Just the sign inside the restaurant

Okay let's start with the good... It's within walking distance of the auburn university campus. Now the rest... the place has a vibe of Texas Roadhouse but in a poorly imitated way. It's one of those places where you'd go if you can't get into one of your first 5 choices. I won't be too hard on them after all it is a college town. The service wasn't stellar and kind of expected with just past college age folks doing the wait service. It wasn't crowded but there were enough butts in the seats to make one think the food was pretty good. Unfortunately that was the furthest from the truth! The chips were straight out of a bag and the beer cheese was the worse thing ever! Now tell me why you would put cheese in a dish and pour beer in it? I was expecting cheese with a hint of beer flavor- Nooo, you dip a chip and all you got back was a beer soaked chip! Nasty just straight Nasty needless to say it didn't get eaten. On to the truly POOR boy - 5 small previously frozen shrimp (wtf ) come on now, I've been to Norleans and what I got was a Poor boi. I should have gotten the salad. It's a good thing I had a rental and was able to find some palatable food outside the campus area. It's sad when the food isn't even Meh...

Wife and I came here randomly for lunch. Merri was our server, she was wonderful. We started outside for the appetizer and drinks then moved inside for the pizza (rain was threatening). The sweet potato fries were fantastic. My Old Fashion was perfect. She tried a local brewed beer and she gave it a thumbs up. We split a small pizza and got the "All the Meat" pizza. It was good as well. Certainly worth the stop.

This restaurant is very "what you see is what you get". I'm sure it would be a great experience for game days, but otherwise it's nothing to run and tell home about. I ordered the Pest Chicken Sandwich. The fries were extremely salty and the sauce was mediocre. My table also ordered the chips and salsa and the hummus. The chips and salsa was tasty, but the hummus was a no go. The service was definitely prompt, but I can go without the food.

As alumni and former residents of Auburn, my friends and I came into town for a basketball game. The town changes so much nowadays, it is really hard to keep up. So we wanted to make sure we got into town early, check out everything and get something to eat. Rolling in from 280, we thought it would be nice to walk through downtown and see all of the new spots popping up. Ultimately, we decided to grab a drink downtown and eat a little closer to the arena as game time was getting closer. With 17/16 not open yet (I forget how my old mind might think it would be at 5 o clock), we decided to check out Auburn Draft House. I never saw it before. But they had a small patio and it was a really nice day. So that's where we decided to post up. The service was good and efficient. Their beer selection was not the best I've seen. But they did have a lot of good choices. For the purpose we needed it for, that part was served. Nothing out of the ordinary great. Just a solid visit to a new (to me) Auburn establishment.

went to this place, music is loud and food and beer selection is not good. no samples offered. you get a recommendation, it may suck you still pay. if you ask they do not know the differences between the types of beers. their wings taste like domino's before domino's redid their wings because no one bought them. each win is 1 inch long.

Where does one begin? We dropped in to the Draft House on a regular summer Wednesday night. Summer in this town means we can park in front of the building on the first pass (pay to park deck and lot available in back). The restaurant was full-ish with a blend of demographics (not all college students). We were promptly seated and offered drinks by our friendly server, Tony. As you'd expect, broad variety of beer available and wine, too. Surprise! Wednesday night is $5/bottle wine and Bingo starts at 8:30. The mood was festive (see $5 bottles of wine) and pub-noisy. We placed our orders ~ a beer cheese steak sandwich, Not Your Momma's (grilled) chicken sandwich, and chicken marsala. Pretty much standard pub fare (but no fish and chips. This isn't London.) We watched the Olympics on the multiple screens while we waited for our food. And waited. And watched. And waited. And watched (three different event finals and medals!) And waited. Finally our food came! (Did you get that it took a minute?) Thankfully, the food was hot and yummy. I'm not sure if this is a good thing, but we crossed the 8:30 pm mark. BINGO!!! I think there were some Bingo regulars there ~ some with team shirts (I kid you not.) One group of enthusiastic ladies swore they were only there for one Bingo round. We left in Round 2 and they were going strong (see $5 wine). Bingo caller was lots of fun. All in all a fun, filling, and tasty meal. If I lived here, this might be a good place to meet people. Everyone seemed kind and friendly. I'm not sure I would start with the Bingo team, though. [Full disclosure: I think it was a billiards/bowling team who hit up the House to close out their night.]

We are Texans visiting this beautiful town ans this place did it for us! Great and friendly staff, Delish food (I had the mama's chicken) and nice decor. I don't know when we will be visiting again but we will be sure to stop here!

The draft menu was fantastic! The food menu had many options, and tasted great! The best part was the service, they were super helpful and patient given that we had a party of 12.

Rude bartender. Very slow and unattentative. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Their food is mediocre and service is terrible.

The food was good and price was okay. The service could've been better. But they hire mostly college kids, so I cant ask for too much.

Atmosphere is spot on when it comes to an Irish pub. (Last summer we were in Ireland, taking part in many a Guinness and other things in various pubs.) We had a wonderful waitress...and I'm sad we can't remember her name. A lady in her 40s or 50s. She was super attentive, nice and welcoming. Wait time wasn't long, everything came out quickly. Our family group had burgers, shrimp and grits and a Sheppard's pie (actually a cottage pie). We also shared an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. The portions are large and almost all of us took another full meal home when all was said and done. Tasted great, we just couldn't finish it all! The location is nice too, lots to do down that strip. As for costs, it was on par with other places with the same food quality. If you're in town, this place is a must!

A big deal was made that we would not be charged for it. A couple of us went with the grouper over jambalaya special. The fish was fantastic with a light, fried crust. Everything else was stone cold. The restaurant was a bit chaotic and our server was not to be seen so I finished most of the fish before being asked if I was enjoying my meal. We did not eat the cold side.

I ordered their Gambler Burger, smash patties, piled with onions, mustard, pickled green tomatoes, bacon jam, and jalapeño aioli. And huge bonus--they take reservations, which makes planning a night out so much easier in this area. Zazu is a true local gem. Amazing burgers, great drinks, and even better people. We tried a variety of dishes, and while some stood out, others left us a bit puzzled--especially the poutine. It came out cold and the flavor just wasn't there. We weren't really sure what direction they were going with it. On a more positive note, the shrimp and grits were pretty good. I just wish there had been a few more shrimp to round out the dish. The mahi was probably my favorite--it was cooked well, had a nice kick of spice, and was full of flavor. As a mushroom lover, I was excited to try the portobello mushroom appetizer. It was decent, but the sauce and overall flavor could've used a little more finesse. I did enjoy trying the beers on tap--especially the IPAs. Great variety and a fun touch for a casual dinner.
