I started coming here when I moved to Williamsburg nearly ten years ago and have loved it ever since. I had never heard of Blaze before, but I tried it on the recommendation of a local friend who told me it was the best pizza I'd ever have. It really is very good--and perhaps most importantly, it's consistently good. You have lots of choices, both in crusts and toppings. You can build your own pizza or choose one of their signature combinations, like the Meat Lovers, and add extra toppings if you wish. The standard crust isn't too thick and has just a bit of char from their very hot oven. The staff is excellent, and even when there's a long line, it moves quickly. From the time you place your order to when your pizza comes out of the oven is only a few minutes. There's plenty of seating inside, or you can opt for takeout. They offer fountain sodas and beer, along with appetizers and salads--and you can even order half pizzas with salads. Overall, it's a great place for pizza--and the prices are quite reasonable, too. read more

I always forget how much I like this build your own pizza place and how you ts great to get a pizza exactly the way you want it! Came bc we had a coupon for buy one free and my husband and I both were able to create pizzas we loved! My pizza was based on a margherita pizza and was just what I wanted. My husband got a thicker crust spicy pepperoni pizza and loved his creation. Even though it was a busy Saturday evening, customer service was still good, and service through the line was efficient. I'd had a very long day between working an 10 hr day at UPS and helping my daughter move afterwards, so I ordered pizzas for dinner. After I ordered I realized I had ordered one wrong and I told the guy cooking the pizzas and it was absolutely no problem. He passed the new order along to the other employees and nobody complained, they just said "we got you!". Their attitude was so amazing because they were very busy. I especially love that you don't get charged extra for what you put on there. I'm a huge fan of their pesto basil drizzle. I also enjoy their garlic knots & their s'mores pies that you can get oven baked, they're a must every visit! The pizza is so filling, I always have leftovers & they always taste delicious even the next day. Service can sometimes be slow, but always pleasant and well worth the wait. Decided to try this after getting hungry from walking around the shopping center. I was expecting this to be similar to Mod Pizza. However it was even better!! My family and I shared one as a snack but we loved it so much we came back the next day to enjoy more pizzas! Loved it!! So tasty. I didn't get full. Very good pizza. We ordered online so we didn't deal with servers but when I went to pick up the pizzas, the guy I asked questions was very polite and helpful. If we were to eat there it's a very casual, family sit down kind of place. My wife and I each had a personal (11") pizza, which was the perfect size. Flavors were spot on. I had the spicy hot chicken pickle pizza with a cauliflower crust. And yes, pickles on pizza doesn't sound great (and I normally don't eat them) but it worked here. My wife had the spicy pepperoni. Blaze is my go-to, all-time favorite pizza place! Their pizza is fresh off the brick oven. There are premade, signature pizzas but you can also make your own. My go-to is the green stripe and I just add onions or extra chicken. It's the perfect personal size but if you're not tooo hungry you can def share with someone as well! I forgot to take a picture of my s'mores cookie (2 Graham cracker cookies almost like a shortbread texture, chocolate and a flat marshmallow) but I ALWAYS get one every time I come here. They offer to heat it up in the fire brick oven so it's more melty when you eat it :) When you enter, it's kind of like chipotle where you order as you make your pizza and then pay after. They give you a number and bring your pizza to wherever you're sitting. You can also order to-go too! They're pretty quick, the most I've had to wait is probably 5 minutes! The place is pretty clean as well. Definitely a great hang out spot or a place to grab to-go. Their flavor is never lacking, their food is always fresh and it's just so yummy. We each orderd an 11 inch pizza; I got the standard vegan crust, no cheese, spicy red sauce, and a ton of veggies - they don't charge for up to 16 - I really piled them on and threw some over a bed of arugula back at the house we were staying at. My partner and her brother both loved their pizzas as well - they chose cheese pizzas with some meats and veggies. Only caveat is that they forgot my BIL's ham. Our son loved his cheese pizza as well! The 11inch is the perfect size for one adult; I had some leftover and our 7yo ate just a couple slices so this size could definitely be shared by kids or those with smaller appetites. Talk about Love at First Bite... Blaze is all the Rage!!! My family visited the Williamsburg Outlets and shopped until we dropped. My daughter had energy to stop into one more store that wasn't near the Outlet area... Victoria Secret is about 15 minutes away from the Outlets. So she shopped in VS...by this time, we are hangry!!! I noticed Bonefish Grill and Opus 9 were nearby, but I saw this orange sign and thought... this looks like a "Bat Call" - I saw Pizza!!! I pulled up the Yelp App and looked up Blaze... the reviews were phenomenal... Parking for this restaurant is directly in front of the restaurant. Therefore, parking was no issue on the Saturday after Christmas about 9pm. We arrived and a handful of customers were dining in. The young lady working up front was super informative and helpful in guiding us through the ordering process... this was our first time! We decided on two pizzas and the two toppings choice for both. There is an option to get unlimited toppings, but we don't need much on our pizza to make it great! Ordering was simple and fast... the other employees behind the counter were friendly and helpful as well as we had other questions and desires... I cannot recall how much two pizzas and four drinks costs, but I do remember it being reasonable. But aside from that, quality is what we were looking for. We were already hungry so anything at this point would be amazing. We decided to dine in the restaurant... about 3 minutes later... the first bite... OMG... the second bite... Yassss... we all love Blaze!! The pizza is super light, yet fulfilling. After we ate two slices, we were already contemplating ordering a third pizza. I think we all ate four slices each and we were full... not miserable, but satisfied. If we ordered a third pizza we would have been so wrong and definitely miserable. Heck we still had the drive home ahead of us. I wholeheartedly recommend you stop in and enjoy some fresh, made to order wood fire pizza! I noticed they sell salads as well and perhaps other entrees too. Outdoor seating is available as well. Fountain drinks... unlimited if you are dining in.
