My first time trying atoyubu after being teased in social media! We got the fresh salmon, spicy tuna and crabmon 1. Fresh salmon (4/5): def one of my favorite since thw salmon was really fresh! It is lacking flavors tho, I only tasted rice and tofu skin 2. Crabmon (3/5): blue crab meat wirh salmon on top, the picture looks like it comes with a lot of salmon but it was def not. Flavor was ok 3. Spicy tuna (2/5): my least favorite. They used buldalk sauce for this and it's actually really spicy. Tuna didn't taste very fresh so I was a bit disappointed All of these come with a lot of rice and barely any fishes so I was a bit disappointed. I'd maybe come back for a light snack like the fresh salmon
My friends and I came here for a quick lunch before playing some pickleball and it was the best preworkout meal. Each yubu pocket comes filled with rice and toppings so it is quite filling. The space is very clean with adequate seating and the food is made to order but comes out very fast. They have a lot of different variations so everyone is bound to find something they enjoy here!
Hidden and almost a hole in a wall, but very popular by word of mouth & I agree why this place is loved by Yelpies. Parking is readily available and love that it's in the same plaza as Jam Jam. The restaurant is clean and bright with good amount of seating. Kiosk ordering is nice, but staff did take their time to check if we were first timers and make recommendations since their selection is huge! The flavors are fantastic & there's so many unique options. The portion is generous. I actually ended up liking this place a lot more than expected & Will definitely come by regularly for team lunches.
If you're craving for a good "football", this place is good. They fill the tofu skin up with equal parts rice and toppings. I was a little sad that there wasn't a lot of roe on the creamy myungran though. We ordered the popping spicy salmon, fluffy egg, spicy tuna, lemon pepper salmon, fresh salmon, and crab meat. I must say that my faves were the crab meat, lemon pepper, and popping spicy salmon. Regardless, menu has lots of options and the service was great.
Very fresh and tasty! This was the first time I have visited and it was wonderful. Plenty of green parking available in the plaza. Everything is prepared fresh to order in front of you, kinda like subway style. Very filling and this is also sharable - to good for individuals or for groups.
Sushi rice wrapped in tofu skin topped with meat. That's basically it. But they make basic taste so good and so convenient to order do a quick pick up to-go. QR Code menu, online ordering or in-person, my order ready in under 5 minutes. Open space floor plan dining area within, clean look and feel. Quality and taste is better than I expected. Definitely would return for more! We got the: Fresh Salmon Yubu Popping Spicy Salmon Crabmon Baldak Yubu My favorites are the Fresh Salmon Yubu & the Crabmon. Averages out to be $6.11 each after tax. On average, it'd take 2.5 Yubu for me to be full. They do recommend at least 2 to 3 to make it a meal. So expect to spend around $18 for a decent meal.
Good place for a chill lunch with a laidback open vibe. You order on the kiosk and they call your name when it's ready! The portions feel smaller to me than the one in ktown but the flavors were on point and great! They have a nice variety of fish and flavors to choose from and also have raw and cooked which was nice. I loved the eel and lemon salmon and thought the tuna was just okay, nothing special. The eel was a surprise standout and was super buttery with a balanced sauce. The lemon salmon had a good texture but I thought there was a little too much lemon on mine. The tofu pocket and rice are slightly sweet and give a nice balance to the umami flavors of the protein. Parking is easy and keep in mind they take a mid day break and are closed then!
the food is ALWAYS tasting so amazing. the fish tastes fresh and was about $5 to $6.50 per yubu. i love the taste of how they make it and it comes out pretty fast most times I'm there (usually ~10 min). the staff were very friendly and accommodating. they had clean facilities and a restroom for customers. water is free and canned drinks are available for purchase.
I like about 75% of the menu. The remaining 25% I don't. Buldak sauce in inari is just strange. I don't like the chemical taste. It also feels lazy Asides from the buldak flavors some taste great like the crab. I do wish there were more raw fish options Hit or miss but it hits more often than it misses
Tried 2 flavors of atoyubu - ginger tuna and lemon pepper salmon. Both were pretty good but I liked the lemon pepper salmon more, though I normally like tuna over salmon. I think I expected the ginger tuna to be more refreshing? But it ended up being more mild and sweet. I think next time I would try the spicy tuna. The spicy pork or grilled eel also looked good so I might get those next time! I liked that the rice and tofu skin weren't too sweet like many other inari / yubu chobap that I've tried before. I went around 12 on a monday and it was pretty empty!
i had this place a couple of times and would say this is perfect for a light meal. the store is tucked in the corner of the plaza and the inside is clean. also, the staff was super quick and polite. i like to get the seafood yubus and am obsessed with the fresh salmon yubu (10/10) as this one always tastes fresh. the fluffy egg myungran (10/10) is really creamy and would recommend if you are feeling something different. however, in my opinion, the fresh ginger tuna yubu tasted kind of funky. maybe it was the fish or maybe not because my hubby liked it. it also looked like it was starting to oxidize and i know it is safe to eat but the color throws me off. maybe this specific yubu is just not for me. nevertheless, the ratio of filling to rice for the yubus are just right and worth the 5$. can't wait to try other flavors !!
Wasabi octopus- surprisingly became my fav! The octopus had no weird smell and was wonderfully chewy coated with a super flavorful sesame oil and wasabi sauce!! Its actually soo goood Ginger Tuna- Refreshing! Tangy, juicy, light. Blue Crab w salmon- very flavorful and savory, each bite was perfect

