My teeth were in horrible and embarrassing shape due to severe overcrowding and dental anxiety. I ended up at Atrium a couple of years ago to seek treatment for an infected tooth and I never would have expected a root canal to be a blessing but that's what it was for me. The kind staff and the treatment I received from Dr. F that day changed everything. I've gone from someone who panicked at just the thought of sitting in a dentist chair to having regular cleanings, periodontal treatment and even getting teeth pulled. Dentist did a horrible job with a root canal! I came back because the pain was terrible. They took another xray and told me they couldn't see a problem. Prescribed STEROIDS which I didn't take, and mentioned He may have to CUT. Frustrated, I had to go to an Endodontist for the repair. This Dentist said I had a long root that was causing all the pain. Use to be super good service but its going little down hill. I was called Joe, without being asked if you prefer being called Joseph which is on my chart. Also the hygenist kept having her should so close to me. Never had a Hygenist be so close like that. Pretty bad manners over all. Also my mouth guard some reason has a little slit in the middle not just at the end but in the middle up little bit to the end . the dr said you have been chewing on it. I let her know I do not chew on it and I have no animals. . I been coming here since 2021 but I think I rather find another place. read more

I am a dedicated patient to this business. Even when I moved out of the city I continued coming back to see both Dr. Foroughis (husband and wife). The staff is lovely and I've never had any problems post procedure or cleanings. I've had cleanings, fillings, root canal, crown, retainer, mouth guards, permanent retainers done at this dental office and it's always been done to perfection. I've been coming to Atrium Dental for several years. The dentists, hygienists, and receptions are all very friendly. Their office is clean and has up to date equipment. The dentist will show you and explain what dental work needs to be done. He will explain what is urgent and what to keep an eye on. I am a big fan of Atrium Dental. Both the Foroughis are very talented and kind dentists. The support personnel are all very helpful and personable as well. I was recommended to them by a coworker 4 years ago and have never considered another since. I needed a root canal at the time, the most dreaded of all dental procedures, and was not looking forward to it at all. Dr Foroughi was very thorough in both explanation and the practice. I can't say it was fun, but he did a great job and I have been back every six month since for biannual cleanings (but thankfully no more procedures!). Keep up the great work Atrium team. read more

This is two reviews in one. Cleaning: 5 stars. Zoom whitening: 1 stars, and unfortunately that's the one that has to be seen. General comments: very friendly staff, and very punctual. Both times I was seen a couple minutes before my appointment time, since I arrived early. Very punctual. Despite burning my gums with their mistake during the whitening, I never received even an apology. I get it that you don't want to take blame, but the only way that you could have burned my gums is if you chose to apply the bleaching agent directly to my gums instead of the protective barrier liquid. Anyway... I bought a groupon for a cleaning and Zoom whitening. The dentist who saw me was Dr. Foroughi, and I believe the hygienist's name was Steph? I have such a bad memory... My old dentist was wonderful, but at Atrium they seem to have more of the latest and greatest gadgets. Better x-ray machines, better tooth cleaning tools, etc. They used a couple I had never seen before (some ultrasonic water thingy, rather than the usual scrape-scrape-scraping, and a laser cavity detector). Both the dentist and the hygienist were very kind and explained everything to me. The hygienist said that she usually works with kids, and I can definitely see that - she has a calming personality, and she made sure to tell me exactly what she was doing each step of the way. I've been fortunate enough to have never had a bad experience with a dentist, but for anyone who's afraid - she seems like she'd be able to calm them down! The only "negative" is that the cleaning took a bit longer than I was expecting, because we had to wait for one of the x-ray machines to free up as it was already being used. In any case, a 5 star experience. Two days later (today), I went in for my zoom whitening. I don't know how much you know about Zoom, but first they apply a protective barrier to your gums so that the bleaching agent doesn't burn them, and then they apply the bleaching agent with the laser/light thing. Something went very, very wrong when they put the barrier on my gums. I don't know what exactly happened, but rather than a protective barrier, it felt like the bleaching agent had been applied directly to my gums, instead. It was a familiar feeling, from when I've accidentally gotten the gel from my at-home bleaching trays on my gums. Within 15 seconds it was hurting pretty bad, so I had her take it off. My gums are still burned several hours later, as I write this, and they're swollen and white in certain spots, but I anticipate it will heal soon. Dr. Foroughi said it probably couldn't have been an allergic reaction, based on the ingredients, so I can only assume they put the bleaching agent on my gums. Other than that, my whitening experience went well, but it's simply unacceptable to harm your patient during a procedure without even an apology. I contacted Zoom and they never got back to me either with an answer. Not super pleased. read more

I have been going to Dr. Foroughi for 10 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Prior to going to Atrium Dental I was going to a larger chain of dentists in Phoenix. This previous dentist told me that they would not clean my teeth until I had several cavities filled and other expensive work. They told me my then 7 year old daughter needed braces right away. I went to Atrium Dental after having an old filling crack my tooth and it was extremely painful. The previous dentist would not fix it unless I agreed to have all my dental work done at the same time.When I saw Dr. Sean for the first time he fixed that tooth only. He did not try to upsell me on any additional treatments either. After that I had my teeth deep cleaned but I never felt pressured to do it. 10 years later my whole family goes to Dr. Sean. My kids don't have the fear of going to the dentist like I did when I was growing up. I'm not sure why anyone would give Atrium Dental a bad review. I have had several bad experiences with other dentists and I never went back to them. I will continue to go to Atrium Dental for as long as I can. read more

I am very particular about who I receive treatment from ( having had bad experiences in the past) and I am very happy with all aspects of my appointments. I have had multiple interactions with the girls up front, and they have always been kind, polite and helpful.
