Horrible at best craftsmanship. It's hard to find one straight cut on any of the work performed. He intentionally used substandard decking wood, splitboard when nailing, huge splinters on deckfloor, and railings, exposed nails,no backing in areas under the siding, etc etc. The list goes on and on. Dozens and dozens of pictures showing horrible work. He deceived me fir over a year with promises to return and repair ALL issues. He has refused to take calls or texts after I was so frustrated on a call he told me " I don't like the way this is going " then hung up and refuses to contact me. I am a disabled veteran and cannot afford an attorney. We put everything we had into 5his project so we could leave our kids something when we pass. I highly recommend this company. John, the owner, and his sons and team did an amazing job at our house removing old wood siding and placing new vinyl siding, all the trim, new gutters, and even replaced gutter guards from my old guarders onto the new ones, which they did not have to take on. They were professional, meticulous, organized, they worked like a well-oiled machine together. I sought out multiple quotes from other companies. John came with a clear and concise presentation, he was organized and patient, presented a clear itemized quote that reflected the unique parameters of our job. We had a garden window that wasn't sealed properly and they ripped it out and replaced it with a slider that looks beautiful. This company is fair and competitive, kept to their quote, and I would say went above and beyond, while remaining affordable. We will be calling them for future projects. read more

I just had my windows replaced by Ocean State Home Improvement. I had been considering the project for a few years and received quotes from at least 10 places ranging from independent contractors to window manufacturers & sellers to big box stores. John was the first person who I actually believed when he came to give a quote and told me what the job entailed. He explained the work simply and didn't make a lot of crazy promises and guarantees. John DiMauro, the owner, and his sons and employees did an outstanding job on our house with all new windows and vinyl on the first level. John stuck to his estimate, even when the worked entailed going up and beyond what I asked for. For instance, I had a little problem with my 2nd floor siding from 35 years ago and his team (his son actually) fixed it. They work so fast and with quality in sync, all employees helping each other out, that it looked like magic how fast and what good quality work his team does! John is very low priced and competitive for the quality of work they do, and they use the best quality materials. They have an excellent work staff, highly educated, and are top notch. They do what they say and are very fast at getting the job done. This is a year later and my wife and I are still very satisfied. We didn't even need a touch up. One piece was a little off but I stuck it in myself. If I could not, they would come here and stop by and fix it. They even worked on my gutters. I wanted Flexseal on it, like on TV, and they did that for me as a bonus or I may have contracted it. Whatever you need, they can do it. read more

John and his crew were very professional. He has a hard working crew including his two very respectful sons. His son Nick answered all of my questions and kept me informed on what they were planning on doing for the day. All of the guys were professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day. John was here checking on his crew everyday and making sure I was happy. He kept me informed if problems came up and there weren't any surprises or unexpected costs at the end. The house was finished in 5 days and it looks amazing. Everyone tells me that it looks like a brand new house. I would recommend John and his crew and use them again when I need work done. read more
