I recently purchased a vehicle from Walter's Audi Dealership in Riverside. I wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately I was in a car accident a couple of weeks ago and my Audi was totaled. With that being said, I was forced to purchase another vehicle. However, my experience at this dealership was excellent. All of the staff at this dealership are well educated people. I did not feel uncomfortable at any point of this transaction. Originally I had made a trip up the dealership to test drive the vehicle with my daughter to ensure I liked the vehicle I saw online which was a 2019 Q5. However, my husband wanted to come with me the following day to test drive the car himself. After both of us driving the car we decided to proceed with the purchase. We were met with Joshua Johnson. This gentleman was exquisite. He handled our transaction perfectly. He assisted us with the test drive and educated us on the various aspects of the car. He is also a very genuine person. He was not the typical salesman. He has excellent communication skills and exceptional customer service abilities. I would highly recommend this gentleman to anyone I know. My Audi Q8 stalled on the highway on Monday and today is Wednesday I just got the diagnosis, the part of course is not available, and to top things off they have no loaner vehicles for me, it is a leased car. The manager had the nerve to tell me a loaner is a courtesy, when my brand new leased car broke down on me. My very first experience with Walter's Audi was in 2016 when I purchased a Q7, Sayed Ali was our sales representative and the moment he approached us, we knew we were in good hands; it was like we were old friends. This was the same experience when I moved to the A5 Sport back in 2018 and again a few days ago with the shift to the E-tron Quattro; Sayed has been there every step of the way. He is patient, kind, and takes his time to make sure you are truly happy and comfortable with your vehicle. I stopped by yesterday to ask a question about charging the vehicle, he stopped what he was doing walked me over to the charge station showed me the process again, and let me charge the vehicle before I head out to run errands; a small example of the way he cares. We purchased a Used A6 last Friday. Overall the dealer has a great selection of used and pre owned newer Audi's in excellent condition. The price was right and the car was very well maintained, original sales person wasn't too pushy but showed us the 3 cars we wanted to look at and handled the sale and numbers well. Be prepared to get hassled* On to the finance side, yes that's right, even if you are preapproved and everything on your end is good to go they pass you off to the finance manager. Here is where I have the issue. Rob and Andy both are very aggressive sales men and will make you feel guilty if you refuse the extended warranty. Rob will tell you things are included in the extended warranty that aren't such as paint and interior protection and sneak it into the contract for $900 additional. Then they will start high and slowly keep on lowering the price of the warranty until you finally just give in. It's really a poor experience all and all and took away from the exciting feeling of buying a new car. We spent the first weekend with the ride in anguish as we couldn't get over the fact that we were charged $4300 extra for warranty products that seemed like gimmicks. After a few phone calls and back and forth visits we were able to get the $4300 in warranties and care plan removed but what ended up originally being a 2 hour process turned into a 3 day ordeal. Would I buy a car from them again? Yes, but I would strictly refrain from dealing with their finance department. Rob and Andy are both greedy salesman who work off commission and will lie to you to get you to buy their additional product. Only reason for 3 starts is for the rest of the team who were polite and ultimately how the dealer made good on re doing contracts to fix the issues. Even so, one of the finance managers looked absolutely pissed when I told him I wanted to cancel the warranty and went to resign final contacts. I'll put the $4300 into a separate car care account for any issues that arise. read more

I wish I could give ZERO STARS! I bought dome brake pads for my car, I sold the car and wanted to return the sealed, unused brake pads to Walter's Audi in Riverside, where I bought them. I live an hour away, so I made sure to call 1st to ensure that they would return the brake pads. I called the Parts department and spoke to Raul. Raul said he would have to ask his Manager. He put me on hold and did just that. He took me off of hold and said that there would be no problems returning the brake pads. I drove an hour just to be told that they wouldn't return the sealed, unused brake pads, with the shipping sticker proving that they were purchased at that Dealership! Awful customer service! Extremely poor work is performed here at Walter's Audi when it comes to the service department. I purchased a 2014 Audi A6 from here and their service departments customer service is abysmal. The one redeeming quality of this dealership was my service advisor Alex Ortiz. While Alex always withheld professionalism while the mechanics had made severe errors when repairing my car Alex always did his best in his abilities to help reprimand the situation. Alex no longer is with Walters Audi anymore unfortunately so I'll go elsewhere, I've had good experiences at Audi Fletcher Jones. The issues at Walter's lies within the management and the limitations they put on assisting the customer when they mess something up (which happens frequently, at least to me) and their unwillingness to help the customer in the manor they have requested. They would rather save a couple bucks on their mess up and leave the customer unsatisfied. While the car was under warranty the turbo went out, fine under warranty, Walter's Audi puts in a new turbo, okay.... The second time I go to get on the freeway after picking up the car the engine shuts down.... I restart the car and it's limited to 50mph. I drive it straight back to Walter's. I was told they improperly installed the turbo causing the waste gate to be stuck closed exposing the turbo to extreme pressure which lead to the computer shutting it down. Okay fine, they install it "properly" this time and it starts to make a watery noise that sounds like a leak. This come with intermittent loss of power. I tell Walter's and they claim it's normal. A couple days go by and I'm on my way to a wedding then my catalytic converter falls out from underneath my car..... I had it towed back to Walter's where they tell me the clip wasn't installed after they fixed the turbo, so they throw my all scratched up catalytic converter back onto my car. They still claimed that the leaking noise was normal. This has been ongoing for a long time and I complain about it almost every time I went back. I even had the turbo throw a code, I scanned it myself and saw the code. When I went back they claimed there was no code and "I must have cleared it" but the light was on when I dropped it off. Then they claimed I was out of warranty and drove to many miles there was nothing they could do even though I complained about it from the start. Walters Audi has damaged my vehicle and can't just own up to their mistakes. Never compensated for the all of my time they have wasted. So don't waste yours and go do a different dealership other than any of the Walters Audi. read more

