued. I brought in another certified well technician who scoffed at the old unit they installed which kept failing. He suggested it wasn't the best and they probably had it laying around in stock and got rid of it by installing it on me. They finally installed a new UV system, and that worked great for a year. When it came time to change the bulb on that unit, turns out they installed the canister so you can't actually remove the longish bulb. I hired another well technician to fix this. Had to redo a bunch of the pipe runs. Also, the technician from Sparrow & Sons who came out repeatedly was odd acting and projected a lot of anger toward my wife when I wasn't here. I guess he thought we were problem customers and so we have had it with them. They are also incredibly expensive, and paying the amount we did for this kind of service is frustrating and led me to leave this review. There are other plumbers in the area.
