Updated June 28th: The manager at Bexley reached out to me and apologized for the issues mentioned. The holes in the apartment were patched by the next Friday - still waiting on paint, hopefully that is also being tracked by maintenance and happening soon! The trash around the compactor has been cleared and hopefully the plan is to service it more often - there is still a need for a second unit to keep up with the amount of trash that residents here generate. The stair master machine has been updated with an out of order sign with a reasonable expected fix date. We received a notice on our door today that they'll be powerwashing the walkways and breezeways this week. Everyone I've spoken with from management to maintenance has always been kind and respectful. I do see breakdowns in the processes for maintaining the complex, but I understand that there are limits to how much can be accomplished with a small core team. A lot of issues have been recognized and there are hopes for improvement. I'm updating the rating that I've provided and hope that things will keep improving. I'm glad to see more cleaning and trash removal happening around the complex. At this point I think that a lot of the overlooked or ongoing issues probably have to do with overall processes being used that could be improved to help find and correct issues more quickly. I went to grill chicken the other day at the provided grills, and both the grills had empty propane tanks. An improved process with maintained checklists of amentities and buildings could help with providing a more consistent experience. read more

I have been very happy with the entire staff at the Bexley Silverado in Cedar Park. The office staff is friendly and professional. Any question or concern that I have had they have solved for me in a positive and efficient manner. The maintenance staff as gone over and beyond to make sure that my apartment had all my issues fixed in a timely matter. I have been very impressed with them all. They have been very helpful in all ways. And, my apartment has been quiet and my neighbors have been friendly and respectful of one another. This is a great community! read more

Oh, my goodness. I lived in building 8 for 5.5 years, and I am telling you, if you have a chance to live in any of the units in building 8 - do it! It was the quietest building I have ever lived in. Not once has there been an issue with noise, and I lived on the second floor. No matter the time of day, this place always felt incredibly safe for me (as a 5'0" woman), and it was perfect for my dog and me. The dog park is HUGE, the gym is always clean, and the other amenities always worked great. Another tidbit - there is a hiking trail at the very back of the complex that's a little hidden. This leads to a beautiful walk where you can relax by a creek. Just all-around awesome! :-) I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the interior could definitely use upgrading, especially with the price increases. Another reason is after the 2020 chaos, the upkeep at the dumpster was lacking, and the maintenance requests felt like they were getting taken care of at a much slower rate than usual. I'm rooting for Bexley at Silverado to bounce back, though (definitely invest in a 2nd dumpster). I loved it here! read more

THE WORST!!!!! This is the 3rd time our AC has gone out this year. Pretty sure the temperature outside feels better than inside. From what we were told, we don't even have a maintenance supervisor here anymore. We "borrow" one from another property. And management will not replace any A/C units, they will only repair them. So while it's 100 degrees outside, it's 86 inside and it's Saturday, so our borrowed maintenance supervisor won't even be onsite to look at the issue until Tuesday. Meanwhile, from what we were told it might be the compressor which means we need a whole new unit. How long until that is approved??? One of our maintenance guys who lives onsite has had their A/C out for WEEKS?!?!? The property manager acts like she cares but she doesn't care at all!! The portable unit might say 86 but the temp gauge shows over 91. But that's ok, just wait until Tuesday and MAYBE it can be fixed then?!??! No one reaches out or offers any kind of alternative or compensation. Meanwhile, the lease is going up $200?!!??! read more

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY. moved in to a filthy apartment they apparently had detailed. has of the apartment was broken and took there time to fix after that everything started breaking or falling apart with no intent to replace. instead they just continue to fix until it breaks again week or 2 later. after the winter storm my garage was damaged so they demoed the inside. full of dry wall dust and trash and insulation on everything i had in my garage. I was not able to park my car in my garage because of this my car revived major hail damage. i contact the management team AND THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO AID OR ASSIST IN RESOLVING THE ISSUE AS FAR AS THERE CORPRATE LEADER THEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU OR GIVE YOU A CALL BACK. I just want to thank the leasing staff Madson Sam and Ralpie for their hard work in keeping our community in working order. They are very helpful when u tell them about a problem in the apartment.They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I talked to M on 12/10 when it was quiet. I emailed the office this past Tuesday 12/14 about the barking and no one has contacted me or replied to my email. I'm finished complaining. Someone from the office contacted me a few weeks ago about the noise and told me that they had talked to the neighbors about the noise and to let them know if it continues. It was great for one week and then back to the same crap. It's sad that a resident, especially a cancer patient (who has more important things to worry about) is going to be forced to move but I guess this is just the world we live in now. read more

