They didn't even ask what shape I wanted the nails, they added the acrylic to my nails while shaped squared. Also they made me bleed on one of my nails. There's nail glue around my nails and acrylic under my nails. About the nail tech, the brushes to clean up my nails and to paint the flowers, she didn't clean them and put them away with all the other brushes... that's unsanitary.

My nail set was a better experience. The nail tech helped me figure out the length. I do see some spots on my nails that have issues. Missing nail polish and bumpy nails on my thumbs. It was a bit awkward to carry all my stuff from my pedicure chair while wearing the flip flops trying not to ruin my nails. Another customer helped me with my shoes. Usually the nail staff will help at other places I've been too. It was a little embarrassing. My overall experience was a bit disappointing. I would return in the case of an emergency but would probably keep looking for another nail salon.

(Admittedly, they speak English far better than I speak any other language, so certainly no judgment there.) They were happy to communicate via hand signals and facial expressions and they made us feel at ease. The place wasn't overwhelmingly busy but each employee did have a customer at all times. When my toes were done and I paid, I found that I couldn't tip without cash. I didn't have a debit card, so I had to drive to a store to get cash back. My daughter told me that, while I was away, the pedicurist said we didn't have to tip. (I only include that information because it shows how sweet they were.) I absolutely did have to tip. I know they get paid but that's for the job itself. I wanted them to feel appreciated for the special touches they put on my daughter's toes, for their pleasantness, and their color suggestions. The experience was a good one.
