I tried Aubergine Kitchen after a friend recommended it. She loves trying healthy spots, but the last one she took me to was not great so I was a little apprehensive BUT WOW this place was actually really good. We went on a Monday around 5:30 and there was no wait. They have indoor and outdoor seating and honestly, not a bad seat in the place. We were able to catch the sunset and there were even some dogs on the patio. People were constantly bussing tables and bathrooms were clean. The menu has lots of options and you can make anything a bowl, plate, or salad. I got the Mediterranean plate and it was sooo delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and the falafel was perfect. I loved how colorful my plate came out. My friend got the hot steak, I tried it, and even ordered one to-go for my boyfriend and he said it was really fckn good. I didn't like the butterfly tea. The stevia taste was strong toward the end, so I didn't finish it (after mixing and drinking some). My friend liked it though and even got one to go. She also got the Whey to Paradise shake, which was good. Desserts were just okay. The sundae (banana-based) was pretty lackluster for me personally and the cookie wasn't a hit either. Honestly, the just desserts just didn't fit my tastebuds but I'll probably try something else next time like an açaí bowl or the pistachio ice cream. Clean, bright space and friendly staff. Not super helpful up front but nonetheless friendly. Overall, I'd definitely come back and try more. Or maybe if just get the Mediterranean plate with the yellow rice. I got it with quinoa because this lady behind me who couldn't decide what she wanted said it was the yummy sticky kind. And she wasn't lying! So good

Came here with a large group we were able to find a table large enough for us all. they also have a good size outdoor seating space as well. i got the smoothie, that was delicious and very healthy like most items they have. i did also get the curry and that left me wanting more. it was bland and there was barely any curry compared to the size of the plate. the chicken bites were good and the sauce was very unique as well.

Fantastic option for quick serve healthy food on the go. Big fan of the cheese bread as well. We did not have to wait long for the food to come out. The staff were happy to provide recommendations and talk about what I might like. The restaurant itself had a nice cute patio area.

Meet family here for a late lunch, it was a little crowded but we were able to find a seat right away. They had plenty on the menu to choose from with and without meat options. I had a salad with steak and it was very good and the steak was cooked correctly and very tender. My milkshake was good, but kind of bland, otherwise great food and visit, we all enjoyed our meals.

Just finished a tour at Chateaux de vie and wanted a healthy bowl for lunch. This location is actually in Mesa at a strip mall. They were doing some road construction on Val Vista so pay attention to the turn to the strip mall. We were able to find parking but there's not a ton available. It's an order at the counter type of place. There were lots of gluten free and vegan options. I ordered the vitality bowl. $16.95 -sweet potatoes, cauliflower rice, roasted chicken, seasoned kale and cabbage. It came out really quick. The presentation was nice and colorful. The food was fresh and delicious. We even got a piece of cheese bread. Definitely will be back !

Cool vibes, I really enjoyed the aesthetic. I'd say staff was a little pretentious. I asked for additional pita bread and they said they couldn't give it to me because they'd have to charge me and the cash register was already closed. They use this jalepeno creamy dressing on a lot of their dishes. I'll probably try them again for breakfast just to see. There's a lot of seating available, but there were 5 or 6 dirty tables and then staff just standing around. Steak was great, but other food was a bit under seasoned in my opinion.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally got to over the weekend and it was well worth the wait. I got the mango goat cheese salad with tri tip and it was incredible! The flavors were great, the portion was large and everything tasted very fresh. All meals come with a cheese bread which is yummy too. Can't wait to come back to try other things off the menu.

I have tried a lot of things on the menu and had mostly good luck. Mac n cheese is delicious and I love their bowls. I'm not the biggest fan of the sandwiches and I usually love the drinks but today I ordered 2 new drinks and was disappointed. The matcha power was not mixed well and was mint/banana dominant. The peanut butter bomb was like drinking warm melted ice cream. The flavor was good but not pleasant to drink. I think I'll just stick to my blue coconut spirulina drink. I always have good luck with that one.

