Blazed BBQ (11-inch)
Britt D.

Love Blaze & especially love the deals! Highly recommend the BBQ Chicken. Staff is quick and usually accommodating lots of people, the vibes are great! If you're like me, you may want to ask for it a little more crispy! So yummy.

I loveeee Blaze Pizza & the ability to customize your pizza to your liking! I really enjoy oven baked pizza, and mine is always made to perfection. I especially love that you don't get charged extra for what you put on there. I'm a huge fan of their pesto basil drizzle. I also enjoy their garlic knots & their s'mores pies that you can get oven baked, they're a must every visit! The pizza is so filling, I always have leftovers & they always taste delicious even the next day. Service can sometimes be slow, but always pleasant and well worth the wait. I love their Pi Day deal, which usually wraps around the building. I have gone to multiple locations, and this one is by far my favorite!

Build ya own
Rebecca W.

I absolutely love the pizza here! The "build your own" option is fantastic, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that let you create the perfect pie. The portions are generous--big enough to share, which is always a bonus. The staff is super friendly and makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this spot for great food and excellent service! Located in the New Town shopping district so you can have a nice stroll after you are done eating. pssst... go to Sweet Frog down the way for your sugary treat :)

Very burnt

I love blaze and all the topping choices, once they even had brussels sprouts which was very exciting. The pesto sauce isn't very flavorful though. I love a well done pizza, but sadly today was way too burnt on the bottom. (I did not ask for it well done). It was still good. But the burnt flavor kinda took over. I DO love choosing my own unlimited toppings...

I forgot how good Blaze Pizza is! This is the closest one to me in Williamsburg and I will definitely be back. You can pick from the menu or pick all your own toppings. The service is very quick and it's so good

Decided to try this after getting hungry from walking around the shopping center. I was expecting this to be similar to Mod Pizza. However it was even better!! My family and I shared one as a snack but we loved it so much we came back the next day to enjoy more pizzas! Loved it!! So tasty. I didn't get full. So if I wanted this for dinner I would definitely need to add something to it like their bread. I will try their cheesy bread next time! Also- ranch was pretty good!!

Spicy Pepperoni Pizza

Very good pizza. We ordered online so we didn't deal with servers but when I went to pick up the pizzas, the guy I asked questions was very polite and helpful. If we were to eat there it's a very casual, family sit down kind of place. My wife and I each had a personal (11") pizza, which was the perfect size. Flavors were spot on. I had the spicy hot chicken pickle pizza with a cauliflower crust. And yes, pickles on pizza doesn't sound great (and I normally don't eat them) but it worked here. My wife had the spicy pepperoni. We both finished our pizzas and were perfectly satisfied.

Overall love blaze pizza! Food is always a great quality and usually Service is top notch. Unfortunately with this location "Daniel" must be a shift supervisor or something, horrible customer service! Snarky comments during checkout and made a huge deal that we asked for a box.

Green Stripe (11-inch)
Jada G.

Blaze is my go-to, all-time favorite pizza place! Their pizza is fresh off the brick oven. There are premade, signature pizzas but you can also make your own. My go-to is the green stripe and I just add onions or extra chicken. It's the perfect personal size but if you're not tooo hungry you can def share with someone as well! I forgot to take a picture of my s'mores cookie (2 Graham cracker cookies almost like a shortbread texture, chocolate and a flat marshmallow) but I ALWAYS get one every time I come here. They offer to heat it up in the fire brick oven so it's more melty when you eat it :) When you enter, it's kind of like chipotle where you order as you make your pizza and then pay after. They give you a number and bring your pizza to wherever you're sitting. You can also order to-go too! They're pretty quick, the most I've had to wait is probably 5 minutes! The place is pretty clean as well. Definitely a great hang out spot or a place to grab to-go. Their flavor is never lacking, their food is always fresh and it's just so yummy. They also sell limited beers and wine and have in house multi-flavored lemonade! I love this place and highly recommend to any and all pizza lovers.

Burnt hard pizza

I've been eating this place awhile now. I recommend Blaze Pizza to anyone who wants to good pizza. The service was a little crazy due to being a Friday night but they still got the job done. I've gotten people hooked on this place and they enjoy the pizza. The pizza is a good price for what you are getting.

This was my first experience with Blaze Pizza and was pretty good! I was excited to see that there was an abundance of toppings available and that they make their pizzas fresh (we put in an order for a later pick up and it was ready at the time that we intended it to be without getting cold on a shelf). I would rate this pizza pretty highly for the fresh ingredients, service, and the ambiance (casual with plenty of seating for a quick take out or a sit down meal).

It was a very easy way to order pizza and wasn't too expensive. Overall a very great place.

No gluten free or thin crust available; taste of pizza mediocre. Not enough sauce used either.

Ask the Community - Blaze Pizza

How much is it for the BYO pizza? I might be taking a group of teenagers, and I'm just wondering if it's going to be more cost effective to go to a regular pizza place where we share a couple larger pizzas. Thanks!

Each pizza is sufficient for an average person to consume. That way, each person can get the pie they want. The average price for a pie is $7-8. It is a great value!