I just spoke to the property manager Ralph about several maintenance issues I've had at the complex. She was extremely rude and unprofessional and blamed me for their maintenance problems. She stated "I should have moved out sooner if I had a problem." I told her I'd be happy to move if they covered the fees. If it wasn't for their negligence I wouldn't have to move. She also tried to say I missed an appointment with her when I thought she was going to call me. She said I had to come into the office. I'm currently travel nursing and was in Los Angeles at the time of the initial contact with this property manager. When I asked if I could to speak to someone above her she first stated there was no one above her. After asking twice she finally gave me the cooperate number. These apartments are way over priced for what they are worth. The management has gone down hill. The trash compactor, gates, and AC units break all the time. They also filled in the spa, but did not give anyone a reduction on their amenity fees. I can't wait to leave. Do not move here! read more

Bexley At Silverado - Sunday night trash issue. Only one trash compactor - Apartments Near Me - Cedar Park, Texas

I am extremely dissatisfied with Bexley customer service. Given that due to my mistake there was a due of only $200-300 ( rent is paid on time every month) but they gave me only a short notice by a letter in the mail with no phone or email. On top of that they send me a legal notice to vacate through a cop even after clearing all dues. There was no email or no-one called to clarify. We were traveling and didn't checked the mailbox which caused the delay. When I expressed this to the person in the apt office she just said "we cant call or contact all the people". This is an example of the poorest form of customer service. On top of that I made the payment on the 24th but notice of eviction was still issued on 27th and delivered by a cop to me. I was traveling and my family got panicked after receiving the notice of eviction. When I called the Bexley office, they simply said "hey dont worry, just ignore the notice now". I have lived in many apartments in last 20 years and this is the worst customer experience I have ever had considering the rent is paid on time every month and there were dues only of a small amount. Frankly, although I like the apartment but considering the quality of customer service I would not recommend a Bexley property to anyone due to the level of customer service that is offered to the residents. read more

I requested to be notified when maintenance personnel would be entering my home( I'm a single female) once again I entered my home to find that they have been here, to put a fan blowing on my wall. I have lived here for quite awhile now so I guess I like it ok. Overall the complex is maintained fairly well, the office is modern and the self serve lockers are very convenient. However at times the trash gets really piled up as you can see from the photo. Also, there has been an issue with one of my neighbors leaving trash outside their door or near the steps. The lease office has been totally unresponsive to my concerns about it. They shouldn't have a text number if they aren't going to respond to requests. In the past I have frequently asked about speed bumps on the north side of the complex because drivers often go too fast in blind spots while people are walking or crossing at intersections. The east and south sides have numerous ones but none on the north side. Several staff have promised to look into it but never follow through. The staff turnover is extremely high. It seems every other month there is someone being replaced. The manager of the property also changes every 6-9 months it seems. I don't expect this new guy to be here any longer than the rest of the year based on past trends. read more

I've been at Bexley since before it was Bexley and was originally an Altea property. I love living here. The office staff and maintenance crew are really wonderful. If I ever have issues they take care of them right away. The other week I have a break in my toilet that left my bathroom a little flooded. The emergency maintenance guy came over right away to take care of the problem. Unfortunately, they had to replace the toilet, but they did it in a timely fashion. Plus, the office staff know I work nights so they try their best to do any type of repairs after I have woken up. Can't say enough wonderful things about the staff here. I actually love living here. I recently relocated from a larger city to Austin, and we found this place by accident when we were referred here by a sister property. We walked into the apartment, and immediately felt like it was home. The staff was congenial, but not fake at all, and they've been nothing but pleasant to work with ever since. The area surrounding the complex is amazing. Pretty much anything you could want or need is 5-15 minutes away via car at any time. There's family friendly parks nearby, several different shopping centers, movie theaters, and an animal shelter just up the road. Even though it looks like it should be noisy with all that's near by, it's serenely quiet, as in, you can take a walk and forget there's a fairly busy road just outside the gate. Which, by the way, is another great feature. The complex does monthly events to help bring the community together, or even just give you something to do that might be a little different. In July they invited their residents to come to the pool and beat the heat with a Popsicle pool party! Oh right, there's a pool too, and a dog park! The complex is dog friendly, but some breed restrictions do apply. :( They also allow cats, which we were super happy to hear. (For you Pokemon trainers, there's a PokeStop in the back, and the fountain out front is a Gym!) The units themselves come fully stocked with fridge, dish washer, stove/oven, huge tubs with showers, and a washer and dryer included in the unit! We've never had an issue with noise, either being too loud, or hearing our neighbors being too loud. (Occasionally we can hear music through the bathroom vents... but that's been the only sign that there's life in any of the units around us.) This is Cedar park though, so it's just North of Austin. While the area is lovely, it does take you 30-45 minutes to go to Austin proper. We haven't noticed awful traffic, but we've never made the drive during rush hour. If you want to be in the action of the heart of Austin, this isn't where you wanna be. But if you want a home that is Austin-adjacent, then this could work out for you! That being said, we thought we wanted to be in Austin, but found that we would save a lot of money by just moving another 30 minute drive north to this place. It's cheaper than almost all of the other Austin apartments we looked at. And if it is more expensive, then I can almost promise you that it's a higher quality than the cheaper places you'll find in Austin. Simply put, it's cozy, it's comfortable, it's quiet, and it might be worth a look! I know I'd recommend it to anyone looking to relocate. read more

