This location, like all of the other others I have visited, clean, welcoming, and the food was delicious. I am originally from California so my go to burger is in and out. Freddy's is the only comparable restaurant/burger place. I have found here on the East Coast, the staff behind the counter was super helpful as it has been a while since I have been to a Freddy's, the inside of the restaurant was very clean and our food was cooked fresh and came out rather quickly, I would definitely recommend this if you like a good burger and custard.

Low and behold there is a Freddy's in Williamsburg, so we decided to take a little "part-of-the-day trip" to chrck it out. Upon entry, everyone working there greeted us and were super friendly. It was pretty busy in there, and i found the tables and chairs to be super close together and i felt a little claustrophobic. Maybe it was the abundance of the color red. The lady who took our order at the counter was very patient while we figured out the menu, which is mostly smash burgers in a variety of iterations, along with a variety of sides. I ordered a "single cheeseburger " with a side of shoestring fries. The cheeseburger is actually a smashburger that is practically a paper-thin "burger". It was very bland, to be honest. Their burgers, unless otherwise specified, come with pickles, mustard, and onions. The shoestring fries were awesome. Simple, not greasy. My husband got 2 Steakburger Tacos, which he said were "just okay". He also got a side of tots, which he found to be overly greasy. We couldn't leave without trying some of Freddy's Frozen custard. I had a small cone of vanilla, which if blind-taste-tested against McDonald's soft serve, i wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Which is fine. We also got a chocolate malt shake, which was super good. Was it worth the drive? Meeeeehhh. The best things were the shoestring fries and the milkshake. Oh, they also serve Pepsi products. This is the first time that I have ever seen Pepsi Zero in a soda machine at a fast food restaurant. That was pretty cool. It's the little things. Would we go again? Unless there was a much closer location in RVA, probably not.

The 1st time I came across Super Chix was in 2023 for a Yelp event when they opened up. Let's see if the trend continues. We were greeted by the staff when we walked inside. They had a good crowd inside for a Sunday afternoon which is a good thing. The decor looked spotless from what I could tell and TVs were showing sports from different leagues. Both of us had to order from the booth before getting seated where they'll deliver your food via a number. My selection was 4 chicken tenders and fries topped with rosemary pepper seasoning. And I chose buttermilk ranch and Korean BBQ sauces for dipping. Everything was delicious. The tenders were hot and cooked perfectly and the fries had proper seasoning. Truly made my belly get full before I finished. Thanks again Super Chix for having yours truly satisfied during lunch. You guys will continue to be a choice the next time we're in the area :)

The fries are also great, and you can choose your seasoning. I've tried sandwiches, tenders, and salads, all of them are great. Give this place a try. Did I mention that also play great music in there?!

The service was good with the young lady very pleasant and helpful as we placed our orders: Hot Dog tray with fries and a taco and a two chicken quesadilla tray with fries and fried cheese bits. The ambiance was a bit rushed as we chose the drive thru, but you could go in and eat. The prices are not bad. *SORRY* We were really hungry and I did forget to take food pics! The food was hot: the hot dog was fresh and tasty on a fresh bun, the taco was just okay; the chicken quesadilla was good as well; we enjoyed the fried cheese bites (we wished there were more!); and the fries were hot and good. We did wash our food down with a sweet tea (that was SO good) and a pink lemonade (also good). All in all, a great place to grab a quick bite, especially late in the evening when other food places have closed.

We'll half way to the hotel I open the sandwich only to find double tomato, double lettuce and some sauce that I didn't recognize and shouldn't have been on the Cajun chix sandwich. So many changes since the last time I had eaten at this location.

With that being said, Folks, do be kind and compassionate, that means with your Support of not only patronage in dining here, but, also your PATIENCE and POSITIVITY. They are a 3 People Operation, Sheldon, Tony and Marcus, and they give of themselves wholly in delivering a great meal to Everyone who ventures their way. They care about every single morsel, and they care about every single experience, and whether you know it or not, every single meal is cooked to order, not microwaved like other places. So, yes, it will take a little longer in getting your meal you ordered, BUT!! You can rest assured that your meal is FRESH, HOT, and delectably Grrrrrrreat Also, I would like to add, please be respectable...if you don't have time to wait for a FRESHLY COOKED GREAT MEAL, then do move along, but, please don't try and slander them with negative reviews (uncle tom effect) some folk don't get this good of a meal at home (yeaa I said it.) And another thing I witnessed as a patron tried throwing dissension in the midst, by offering what might be considered as a PSEUDO Compliment when she stated that one of the staff members should not hesitate when GOD blesses him with an opportunity to remove himself from this blessing of an establishment, telling him that his blessing is not there. That was so disrespectful, as that young man is HIGHLY BLESSED, and what the person who made that comment to him, didn't know, is that, that establishment is initiated, owned, operated by his loving Father, who also works there, giving of time, and energy and showing his Son the positive sides of life and blessing him to comprehend what it is to be an Entrepreneur. That is TRUE LOVE The young man, with true humility, and dedication to his mission, and to his Father, never lost focus, showed respect in acknowledging the customer, as everyone has an opinion, regardless of how off-base, or out of touch it is, he still showed respect. We need to keep SMALL BUSINESSES such as theirs running and functional, instead of just large chains, where they mass produce and offer very little in the way of personal service and great interactions, along with Great Real Foods. On my visit, they were packed and has 18+ guests in attendance, yet, still, reward yourselves with the experience, and PLEASE, Be Patient and Continue to SUPPORT them. After she…read morecame home from a hair appointment, we traveled here to an area of Williamsburg that we've never been to before. For the most part, it's street parking where we found a very good spot and restaurants and stores galore. Let's see how this spot turned out for us. Inside, the decor is very nice. They have a few tables inside and plenty in the outside patio. It's basically a spot that's takeout but if want to dine-in, that's totally fine. And they serve Kung Fu Tea, one of our favorite guilty pleasures that unfortunately closed near us months ago. After a few minutes, we ordered at the counter. Along with a large Strawberry Milk slush, I selected a 5 piece tender combo with a side of crinkle fries. First off, the slush was pretty good. At 50% sugar with boba pearls, it hit the sweet spot very well. It felt like old times when we used to order KFT often. But, the chicken combo itself was underwhelmimg. The food came out hot and ready, but the tenders were tough to break apart either by biting into it or with your hands if you dipped in any of their sauces. Sophia ordered a chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed, saying eating a Chick-Fil-A sandwich is better. That says a lot. I did take some home to eat for leftovers, but like earlier, could've been better. Not to put any bad press on the business, but it was disappointing. Again, it's basically a takeout spot and one for KFT admirers like us. We will come back only for that reason the next time we're around.