Overall, it's an okay place to dine in. The tofu pocket of the yubus were on the sweet side; the salmon yubu was the best among the three I tried. Ordering is done through a self-serve machine. The restaurant wasn't busy around 4pm on Saturday. read more
I was a big fan of Atoyubu in bueno park and hearing that there was one in diamond bar, I was so happy to have one a bit closer of a drive to me. All I have to say this place hits just the same as the other locations. These tofu pockets filled with rice and different toppings are such a filling and delicious treat I believe everyone should try these at least once. My go tos are always going to be the salmon and the crab, but I truly believe you can't go wrong with any as long as its up to your preference. Would recommend if you are hungry going for up to 4, but for the average stomach, I think three is definitely enough to suffice. Will definitely be coming again and again. read more

This is a late review for my visit in May. Service was great and the food met my expectations. Prices were also reasonable. You could get full after eating 2-3 of these. I'm so happy Atoyubu opened a location near me so I don't need to drive all the way to Buena Park anymore :) read more
I had this place bookmarked for their original location in Buena Park, but I just happened to see they just recently opened one near Rowland Heights, which was perfect as I had an errand in that area. This place serves up inari pockets with various fillings, and I am a fan. I got the fresh salmon and garlic crab (imitation crab) which were around $5-6 each depending on which type you get. I personally loved both of them a lot as the filling is flavorful and fresh and the rice is of good quality. I would get the spicy tuna next time, as they warned it was really spicy and at the time, I was feeling a bit under the weather to brave spicy food but I will definitely try it the next time! read more
Food was delicious and good quality! Each roll was only about $5 each -- having 2 or 3 was enough for me. The service was fast, you order on the large iPad screen and food is ready within 5 mins or so. The ambiance is clean with plenty of parking in the plaza. Definitely check this place out! read more

From the moment we walked in we were created and helped since it was our first time and the lady was so nice! She showed us the top five and warned us on spicy salmon! It was a cute little set up very calm and very clean we definitely will be back for the amount we got it was amazing pricing! read more
Food: We each tried 3 items. All of them were really good. There was a good balance of rice to filling, presentation looked appealing, and 3 is enough to get you full. Inside, the place looked clean and there are about 7 tables and can probably sit at least 18 people. We came on a Monday and the wait is about 10 minutes to get your food. Biggest question... would you come back? Yes. Would definitely be back to try more. read more
First things first: the plaza layout outside is chaos. The zig-zag parking lot, uneven pavement, and a blaring car alarm going off outside the whole time? Not exactly the most peaceful arrival. But once you step inside... it's a whole vibe. Minimal, cafe-like interior with a huge digital screen for easy self-ordering. I love that. The yubu chobaps here are massive, and a little messy so I wouldn't really recommend this place as a first date spot. But if you're here to feast and not impress, it's perfect. Here's what I tried: - Fluffy Egg w/ Myungran: If you love soft textures and salty-sweet flavors, this one is it. The fluffy egg is so satisfying, and the myungran gives it a flavorful depth. My personal favorite. - Spicy Tuna: My next favorite. Super fresh and packed a punch. The fish is so fresh, and the spice is real, and there's a seasoning on top that reminded me of the Shin Ramyun soup packet (in the best way). - Garlic Butter Crab: Think California roll, but torched -- with smoky, buttery goodness on top. It's rich, savory, and just the right amount of indulgent. - Plain Yubu: I threw this in as a backup in case I wasn't full. Jokes on me, because I was stuffed. But they were still delicious. These come in a 2 pack, and these were torched on the top too. Overall, the food is thoughtful, flavorful, and fun. It's not fancy, but it delivers on flavor and creativity. I'll definitely be back when I want to eat something comforting, slightly over-the-top, and full of umami. read more
Solid solid meal. Even arriving at opening time there was already a number of people there and ordering. Each was ~$5 more or less and my friend and I got 7 total. You actually should be full with 3 but very satisfied with 4. I recommend the grilled eel and the crab. I also got the tuna and octopus but they weren't as good as the grilled / warmed up ones. The thing docking the star is just the amount of salt. As I took each bite and after the meal, I really felt the saltiness of the meal and it wasn't very pleasant. That said, the place is a cute grab and go kinda place. It takes a bit of time to get them but not too bad. Service was good even for a fast food type place. I love the creative inari pieces here and it's all made very well. All the flavors seem so good and interesting so it's definitely a great experience. There's a good amount of room inside with many tables. The interior is really clean and decorated well. The employee warned us about the spice of the spicy tuna but I got it anyways and yes it is very hot. It reminds me of the Buldak spice and I think it does use it(?) it was very tasty though. The food came out pretty quickly and everything was cooked well and tasty. read more
This is a really solid spot to get a quick snack or a small lunch! I really liked the fresh salmon, the salmon was not fishy at all. I also got the fresh ginger tuna and it was overall well-seasoned and very tasty. My brother got the myungran crab which was creamy and flavorful. We agreed that out of all the flavors we tried, we liked the fresh salmon the best. read more
Quick and easy bite! Service was a quick turnaround time! Order at the kiosk and it'll be out pretty quick. We got our order within 10minutes! The fish was very fresh and so flavorful with each bite! If ur craving this, then yes you'll be satisfied. It is rlly filling bc the rice to meat ratio is off, meaning there is more rice/carbs compared to the toppings. Any of the spicy ones are actually rlly spicy btw lol. I wouldn't get this all the time but if I'm craving something filling and quick then this would be an option read more

