Bottom line we had to pay Mike at Modern concepts about $4,000 more than he quoted and he took twice as long and delivered a product that was not satisfactory. Plus during the whole process he was very unclear about payments and anything money related which makes him come across as untrustworthy. Save yourself time and money and do not go with modern concepts.

Paul was easy to work with (professional, efficient, responsive, friendly and accommodating) and scheduled things around the Plumber and when the tub was to come in to get the job completed. When things came up along the way Paul never seemed to get frustrated, and found solutions to the issues. I work from home and was always checking in on the progress of the remodel, but Paul indulged me every time. Thank you Paul, I love my new bathroom! Paul also painted my dining room walls, trim and installed a new overhead light. He worked very efficiently and completed the job in a day. It came out beyond my expectations. The patio and retaining wall look great. The project took longer than expected, but those delays were all on our side. We took longer than we should have to make various decisions about light fixtures, etc. We also changed the scope of the project a few times, adding more areas of walkways that we decided needed to be refinished with the stamped concrete. We would recommend KBR for any project that you might have.
