The guys at the counter were very helpful when I showed them what I was looking to do, made some suggestions to the type of wood I should use, etc. I purchased a few more hardware items while I was there. I picked up my cut lumber a couple days later and it was exactly what I asked for. Unfortunately I gave them one wrong dimension and when I called, they said they could recut the wood for me (they just had to trim some off the existing pieces). I also ordered some cabinet pieces from them, and if I need lumber cut for another project, I will definitely go back there.

Other contractors we've had in the home (from plumbers to electricians) have left messes for us to clean up or failed to show up when promised. McCuin didn't do any of that. The Harman they sold us has been an amazing stove that's given us no problems over the years. It heats the entire house and has virtually eliminated our need to rely on more expensive propane. The wood stove we have in the basement and the pellet stove in our living room has been more than enough. After this very long, cold winter, it started making a horrible squealing noise on Monday, fingernails on the chalkboard bad, and they had someone out within a day to look at it. The same guy who installed it came out and fixed it. Turned out a bearing in the auger was going. That they had the part on the truck and fixed it right there and then definitely impressed us. If you're looking for a pellet stove, I have nothing but high praise for the guys at McCuin and highly recommend them.

Shortly after install the washer was malfunctioning. It was shaking so badly that anything on to went flying. I called Samsung. After weeks of waiting I was told that there are no service providers in our area. No service for two brand new machines! I called the store. They called Samsung. I started going to the laundromat. I called a regular service company in the area who came right out. They said that the bracket that holds the drum in place was broken and no parts were available for Samsung machines. Back to the store and Samsung. Home Depot would not exchange the machines for an alternate brand. Long story short Samsung finally found a new identical machine. Delivery 8 months later. Not two months later new machine same thing. I call Home Depot. The manager of the Williston VT store dismisses me like a bothersome child. Call Samsun. Do you have a direct number? No. Why does Home Depot still carry a brand that you know does not have service? She said, "Lots of stores do that." I asked how Home Depot can charge hundreds of dollars for en extended warranty that can not be used? She said, "Call Samsung." After explaining that we have been customers of Home Depot for over 30 years and am extremely disappointed, she said in the most dismissive way possible, "Is there anything else?" They were two to $3000 apiece and they've not lasted anymore than a year when I go to have the other refrigerator removed by the people who are delivering this refrigerator the delivery people refused to take it away. I was told that if I called got junk, they would reimburse it , it's been since July. And I'm not allowed to talk to the management staff here now simply because I reported them to the attorney generals office for fraud since I have had to be here so many times I'm still not been paid back for this, I have been in the store now. They have not done it STILL. The fact that they won't even hold up their end of the agreement. (we were told at every step we would be paid back for one 800 got junk now they're saying we think we should be paid back and they're saying that they didn't say we would be paid) this is exploitative. I can't go elsewhere because when they're appliances fail, they send you a gift card to Lowe's. I spoke to the corporate office many times each time not only was I told we would be paid back in an overnight check. I also would receive 40 and $50 gift certificates for my inconvenience. My inconvenience has yet to end. It's now October 5th this incident was in July. I have been there so many times this is insane and I am hell hostage by them. I can't go somewhere else because they sell me a useless appliance and then they give me a gift card to pay me back so I'm stuck.

I went all winter and spring with windows that were installed and not properly sealed or finished. Two doors they drilled holes through incorrectly, and many other issues. They contract with a company called integrity first that does the installations. Between calling the Lowe's installation support 800 number and the integrity first 800 number to try and resolve the issue and get the job finished, Ive spent countless hours on the phone explaining what's going on to different people in different parts of the country who don't care and say they'll call back, but they never do. It's a mess. The worst experience. I spent so much money on this job and my house is in worse shape then before due to water leaking in from the half done install. Don't support this company!