My husband and I's experience at apartment 4204 has been heartbreaking. A month after moving in, I began to experience health problems similar to MS. Numbest, tingling, and all these weird symptoms. I went from emergency room to doctor to emergency room because I kept getting ice pick headaches as well. Fibromyalgia and nerve damage were all on the books on what it could've been. I've had CAT scans and no one could tell me what was wrong with me, until they suggested mold back in November. So I called the office, rather embarrassed to ask, for them to check the vents and the Afor mold. They found none apparently. My husband and I have an 8 month old, and we work 40-60 hours a week and as such, we are not home hardly ever. We come home to sleep, we keep our blinds closed. I lost my full time job due to my health and have all my doctors bills and visits on file. Well I was deep cleaning 2 days before moveout, and low and behold, what do I find? Black mold. In our window. Behind our closed blinds right by where my son and I sleep.... I called the office and they fixed it but Zach was not willing to refund us, since they fixed it.... but I've been with this for months and have had several doctors and all my documentation to back me up. I think the least they could do for us is help pay for our move-out FEES DUE TO EARLY TERMINATION CAUSED BY HEALTH PROBLEMS. I'm sickened by how we have been treated, we almost always paid our rent early and were good tenants. I never had his boss contact me either. I'm so disappointed and distraught about the whole situation. Had the windows been installed correctly originally, this would not have happened. Also we never got a refund or anything in return for all the money we paid for hospital bills due to their bullshit and AGAIN! I DID CALL MANAGEMENT ABOUT THE ISSUE WEEKS BEFORE AND INFORMED KAYLEY THAT THEIR WAS AN ISSUE AND TO INSPECT THE VENTS AND APARTMENT WHICH THEY CLEARLY DID NOT DO. ALSO WHEN IT WAS FIXED WAS THE DAY WE MOVED OUT BECAUSE WE TERMINATED OUR LEASE DUE TO THE HEALTH ISSUES GOING ON AT THE PROPERTY. I want the MANAGER of the property, ABOVE Zach to contact me. The manager of the Yelp account clearly likes to gaslight and not read and is talking about fixing an issue within 24 hours but I had called months earlier. Now you have to do everything on email because it will not be used for you over the phone. You haven't addressed how you keep paying to take down my review??? I'm going to keep posting it. We recently moved in to Bexley at Silverado and I can say without a doubt that this is a great place to live. We came all the way from Missouri so I was communicating with Kyle & Amanda a lot over the past months about making sure everything was done right. They were so helpful and so kind. At times I know I was a pain but they never got frustrated. Now that we live here, we love it. The staff is kind and helpful. The complex is clean. The pool is amazing. My only complaint would be that we don't have a place to get rid of big boxes or things that shouldn't go in the compactor at the complex. I know there are places outside of the complex we can take them but that can be a hassle. Overall, I love it here & I hope to continue leasing for many more years to come. I thought Altea was meh ok management, not the best, not the worst. When Bexley took over , my lease was coming to an end but due to Altea not fixing things, I presented them to Megan. The stain i had to live with in my closet was again attempted to be removed, but when they could not, they did the right thing and replaced it. The garbage disposal kept clogging up and breaking so they replaced that. HOWEVER, and this is WHY I LEFT BEXLEY and moved to a different apartment complex.......... my bathtub squeaked really loud. You know the kind I'm talking about, the plastic ones. When I made a condition that I would stay and allow them to raise my rent like they did with everyone else, Megan point blank told me and I quote "it's not a matter of life or death, I understand it's annoying but it still works, so we are still raising your rent and we will not be fixing your bathtub." First of all let me state, I am a model renter. I always pay my rent two weeks in advance, never make loud noise, i mind my own business yet i look out for my neighbors and I try to never call them unless its an obvious repair needed. But this attitude was why i moved. She didn't even ask if I would like a different apartment, and seemed totally uncaring about my situation. It creaks so loud, the downstairs neighbors could hear me taking a shower every morning. If you need a hard nosed lawyer type of manager, well Megan certainly has the right man parts to be that person. But customer service goes a long ways. Empathy is a word I believe she needs to learn. Overall, I liked my apartment, great view and I never had any problems, but an uncaring attitude was my main reason for leaving. P.S. Erica is a sweetheart, very pleasant at all times, professional and acts like she cares about her tenants. I believe she is an assistant manager. In my opinion, she should be the manager because she knows how to make the tenant feel important. read more