A wonderful restaurant that makes healthy AND delicious food You order at the counter. There are bowls, wraps salads, smoothies and more. Everything is made fresh in house. I ordered the garden delight salad and added chicken. My sister ordered the dream salad Both were fantastic!! No old greens. I had a basin dressing which was so flavorful. We sat outside on the patio which offers both shade or sun. I can't wait to come back k and try more options.

This was my first time at Aubergine Kitchen, and I brought my family who were visiting from out of town. I was really impressed by the variety of healthy options on the menu--perfect for anyone looking to eat well without sacrificing flavor! It's similar to the healthy casual dining concept like Flower Child and Original Chop Shop. One thing I didn't love was the use of stevia in most of their drink options. Personally, I'm not a fan of the taste, so I was a bit disappointed there wasn't more variety without it. If you're sensitive to stevia, just keep that in mind when choosing your beverage. On the bright side, my Mango Salmon Bowl was absolutely delicious--fresh, vibrant, and filling without being heavy. We also tried the Brazilian cheese bread, which was scrumptious and a big hit with everyone at the table. My kiddo enjoyed the baked chicken bites with fruit and a lemonade, and it was great to see healthy options for kids as well. Overall, we had a great experience and I'd definitely come back for the food! Just hoping for a few more drink options next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here today. All in, was around $16 for a bowl with tofu and a cheesy bread (free with bowl). No soda here, just juices and other yummy-looking drinks I didn't photograph. Salads, some pitas, bowls, acai, smoothies. All of it looked so good and options for everyone from vegan, gluten free, meat-eating... I could try something new everyday as a vegetarian and be happy. Coconut curry bowl (sub chicken for tofu for free). Tofu was good and I'm verrrrry picky about my tofu. Firm, flavorful. I could've used a smidge more sauce because I love curry and perhaps some spice. Next time I'll ask.

Love the concept giving 5 stars but will also give an honest review. We love the actual health food delivery options. But the mac n cheese was not good, if you're GF and it's your only option then it's not bad but if you don't need a healthy Mac n cheese then get yourself a gooey good one from somewhere else. The cheese bread was pretty good. Broccoli also good but my tritip came out mooing still. I took it home and cooked it and it was awesome. The Mediterranean plate was also delicious, every part of it. Also the nutty cookie was BOMB, I ate it before I could take a photo lol. Definitely try them out. We need more restaurants like this. Also, will add that it was reasonably priced.

This is a spot I've been wanting to try for a really long time and finally had a chance to go during the day for a breakfast meet up. Aubergine Kitchwn has an extensive menu and all the items seemed very fresh. My friend and I split an egg dish and a smoothie and they were both delicious. The woman working at the desk was very sweet and answered all of our questions about the menu. I love the earth tones and airy ambience filled with plants. There were lots of seats and we opted for indoor because it was a little cooler out. The only thing we did not love that we tried was the Keylime pie because of the texture of it. I think because of its cleaner ingredients it didn't have the texture and flavor we were expecting so that threw us off. I would love to return and try some of their other drinks and dishes!

This place is INCREDIBLE...I have gone there at least 5 times since they've opened and everything is delicious. One of the best parts is knowing it is all fresh, whole foods, and good for you. Don't let the bad reviews scare you because this place deserves 10/5 stars! Seating can be a little tricky because this place is so popular. Not to mention they just opened up and are getting things rolling. Service was great too and work to make it happen. This is my new favorite restaurant! This is one of the best meals I've had in a long time, maybe ever! I created my own bowl, and loved all the possible choices, plus the price, you can't beat that, with 20% tip and everything else in there in a really filling and super fresh and tasty meal, I only paid $21! I was looking for healthy and tasty and I definitely got both, plus super sweet service, and an earthy/upbeat/relaxed atmosphere. I'm considering celebrating my birthday here. Our first time here. Extensive menu with a lot of great good wholesome food. Waitress made recommendations. Food came out quickly and was amazing. The chicken was a bit on dry side but everything else was perfect. Place was very clean and despite them being busy the noise factor wasn't there and you could have actual conversation. This place was okay. I have celiac so I was so very excited for this. We came in and the line was out the door, so that seemed promising. However, when we got up to the register to order, I wanted the gluten free mac and cheese, and the girl cut me off and said "we're out". So I said "Okay, how about the chicken bites with just normal ranch?" And she responded, "We have a jalapeno ranch that will come with your food." Like what? I don't get to even choose what condiments I want? The drinks were awful and we paid for normal priced drinks just to get water. The chicken bites and jalapeno ranch were both awful. My fiancé's food was not bad. The desserts were not good. If we came back, I would get what my fiancé got. It was a cute atmosphere, but the girl who took our order was not friendly, and the food was not great. I hope to return eventually and have a way better experience. read more

