Went to Aunt Jenny's in Morningside for a quick lunch. It is a newer Chinese spot located south of the Columbia campus along Broadway, where a few other Asian businesses have recently opened, including a Japanese grocery store and an H Mart. They offer very affordable lunch deals. I got one base and two sides for $12 plus tax. There are a number of protein and vegetable options to choose from. I went with steamed brown rice, hot and sour soup with tofu, and sesame chicken. The rice was good, fresh, and felt like a healthy option. The hot and sour soup was very good and flavorful. The sesame chicken was decent, although it was a little overcooked. Service was quick and easy, almost Chipotle-style, where you move down the line and choose your items. The space itself is open, clean, and the staff were helpful. If you are looking for a quick and inexpensive lunch in the area, I would recommend it.

Came here several times, it was really good!!!Affordable and delicious!

We were seated quickly, and the service was attentive. I ordered the agua de sandía (watermelon juice) and the Baja crispy fish taco, while my friend got two tacos. The watermelon juice was refreshing, and fresh, without added sugar. The tacos were flavorful and enjoyable, and I appreciate that they are served on corn tortillas. We were also given complimentary chips and salsa. I've visited several Tacombi locations across NYC, and they are consistently reliable in both quality and experience. The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food. I would definitely recommend this location, as well as any of their others.

Around 6pm all tables were taken; lots of families dining! We were told 15-25 minutes for a table but I'm not even sure we waited 5 minutes. We definitely waited longer for someone to take our order, which wound up being the hostess. Based on the service we received (barely any throughout our entire meal), it seems this location would be better suited for ordering at a counter, seating yourself and having your number called when food is ready (or brought to you). The taco Tuesday special is BOGO with cheaper tacos taken off bill. I had the Al pastor, crispy fish and barbacoa, which was a special collaboration (and the most expensive at $7.99). They have a good kid's menu. Much improved from when I was here years ago and the food was too spicy for kids. I ordered a michelada; it's $3 more than the price of the beer you choose. I was a little suspicious of what it might taste like when brought to the table. Whatever they use to make the michelada was brown. It wound up tasting pretty good.

It's definitely a convenient spot no matter the time of day. The menu has a little bit of everything such as pastries, coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, soups and even gluten free options. They also serve beer and wine, which I wasn't expecting. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice. The setup is mostly DIY since you throw away your own garbage and etc. But they do bring your food and drinks out to you. They also have a restroom for customers and a self serve tap water station with glasses, which I appreciated. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. It was alright, but I do think it could've used a little more flavor or seasoning.
