Set-up for free comic pick-up was easy and smooth. They allowed (3) per person, and the line moved relatively quickly. Much like others here, I've found Greg's to be my favorite store around for comics. It's loaded…read morewith back issues and the staff is always extremely helpful. When asking about a specific comic, you don't get a "point" in the proper direction -- they walk over to the section and hunt down your comic with you and if they don't have it, they offer alternative solutions for you. On top of the great service, they also have great prices. Most of the time they're offering lower-than-cover-price deals, which makes buying here a real treat. To me, Greg's has a real incentive to make me want to drive the extra distance past some other closer comic shops.

"I had this one, wish I kept this one, cannot afford this one" - LOL Greeted as we walked in and told if we had any questions let them know, after that I was left alone to look & bin dive in peace (wife left to go to next door Dollar Tree) . "She really liked the Dollar Tree" so I actually beat her up the car. Just FYI in case your significant other is not a comic nerd. Store had plenty of old stuff & wall items to browse, along with current/new releases. There was some decent bargains to be had. I picked up some not so common books for a $1 so made my experience very good. Friendly Staff who interacted with customers as much as the customer wanted/needed. I am not local, but will definitely visit again my next time in the area. A solid Comic Book Shop !!!

Collector's Choice Comics is my go-to comic shop whenever I'm in the Tempe area. The store is…read morealways well stocked with both new releases and back issues, and it's the only shop I've found that consistently carries a large inventory of Spawn back issues, including several key issues. I've checked out other comic shops around the Valley, but none of them seem to have the Spawn selection that Collector's Choice does. They also have a great selection of graded comics and variants, which makes browsing even more fun. One thing to know before visiting: new releases and back issues are handled as separate transactions. So if you bring a mixed stack to the counter, expect to do one transaction for the new books and another for the back issues. I've never asked why they do it that way, but after shopping here several times, it's just something I expect. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. During my last visit, the owner was interacting with customers by offering 25% off any item in the store to anyone who could correctly answer his random comic trivia question. Nobody got it right while I was there, but it was a really fun way to engage with customers. For the curious, the question was: "What was the final issue of Conan the Barbarian published by Marvel?" Answer: #275. If you're a comic collector--especially a Spawn fan--this place is absolutely worth checking out.

That simple gesture meant a lot and made his day even more special. The store itself was very clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of tables and seating areas where people could sit down, play games, trade, or open their new cards. Their selection is incredible. Whether you're looking for trading card game products, comic books, accessories, collectibles, or just about any other hobby-related item, they have an impressive variety to choose from. It's the kind of store where you can spend a long time browsing because there's always something new to discover. Another thing I appreciated was their pricing. I compared prices with another card shop nearby, and Amazing Discoveries was noticeably more competitive. From booster packs and sealed boxes to even many of the single cards, their prices were generally better, making it an easy choice for where I'd rather spend my money. Overall, Amazing Discoveries delivered everything you'd want in a local game store: a huge selection, fair prices, a clean and welcoming environment, and staff who genuinely care about their customers. The birthday surprise for my son was the icing on the cake, and it's a memory he won't forget. We'll definitely be back!
