My friend, who works in property management, told me this place has cycled through at least eight different management companies since it was built in 2019. Apparently, the owner, Sairam, only cares about squeezing out as much money as possible. Any company that tries to actually fix problems gets the boot. He's found ways to fire them and pocket more cash. Right now, the place is being "managed" by IKON, which, surprise, surprise, Sairam owns. So, there's basically no real background checks happening. And get this, they're running a bunch of illegal Airbnbs, which are totally against the rules--unless you're Sairam, of course. This place used to be decent when other companies were running it, but now? It's all about filling apartments, no matter who they put in there. You pay for parking, but you might as well park in the dirt for free, because some dirt spots are free. They charge you for package handling and garbage collection, but the place is filthy. The floors are always disgusting, the parking garage is never cleaned, and the stairwells are full of trash, despite what the owner says. It honestly looks like a run-down, low-income building, which is insulting to people who actually live in those types of housing. Someone else mentioned "valet trash" and "clean halls," but that's maybe true for like, 15% of the year. Sure, they take the trash out sometimes, but it's not regular. There were times the entire floor was covered in trash bags, just thrown in the hallway. The smell was awful. Sometimes they'd just dump it in a cart and leave it in the hall or the garage. And it's not safe. There's been a ton of police activity lately. There's no courtesy officer living on site. The garage door into the building doesn't close properly, and one of the keypads is broken, so anyone can just walk in. Why not fix it? Oh, right, because it would cost money. The only good thing about this place is Diana. Everyone loves her, but like everyone else who's worked there, she probably won't last. I'm so glad my friend got out of there. It's gross, it's dangerous, and despite what the website says, there's nothing luxurious about it. The owner only cares about money, and he won't spend a dime to make the property better.

The Avery staff are willing to work with me over changing apartment floor plans after 2 years of being here. They always respond to my emails and I really appreciate that. The clubhouse feels like it was designed by an architect with a modern, sleek final outcomes in mind. The ceilings are highs with visually appealing chandeliers and art work. The club house also has a fitness center with new equipment along with a ping pong table and sitting area. While I thought the apartment complex was brand new, a resident told me that property was about 1.5 years old. These luxury apartments are located at 1701 Wolf Ranch Parkway in Georgetown. The apartment complex features modern one-, two-, and three-bedroom units with upscale finishes like quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Some of the amenities include a resort-style large pool deck with cabanas, a golf simulator, and an onsite pet park. If I was in the market for an apartment, I would definitely consider Varenna Lakeside...super cool property.

The only time they show any urgency is when they see that you've paid your rent on time. Otherwise, they take forever to respond, if they respond at all. Management repeatedly claims they're "not responsible" for anything except collecting a check--one you literally have to hand-deliver to them. They lure you in with the beauty of the complex, but do not be fooled. They do not maintain cleanliness, they are not responsive, and they absolutely do not care about the residents who live here. As a Disabled Veteran, I can say with full conviction that I hope no Soldier ever has to deal with this place. It has been nothing but disappointment and disrespect from day one.