The leasing manager here, Aerica Carter, is so incredibly rude it is mind blowing. Fortunately, I made a full audio recording of my interaction with her that I can share with anyone, including her bosses at corporate. In this recording, Aerica refuses to listen to me and inadvertently admits that they never began a rent negotiation process I requested earlier like they said they did - she becomes angry and defensive in the recording when she realizes that I caught her in a lie. Such a defensive and angry person with no people skills should frankly NOT DEAL WITH PEOPLE. Internalized misogyny is also evident in her dealings with me as I have to repeat myself and explain something five different ways, yet she still doesn't listen to me (I think it actually took 15 minutes for her to even understand what I was saying). However, when my husband pipes up and explains the situation, she listens to him. She also refused to accommodate my work schedule when I asked to meet with her, forcing me to take unpaid time off work and, when I questioned her as to why she can't schedule meetings around residents' work schedules she said WELL I'M WORKING NOW TOO and laughed at me derisively. I think she thought this was an intelligent remark - but it just came off as idiotic and insensitive. Of course she's working now but is she doing her JOB? Part of her job is to help and serve residents who pay her sizable salary - is she doing this? No! She's just serving her corporate overlords by wringing out every last cent from residents that she can. When her junior employee continuously made mistakes in dealing with me when I requested a negotiation on my rent (which was going up almost 200 dollars from one year to the next), it was clear that they were exhausting all available methods to avoid negotiating, although they used to negotiate with residents in the past (read past reviews). When I asked this same employee to give me a 2 month extension on my lease because I was worried about a job offer out of state and didn't want to end up breaking my lease she gave me the extension without informing me that, if I decided to stay at the complex after the extension, my NEW rental rate would be based on the extension rate and not on my original rate. They never drew up a lease or any kind of paper document for the extension and, when I asked them about this and the implications for this being legally binding, they said WE DON'T HAVE TO GENERATE A NEW LEASE FOR YOU based on the extension. How is this legal? Such careless, mindless work is shameful and strains the bounds of belief. Then, when I sent an email seeking to negotiate my huge increase in rent, the junior employee straight up ignored me and later claimed she never received my email. Afterward, I sent another email reminding her that I wanted to negotiate. When I asked her why I was being repeatedly ignored and why irrelevant emails were being sent to me, she said oh well we're short staffed and I have a ton of residents to manage. Such feelings of being overwhelmed can be easily managed with better organizational skills and usage of data tracking tools. It was only when I repeatedly reminded these two employees of my desire to negotiate and went to talk to them in the office (twice) did they finally agree to negotiate - the result being that they are no longer negotiating rent with people. Having an increase of almost 200 dollars in rent when you've only been living there for a year is LUDICROUS and the apartments certainly are not worth that much money - they have old, dirty carpet which they will refuse to convert to plank flooring, even if you ask, and washers and dryers that have about 10 years of wear and tear on them - they will DESTROY your clothes and the dryer needed to be run about 2-3 times just to dry all of my clothes. I asked them repeatedly to fix the dryer and they never did. This place is utterly ridiculous and is run by CORPORATE CRETINS who look at you like you're a walking ATM. STAY AWAY. read more