Low and behold there is a Freddy's in Williamsburg, so we decided to take a little "part-of-the-day trip" to chrck it out. Upon entry, everyone working there greeted us and were super friendly. It was pretty busy in there, and i found the tables and chairs to be super close together and i felt a little claustrophobic. Maybe it was the abundance of the color red. The lady who took our order at the counter was very patient while we figured out the menu, which is mostly smash burgers in a variety of iterations, along with a variety of sides. I ordered a "single cheeseburger " with a side of shoestring fries. The cheeseburger is actually a smashburger that is practically a paper-thin "burger". It was very bland, to be honest. Their burgers, unless otherwise specified, come with pickles, mustard, and onions. The shoestring fries were awesome. Simple, not greasy. My husband got 2 Steakburger Tacos, which he said were "just okay". He also got a side of tots, which he found to be overly greasy. We couldn't leave without trying some of Freddy's Frozen custard. I had a small cone of vanilla, which if blind-taste-tested against McDonald's soft serve, i wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Which is fine. We also got a chocolate malt shake, which was super good. Was it worth the drive? Meeeeehhh. The best things were the shoestring fries and the milkshake. Oh, they also serve Pepsi products. This is the first time that I have ever seen Pepsi Zero in a soda machine at a fast food restaurant. That was pretty cool. It's the little things. Would we go again? Unless there was a much closer location in RVA, probably not.

With that being said, Folks, do be kind and compassionate, that means with your Support of not only patronage in dining here, but, also your PATIENCE and POSITIVITY. They are a 3 People Operation, Sheldon, Tony and Marcus, and they give of themselves wholly in delivering a great meal to Everyone who ventures their way. They care about every single morsel, and they care about every single experience, and whether you know it or not, every single meal is cooked to order, not microwaved like other places. So, yes, it will take a little longer in getting your meal you ordered, BUT!! You can rest assured that your meal is FRESH, HOT, and delectably Grrrrrrreat Also, I would like to add, please be respectable...if you don't have time to wait for a FRESHLY COOKED GREAT MEAL, then do move along, but, please don't try and slander them with negative reviews (uncle tom effect) some folk don't get this good of a meal at home (yeaa I said it.) And another thing I witnessed as a patron tried throwing dissension in the midst, by offering what might be considered as a PSEUDO Compliment when she stated that one of the staff members should not hesitate when GOD blesses him with an opportunity to remove himself from this blessing of an establishment, telling him that his blessing is not there. That was so disrespectful, as that young man is HIGHLY BLESSED, and what the person who made that comment to him, didn't know, is that, that establishment is initiated, owned, operated by his loving Father, who also works there, giving of time, and energy and showing his Son the positive sides of life and blessing him to comprehend what it is to be an Entrepreneur. That is TRUE LOVE The young man, with true humility, and dedication to his mission, and to his Father, never lost focus, showed respect in acknowledging the customer, as everyone has an opinion, regardless of how off-base, or out of touch it is, he still showed respect. We need to keep SMALL BUSINESSES such as theirs running and functional, instead of just large chains, where they mass produce and offer very little in the way of personal service and great interactions, along with Great Real Foods. On my visit, they were packed and has 18+ guests in attendance, yet, still, reward yourselves with the experience, and PLEASE, Be Patient and Continue to SUPPORT them. Now for the real real!!! Now when it comes to Boba, I generally stick to my regular flavors; Taro, Thai, Jasmine or Oolong so I didn't have any expectations for the Matcha.. but let me tell you, that was the best Matcha Boba tea I've ever had!!! size wise, and it was the perfect amount of sweetness.. already off to a great start. Now, when the salmon roll came, I was surprised at how big those pieces were. It was the most amazing salmon roll.. after the first bite. I was thinking about how I wish I would've gotten another sushi, but it was just the perfect amount for my appetite and it made for such a great light meal. This place is a 10 out of 10 for me!!! For the most part, it's street parking where we found a very good spot and restaurants and stores galore. Let's see how this spot turned out for us. Inside, the decor is very nice. They have a few tables inside and plenty in the outside patio. It's basically a spot that's takeout but if want to dine-in, that's totally fine. And they serve Kung Fu Tea, one of our favorite guilty pleasures that unfortunately closed near us months ago. After a few minutes, we ordered at the counter. Along with a large Strawberry Milk slush, I selected a 5 piece tender combo with a side of crinkle fries. First off, the slush was pretty good. At 50% sugar with boba pearls, it hit the sweet spot very well. It felt like old times when we used to order KFT often. But, the chicken combo itself was underwhelmimg. The food came out hot and ready, but the tenders were tough to break apart either by biting into it or with your hands if you dipped in any of their sauces. Sophia ordered a chicken sandwich and wasn't impressed, saying eating a Chick-Fil-A sandwich is better. That says a lot. I did take some home to eat for leftovers, but like earlier, could've been better. Not to put any bad press on the business, but it was disappointing. Again, it's basically a takeout spot and one for KFT admirers like us. We will come back only for that reason the next time we're around.
