Little stuff, a couple of screws for a bed, some doorknob set screws and some brackets for my storm door. Put simply, he didn't have what I needed (fine) and told me what he had (also fine). When I asked questions about the specs on the screws he had vs what I needed, he was just nasty and unhelpful. I was simply trying to understand the difference between the metric screws I had and the "quarter 20s" he had! He acted like I was a pain in the neck and he didn't have time to bother with my little stuff that would have generated only $10 of revenue (store was virtually empty). I want to use local businesses, not the big home store retailers. I have plenty of reasons to go to a local hardware store, say 2 times a month. But this store will NEVER get my business, large or small. At least the dolts at Lowe's and The Home Depot are willing to answer simple questions with patience rather than pique. No wonder small hardware stores are disappearing! This one could not disappear soon enough.

Our pellets arrived Saturday when both my husband and I were away from the house. My husband left a note on where to drop the 3 tons of pellets we had ordered. We were hoping they could get them around to our double doors leading to our basement to make moving the pellets easier on us. Not only did they get them to the back doors they got them so close that we just had to open the doors and move the pellets, but the delivery driver was respectful of our lawn and not to tear it up. Dave, Ched, Phil and the rest of the crew over at United Ag have made an excellent impression on…read moreme. Last year I purchased a collection unit for my z915e and it did not work well. Come to find out the boot for the deck that was installed with the collection unit was improper, I mentioned it a few times to the sales man who showed no care. After duct taping it and running it all last year I dwelled on it all winter. When spring rolled around I decided to call United ag and spoke with Phil whom is not the salesman I originally dealt with, he had me bring the mower down so he could see what was going on. Upon looking at the mower Phil and a tech decided it's not the correct boot, they got with the service manager found the proper part, got it in, installed it and took care of my hydraulic fluid change for the inconvenience. (Talk about doing what you can to make your customer happy). A few days after that my throttle cable seized, I called United and Dave said come on down. He had the part In stock and took it upon himself to install it outside while the mower was still on my truck to save me time and avoid any down time!! After all of that I decided the mower is not for me anymore as I've upgraded, that's when I started looking at tractors. I looked at a couple and had Phil give me quotes on multiple tractors and implements etc, he did all quotes with not a sigh or sign of being upset for having to do so much work to sell one tractor. Needless to say I bought a 2038r and am extremely happy. Dave got the tractor right in for the third hydraulic function to be installed for my grapple and the quality of work for the install is immaculate! Everything looks stock and as it should. Morale of this very long review is shop with United. I have dealt with most all equipment stores around the area and United has most certainly proved to me that I will be taken care of properly and in a timely manner so this is where I'll be sticking to. Thank you Dave, Phil, Ched and the crew at United!!

Update 11/23/23: The…read moremanager of the store graciously contacted me and asked me to please stop by and chat with him to resolve my concerns and I certainly will. I do appreciate that gesture and will update this review ASAP after stopping by the Williston branch in early December 2023. Thank you AG Turf! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 11/3/23: AG Turf read my review and it seems this motivated them to contact me on 11/2/23 that my part had arrived. Not sure if a total coincidence or the part had been there a while and they never called me before reading this review. (but) YELP seemed to help here! I no longer need that part, having decided to fix my Snow Blower issue elsewhere instead of waiting longer for this part to arrive, but, it's good to know that some businesses are reading their customer's reviews on YELP! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I purchased a new JD tractor, new snow blower, new leaf blower and more from Harvest and they were so good to stay on top of communication by phone and email and I felt really valued as a customer. Then AG Turf purchased and took over the same store and franchise of the same brands as Harvest. It just isn't the same now. In two or more visits to AG for parts and a look at a large tractor for an upgrade there, there is no followup. I had a part I needed that was ordered and due in 1-2 weeks for a SnowBlower and as of this review, it is a month+ and I've not heard a thing from AG on the status. As for sales and quotes, Harvest was right on top of staying with me to and through the sale. Nope, not a peep from the salesperson there about "are you still interested in that tractor or as I had requested, let me know what else comes in for trades". ZIP! I got my snowblower fixed that was originally purchased new at Harvest, but, AG was not involved at all since they yet have to get in my part. If the part ever comes in and AG actually contacts me, I'm past the need of it. Oh how I wish, Harvest equipment was still here. I will not purchase another Product nor part at AG until either this dealership fixes it's logistical and customer issues or some other dealer takes over the John Deere, Honda and Stihl franchise in which case I'll head there in hopes it will be a better customer experience.

We agreed on a time within the week for him to come to my home and provide a measurement. He cancelled an hour before we were suppose to meet. First red flag. He ended up rescheduling a few days later and all seemed good. Agreed on approximately 3 weeks out for install. Reached out via text and phone call 5 days prior to the three week point to coordinate a time and date. No response. Left voicemails and calls over the next few days. Finally calling his answering service he text me back the blinds are on back order (notice other reviews this was also the reasoning) which is understandable but I addressed my concern for communication directly then. He then gave me a date they would come in and the date he could install. I got written confirmation that this would be locked in and took off work again. Reached out a couple days before to make sure nothing had come up no response. I call his answering service again even though he will only will response via text per the reason of trying to initially reach him this way and says they're still not in. This again would not of been an issue if he had kept me in the loop instead of blowing me off. I tell him since this was the third time I had taken work off that I would like to cancel my order. He said he would initiate a refund by Friday. Followed up the following week and got his answering service. Again I receive only a text after calling this line saying actually no refund corporate told him he did not have to since it was his franchise and that I would need to pick up the blinds that night (received the text at 5:39pm) or the following day. I try to call and text again to coordinate this with him. NO RESPONSE. I call his answering service and they tell him I am on my way. I show up and there's a box in the doorway with my name on it and a door with budget blinds on it but no one there. I call the answering service again to see where anyone is to determine all pieces are there and they tell me they can do nothing more than leave a message for Mike. The guy the doesn't respond. They also could not provide any sort of customer service phone number or contact information. Extremely embarrassed for this business. Save yourself the time and energy trying to work with this guy.