We just moved to Cedar Park, and living in The Bexley at Silverado apartments have been great. It has a good gym, a great pool and hot tub that seats like 12 people. It is quiet, and close to shopping areas and many restaurants. The schools are excellent. The maintenance crew is prompt when needed. The front office has been fantastic. Don't bother moving here if you need any sort of assistant animal. They will make your situation so complicated and drag it out until they try and force you to pay the fees that do not have to be paid if the animal is a service or emotional support animal or tell you you can't have your animal if you don't pay the fees. Which might i add, for ONE animal is $500 deposit plus $15 a month. Even with a doctors note and 3 different forms filled out trying to get further information that is not needed, they will still try and make you pay the fees and then threaten to fine if you don't. Sucks for the people who actually need assistant animals and cannot have them or is delayed because of such a difficult staff and property director. They switch out staff on you so the people who know your situation and have previously given permission for something, the new staff has no idea about and says something way different. No I would not recommend this apartment to people that choose to live on 1st or 2nd floor who cannot tolerate some sort of noise level due to poor building structure where a young manager cannot approach complaints/violations maturely. Any management company that hires a young 20'ish year old community manager speaks volume. At that age, they are still very inexperienced especially when dealing with many resident issues/complaints. Yes, they might know the TAA Lease front and back but real life situations when dealing with a lot of people, NO they do not need to be managers just yet. To put it simply, I love living here. I am a college student and I also work full time, but I am often traveling due to family reasons. Anytime I have an issue I can always rely on Kimberly and the maintenance team to get it taken care of. Kimberly is always friendly and personal no matter what time of day is, and it's always a pleasure to talk to her!! When ever I have a work order in place the maintenance team is always quick to get it taken care of! My air conditioner went out when I came home one evening - and I didn't think it was considered an emergency which it is so they could have taken care of it that night. I Recommend Bexley Silverado To any one looking in area .Pet friendly Location,school,shopping centers are with then a 5-10 min from the complex . The Staff is awesome although it's always a new face at the front office. Maintenance team is always on top of things last week they power washed my building , I love the 24/7 service and they do come out at night.(A/C out 11:00pm) My only complaint would be the walls are super tin it amplifies the noise,dog owners don't pick up after their dogs. but what can you do? We liked living at Bexley while we were waiting for our house to finish being built. The reason I am giving 1 star, is because when we originally spoke to them about moving in, we told them that we needed a short lease because we were waiting for our house to be done being built and told them we were stuck on choosing a 2 month or 3 month lease. We ended up choosing a 3 month lease just to be on the safe side, as our expected date of closing was the end of October. So on October 11, we received an email about a lease renewal. I have 2 toddlers and had JUST given birth a couple weeks prior so as you can imagine, I was busy and sleep deprived, so I put the email off for a few days because I figured it wasn't a big deal because as I mentioned, we had told them our reason for only needing a 3 month lease. I replied on October 17th and told them I was putting in our notice and in turn, was told that we were responsible for our apartment until DECEMBER 17th! We closed on our house October 31st and our apartment still hasn't been leased, so on top of our mortgage as first time home owners, we now owe money for an apartment we don't even live in. The property manager, Kayley, could care less when I told her back in October that it was a bit ridiculous that they expected a 60 day notice of when we were moving out even though we had explained our reason for a short lease prior to signing a contract or anything & especially because it only takes them a week or two to get an apartment ready to put back on the market, so it boggles my mind on why they need SIXTY days to be notified of a tenant moving out. The other guy i spoke to a couple weeks ago didn't care much to help us out either. He basically said that the bright side for us is that after December 17th we would no longer have to worry about paying for the apartment....that isn't exactly a bright side since we have a mortgage, but nice try! The only person that has been the least bit helpful is the lady I have been in contact with at the Weinstein Property office. In my opinion, Bexley doesn't care about their tenants, just about getting that rent money, no matter your situation! If you plan on getting a 2 month lease here, I guess you need to make sure you give your 60 day notice the day you get your keys! read more

Watch for move out charges. They told me things looked good on a walk-through then charged me 849 dollars for carpet.

So I lived here when Altea turned into Belexy at Silverado and I cannot describe the frustration I've had since the management switched. I have had their management knocking on my door at 12:30am because of a "noise complaint". At the time I was sleeping and didn't hear the door but my friend (who is a girl) was in the living room watching tv, got scared that there was a random dude knocking on our door and turned the balcony light off so they would leave. The next morning, management called me and told me they had to write me up because I was being too loud & ignored the guy who came to tell us to keep the noise down. He also saw that the light turned off so they accused me of intentionally ignoring them. This is not the only incident like this. It's getting so bad I'm doing everything in my power to get my lease made shorter so I can leave ASAP. I am a girl also & it gives me great anxiety to have a random man knocking on my door past midnight while I'm sleeping and not doing anything wrong. If I can't hear the tv in the living room from my bedroom there's no way my neighbors could have. If you want to live a happy relaxed life I can't stress enough NOT move here. You will regret it. read more