I can't even express how excited I am for Aubergine Kitchen to come to Arizona. I have been a fan ever since their first opening in Utah and now they have several locations there. I always eat there every single day that I'm in Utah if possible. Menu is vast with so many different options, the food is nutritious and fresh, including all of the homemade salad dressings that they make from scratch. Cheesy bread and sweet potato bites a staple that come with many of the meals. This time my daughter got my favorite aubergine Mediterranean bowl and I always like to get that with the jalapeño dressing. I got the spaghetti squash chicken dish. Everything was delicious! I also absolutely love their drinks that are refillable. All of them are good. None of them have refined sugar in them, but you would never know by how great they taste. The restaurant is very inviting clean and the service was good. The only reason they're only getting a four star rating from me is that the portions for the three dishes that we bought were all much smaller than we get in Utah. Two of us ate in and I got one to go. Usually it feels at least half of the to go box but this time the entire portion was so small that you could've put a triple portion in, and it would've looked about right. We will definitely be back! Maybe we just got a small portion because somebody was serving up small. read more

My husband and I decided to try Aubergine's a little after 6:00 on a Saturday evening after seeing the great reviews here. It did not disappoint! The cashier who took our order (its counter service) was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable (as we did have a few questions about the menu). After we filled our drinks (with one of their many delightful unsweetened teas) and found a seat outside (heaters at the ready making for a lovely ambiance) and poof! our food was delivered! So speedy for such a busy evening. We immediately began taking pictures of our beautifully presented meals. Then we tasted...and oh. my. word. The tastes, textures and flavors that thrilled our mouths! Ah-mazing! Daring! Delicious! I had the Rio with chicken and added tofu (LOVED their tofu!) and my husband had the Mediterranean. He is a definite foodie and stated, "wow, I'm impressed!" I have only good things to say about this healthy eatery with GF and vegan options! read more

This was my favorite restaurant while attending college in Utah, and I could not be happier they've opened in Arizona!! It is one of the most healthy, fast casual options that is actually quality and delicious, reasonably priced as well! I was missing this restaurant so much while I lived in Florida for the past year, nothing could compare! I always get the chicken harvest bowl with turmeric rice!! every state needs an aubergine!!! Inside of the restaurant is gorgeous as well, it looks fancier and more upscale than the Orem Utah location, it really adds to the ambiance and experience! What I enjoy most about this location is that you don't have to stand in line while they prepare your bowl or clear your own table (things you had to do at Utah location). You can sit back and relax and enjoy the beauty of the space while your yummy food is prepared read more

Food was amazing, please taste your own hot chocolate. It was SO watered down, it should have been called coconut water. My husband made what was supposed to be in your hot chocolate at home-and it was so much better and richer than the flavored water I received. Nice cream was delish. I also appreciated the focus on healthy eating options, with a wide selection of smoothies, drinks, and bowls and tea. However, I did encounter one issue during my visit. While ordering at the register, I experienced a significant language barrier with the gentleman attending. Communication was challenging due to the lack of common language, which unfortunately resulted in a somewhat impersonal interaction. He maintained a serious expression throughout the transaction, and simply placed my food down without any verbal acknowledgement or eye contact. Despite this, the avocado toast itself was quite enjoyable, particularly when enhanced with your delicious house-made sriracha. This flavorful addition elevated the dish significantly.
