If you are NOT local, order in advance and use your hotel as the local address. You have to time your visit as their pick up dates and times are random. Or maybe it was random for us because it was memorial weekend. Email seems to be the best form of communication. They respond very quickly. Price - $27.66 for only 8oz; expensive but you get what you pay for. Plus we are buying for our good friends. If you are reading this, I just spoiled the surprise... Or am I just too predictable anyways??? Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2003/2004. Stay safe and hope you open up your storefront soon. I suggest adding drop down menus for designated dates and times for customers to pick up during their ordering process. We had to order and pay first because not having any idea when my order would be ready to pick up. We emailed you to find a designated time, but it might be helpful to add it during the checkout stage so customers know how fast it can be ready and plan our/your schedule. I would hate to have to pay for coffee beans and choose "local pickup" and it was not ready before our flight back home.

This coffee shop is on Baldwin Ave in Makawao and the inside is pretty large with lots of seating. They also have a display case with baked goods over by where you order. After looking over the menu I ultimately decided on one of their specials, a cherry vanilla latte, which I don't think I have seen before in a coffee. After only a couple of minute wait, I had my latte and was out the door. My coffee here ended up tasting really good, almost like a cherry vanilla ice cream. The cherry flavor came first and that was followed by the sweet vanilla. While I know the coffee was there, it got lost a bit with the cherry vanilla flavoring. Still, I enjoyed it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. A cherry vanilla latte is a new combo for me, but I enjoyed it and only wish the espresso was a bit more pronounced.

Naturally, I did not pick up the order. The cashier then walked over and said this is your drink to me and said macadamia nut latte. The barista told her it was a vanilla latte. So the cashier looked confused. Then took the drink away then a minute later came back with the exact same cup and said here's your mac nut latte. The barista looked confused. I was over it and just took it. The drink was great. I didn't taste much vanilla or macadamia. There was great coffee flavor. But then I realized there was barely any coffee and just mostly ice.