This was my first experience buying an Audi and the 3rd time purchasing a vehicle in general. I was originally helped by Javier Orozco, he was very helpful and enthusiastic. He genuinely wanted to help me get a vehicle. He kept reaching out to me regarding different cars that I may be interested in (after the original car I was interested in was sold) eventually he let me know right away once they took delivery of an S3 that fit my needs and kept me updated on it until it finally hit the lot. Next I dealt with Tamas Pinter, (Javiers partner) who closed the deal for us. Tamas took me on a detailed run through of the car and the features. He went the extra mile to get us the best deal possible and was very transparent, even bringing the Manager Angel in to tell us the numbers in person. I literally searched Audi dealerships across the country for a specific model. From his first email, Joshua Rambow was already laying his cards on the table with not only a price quote, but one that was well below any other dealer's. The car at Riverside actually had more features than I was looking for but not all the right features I was looking for. With the initial email, Joshua recorded a custom video for me showing the car and its features. It was so thoughtful, I wished this was the car that I wanted. I kept a dialogue with Josh and continued searching. I found the car I was looking for at another dealer and got them to agree to a price similar to Josh's - note that this car had less overall features so Josh's price was still better. The guy there was intermittently responsive and didn't answer the exact questions I asked: this was the common response I would get from other dealerships. I went back to Josh and asked for a list of all charges I could expect on my bill of sale. Without one question or interjection, he responded with all costs, tax, title, and fees, itinerized. He had built up so much trust that I only wanted to buy a car from him. Dealing with someone I trust was ultimately more important than having all the exact features I wanted. When I ultimately purchased the car from Josh, all prices and charges, included interest rate, were exactly as we had previously discussed. There were no surprises. I later found out that Josh's goal is to make the car-buying process as painless as possible. He succeeded. read more

This was probably my worst "car buying" experience I have ever had, and I've had MANY.  I called Sunday evening and spoke to Jessica who confirmed the vehicles availability and price with me (Honda Fit $10,998), but because it was nearing closing time I opted to call the next day to make an appointment.  Upon checking your website to insure availability the next morning, I noticed the price of the vehicle had increased by $4,000 ($14,998). I called once more and again spoke to Jessica. She, first confirmed the vehicle was still available, and next checked on the price. I was told that "due to market volatility the prices are often changing", however if I was still interested the manager would honor yesterday's price.  I appreciated it and took the next available appointment which was only 30 minutes from when I was calling and was set to meet with a manager, Eric.  After arriving for my appointment and checking in, I was asked to wait as Eric was busy.  I waited. After a bit, I asked if I could at least look at the vehicle while I was waiting. A salesperson pointed me in the direction of the used units on the lot, no Honda Fit.  I came back to let them know the vehicle was not there. After several minutes a salesperson came to inform me the vehicle had been sold.  Not ONCE did the manage Eric even come to introduce himself for his own appointment, or offer an apology or explanation. But I find it suspicious that even after confirming it's availability twice just before my appointment it wasn't until after the price had increase that unit was "sold".  An enormous waste of my time. Poor representation of your dealership and Audi as a brand. All around just utterly unprofessional. read more

This was on a Saturday night after 9 pm and got a response back with an answer right away. I was very impressed with such promptness. Todd was friendly, knowledgeable, professional--no BS. After a few emails on Sunday, went into the dealership to finalize the transaction on Monday, traveling 100 miles to do so. The negotiating was handled in a respectful manner. Man, there's definitely no shortage of testosterone around here with the sales guys... with their puffed out chests and minimal customer service skills to even say hello. I dropped off 2 A4's to have recalls taken care of by service. I forgot the name of our advisor, but he was nice enough and got both cars done the next day. The next day when we picked up was a little weird too. It took about 15 minutes to get our cars brought up and once I told the porter that they were our cars, he made us go back to the service cashier with him for her to say OK and get us our keys... uhhh...