This is my second time picking up food from this place. So far I have tried the fresh salmon, spicy tuna, lemon pepper salmon and grilled bulgogi. My favorite is the fresh salmon. The first time I came I was indifferent about trying it. I went because my daughter wanted to try it. However it was a pleasant surprise. It has a good layering ratio. Don't be fooled by the size. It seems small but it is amount of good. I can eat 2 of them and feel full. I think a guy with an appetite might want 3-4. I think the price is good for the ingredients and portion given. Beautiful food presentation. Okay... How do I explain the taste to those who have never eaten it. Well it had a new but familiar taste of you eat salmon sushi. The tofu skin is a touch of sweetness, the rice balances the sweetness and the fresh almond salmon gives it that familiar flavor to those who have eaten sushi. Adding wasabi or some hot sauce gives it that extra spice flavor. I did like the grilled bulgogi. There is a sauce they have with it and I think I'd asked not to include the extra sauce because it makes it more sweet. I really like the lemon pepper I feel like it gives a good balance of sweet and savory. However my daughter thought it was a little salty. I would like to try other flavors. Spicy tuna... Was spicy! If you like that buldock spice, this one is for you. I staff is very friendly. Service is quick. The place is clean and comfortable with good lighting. If you want to try something a little bit different but not crazy adventurous I recommend this place. read more
sooo excited this location is finally open, and it's closer to me!! lots of people order to go for pick up, we ordered on the kiosk and one of the staff walked my friend through all the options. fresh salmon 10/10 spicy tuna 9/10 crab? I forgot which one 7/10 ginger tuna 5/10 everything was fresh except the ginger tuna? you can see in the picture how discolored the tuna is compared to the salmon and the other tuna flavor we ordered. not sure why the quality dropped off with this flavor, but maybe it's not as popular and less turn over? it was still alright, but thrown off by the color. spicy tuna uses buldak sauce verryyy spicy be warned!! $5/piece is a nice price, I could eat 3-4 and be satisfied! 2 would be a nice snack, they're very filling. will be coming back for the fresh salmon, the ginger tuna was disappointing, would suggest other flavors instead! read more
It's ok. I don't understand the hype that much. This is just on me but $5 each is kind of too much for me too. I think my fav one is prob the salmon one. Some of them are just way too salty cause of various sauces and combinations. The Inari itself is pretty good though. Service was pretty nice. Ambiance is nothing too special, just your typical place. Maybe for someone that can get full with just 2 but regardless while I don't think the taste is that bad, I prob won't come back for myself. read more
My boyfie and I have been wanting to try the Atoyubu location in Orange County .. but then they opened one litcherally a few mins away from home so we finally decided to try ! To start off Atoyubu is kinda hidden in the plaza.. you rly gotta LOOK for it since it's hidden all the way in the back. We ordered the spicy tuna, fresh ginger tuna, garlic butter crab, myungran crab, and grilled eel. I was a bit disappointed because they ran out of salmon by the time we got there D: My boyfriend loved everything but I personally didn't like it as much; I felt overwhelmed by the amount of rice in the tofu pockets and wish they gave more protein. Out of everything we tried the garlic butter crab was my favorite ! I do wish they offered non spicy tuna since the spicy was SUPER spicy (they did warn us but I was still curious) and I am usually a tuna girl but the only other option they had was ginger -- I'm not a fan of ginger. I'd come back to try their salmon, but was a bit disappointed coming for the first time. It was also kinda messy to eat and I'm someone who hates a mess while eating. The workers were so kind and helpful -- answered all the questions we asked! The price point for each of these were at around $5 so not too bad // amazing for this economy LOL. I'd come back but only for the salmon and mayhaps the crab. I hope they offer more tuna flavors soon! read more
I decided to try this place after seeing it everywhere on Instagram! There is a good amount of parking outside and the seating inside is plenty too. Most of the tables are circles so it is hard to seat big parties. You order at a kiosk at the front and they call your name when your yubu pockets are ready. The price is ok for the amount of food you get. In my opinion the yubus should be priced at $4 instead of $5 since they do not fill me up. The yubus themselves were good with lots of flavor. I would come back for a special occasion but I wouldn't seek it out alone due to the price. read more

