The food was good, I ordered the tagliolini pasta which had mushrooms and asparagus in it. I also ordered a few spicy margaritas which were very very good! The service was good! They took care of our large group well. There is an automatic gratuity charge for groups, large larger than eight I believe.

We were very surprised by the design when we walked in - the frontage is very unassuming. I have been to many areas of Italy - some casual and some very upscale. This restaurant is a little in between. But it's charming and beautiful. We sat at the counter bar and it was a really cool place to be. It's right in front of the kitchen but also very quiet and easy to have a conversation. It's clear that the family that owns the restaurant has spent a lot of time traveling through Italy, the menu is very reflective of many of the regions. The menu was beautiful and certainly has something for everyone. We split a couple entrees but started with the prosciutto which was fantastic - I'm a bit picky about this app because sometimes it's the standard presentation that to me is boring. This dish had a perfect combination of accompaniments - it was light and is a very good starter. For entrees we had the eggplant - the tomato ragu on it was super flavorful. We also ordered the Pork Tenderloin Milanese - this dish is no less than amazing!!!! Highly recommend. The wine we chose was Ceretto Barolo- a perfect match for the entrees. We finished with the desert special - an elegant warm pear tart ... yum ! The service was excellent- we were fortunate to get one of the family members who was charming and gave us a little bit of the family history and great explanations of the dishes before we ordered. This is an excellent restaurant and a fortunate gem we stumbled upon - it's a must if you're in the area!

Questions were answered accurately, service was very friendly and lighthearted but still professional. Also big personal thing, our water glasses were rarely low let alone empty. Truly an enjoyable experience. The food was also very good, the highlights being the braised chicken thigh, calamari, and fried potatoes. All were well executed, fresh and flavor packed with my wife and my favorite being the chicken, it was truly a special dish. The meat paella was not really our thing, the rice was good, but the top was a little too well done for our liking, and there was a little too much wood smokey flavor for us personally throughout. We were okay with it because the portions throughout the other dishes were very generous and we were quite satisfied already, barely having enough room to have a few bites of the churros which were amazing. They were super fresh, crispy, and covered in cinnamon sugar. The chocolate sauce served with them is very rich and dark to contrast the crispy sweetness. Excited to come by and try some more of the tapas options Definitely reccomend as a different, fun, tasty night out, especially if you don't want to decide on just one thing.

Then a waiter was taking care of dishes at the bar. My husband, a brown man, said, "excuse me, hi, we had a reservation." The jackass waiter snapped (yes snapped) saying, "I just told you one minute," which neither of us heard at all, so he must have been talking to the dishes. At that point, we left as I am not spending my money at an establishment that doesn't respect their customers and, quite possibly, is racist. We did go to Juniper and spent over $200 and had an excellent meal and service.
