He was very angry and seemed to take it out on me. Every POS system has a way to do a manual discount - they could still sell it to me so could have manually taken the discount. Management doesn't know what they're doing and is very rude to customers. No more loyalty from me.

You can generally find your basic stuff but often times they won't have the item(s) you want in stock. You could avoid the hassle and head directly to Ace Hardware up the road where they have a bigger selection and is better stocked. Service is kinda iffy and it depends on staffing. If you happen to get the long term staff, they are friendly and nice. But if you get the new crew who are young and uncaring, you'll get the short end of the stick.

I see how laid back Hannon Home Center is and the inventory they stock and the service they provide and it leaves me scratching my head why people deal with the big box stores. Both Rhonda and Bill are nice, easy to deal with and I really enjoy being able to buy locally. I'm very pleased they are so close, I think they run a first class business.

Slate is definitely one of those stores. I stopped in on Christmas Eve just to browse around and I wish I could have bought everything in the place! It is a pretty hipster little store, and everything inside would be both useful to have in your home and serve as a conversation starter with guests. The items are unique, interesting, and high quality. There are kitchen gadgets, bar cart fixings, home decor items, greeting cards, jewelry...the list goes on. It's a great store and fits well with the Church Street aesthetic.

I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with this flooring company…read more They have now failed to deliver my flooring on three separate occasions after repeatedly assuring me it would arrive. Every missed delivery has forced me to reschedule my installer, and each delay has cost me thousands of dollars in non-refundable deposits and scheduling fees. Their lack of reliability has turned what should have been a straightforward project into a stressful and expensive nightmare. What makes it even worse is the poor communication and complete lack of accountability. Instead of providing honest updates or realistic timelines, I was repeatedly given promises that were never kept. At no point did anyone seem to understand or care about the financial impact their failures were having on me. If your project depends on materials arriving when promised, I would look elsewhere. A company that can't honor delivery commitments, communicate honestly, or take responsibility for the costs they cause their customers simply doesn't deserve your business. My experience has been incredibly frustrating, expensive, and completely unacceptable.