Stopped by for a quick snack because my last experience with Atoyubu was great! And once again, they lived up to expectations~ I typically order three for a quick meal, so I ordered just two for this snack portion and it was just the right amount of food--hits just the spot! I came right after their lunch break, between 2pm and 4pm, so right before dinner service and they were all ready to go--food came out quickly and well made! read more

Picked this up for lunch and 3 was a perfect amount of food! The garlic butter crab was really good, not too buttery, but the ratio of rice could have been more balanced. The lemon pepper salmon was very peppery and I found myself wanting to use a chopstick to mix the topping in so it was more evenly distributed. The fresh salmon was the best one out of the three - super soft and tender and balanced! It was also really quick to order and get out of there with my food! read more

The portion size is good. The rice had a bit of sauce throughout so it wasn't just dry rice. You order at front with the kiosk and they take your name. The flavors were so nice and they gave us a dumdum lollipop as well. It's a small corner shop vibe. There's not a ton of tables so grab a spot if you see one opens up but expect that it's easier to take it to go. If you can handle your spicy try one of the spicy ones but if you can't then you've been warned! Even the non buldalk sauce spicy ones are really spicy. It was the spiciest spicy tuna I've ever had. Carbonara buldalk level spicy. It had great depth of flavor and the fish is really fresh. read more

My friend and I have always wanted to go to Buena Park to try Atoyubu but had never had the chance. We were very excited to hear that they were opening one up in Walnut! We came on a Friday night around 7. There were quite a few people but the service was very fast. You order on a screen and wait for your order to be called. Fresh Salmon was my favorite. Very simple but fresh and tasty Spicy Tuna w/ the special spicy sauce was a lot spicer than I had anticipated but it was still yum Grilled Eel was nice and smoky from the char Garlic Butter Crab was good, nothing too special just some imitation crab We'll definitely be coming back to try the other varieties. Oh and they also give you lollipops as a sweet treat :D read more
This place has been my go-to spot for a quick, delicious stop for lunch recently! I've always been a big fan of yubu (tofu pockets), and this place definitely doesn't disappoint. Personally, I find that two yubus are pretty filling for a meal, which comes out to around $10-$11.The prices are pretty reasonable, and the service is always great and welcoming. The staff are happy to answer any questions I have about the menu options, which I really appreciate. The water is self-serve and you order through a kiosk so there isn't a need for too much interaction in the first place. There's only one kiosk, but I've never been when its so crowded that there's too much of a wait. For extra convenience, you can also order ahead through the Toast app. The interior is clean and modern. My personal go-tos are the Garlic Butter Crab and the Fresh Salmon, and their Spicy Tuna is actually pretty spicy! Highly recommend checking this spot out if you're in the area and craving something quick and delicious! read more
Atoyubu went viral in Orange County and it's finally in the San Gabriel Valley! It's a Korean shop that specializes in yubus, tofu pockets stuffed with seasoned rice and your choice of protein. You can get toppings like salmon, bulgogi, garlic butter crab, fluffy egg, pork belly, and many others They have over 15 yubus to choose from and I love how they have both savory and sweet options. The best part is that these delicious snacks are only $5-$6! The grand opening for their Diamond Bar location is on Saturday, March 15th, and they plan to introduce new items! read more
