I asked him about a comic I've had for years and he knew everything about it and was able to answer my questions WHILE he looked it up and didn't have to WAIT to look it up. Look at my pictures and see all the stuff he has. If you want to go back in time to when you were able to escape into the comic book world, stop by and check this gem of a dying bread and say hi to Todd! I will always find the issue or trade that I'm looking for specifically at Ash Ave. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. I came in one time seeking the Absolute Batman Annual weeks after it was already sold only to find out there was one issue left that they were selling for a higher price point. I believe the owner was the one who offered it to me as soon as I vocalized how badly I wanted it and he kindly gave me a discount! When I was an avid collector, I used to come weekly here because they have some of the best selection of comics in the Valley. And they're pretty personable too. I appreciate business owners who care for their customers and always have a helping hand.

Then I came back and was blown away by the great selection of great issues- new and old. They had a great selection of bronze and silver age comics, Keys and all, and it was a lot of fun to flip through. Some issues they even had duplicates which is nice for price/grade options. Guy at the register (prob the owner) was cool and answered any questions I had about stock and availability. Showed me where stuff was and they were bringing in new stuff and pricing issues as I was there. Definitely will be back

They said they would post who won the raffle the following day. This never happened. They also said if you want to get a refund on your preorder, you need to *e-mail* them (vs them initiating the refund). There's also other reports of customers getting charged post-announcement as well. I've sent an inquiry e-mail days ago with no response. Fortunately, I finally found out that I could cancel the order from the Shopify web page directly (I don't think I saw the option via app) and was able to do so there. Search reddit for Strange Adventures mtg or pokemon to see the extent of the issues.

The best way I can pay homage to a business that was a memorable part of my childhood is to say this is one of the BEST comic book stores EVER. The store has had multiple locations around town back to the first location circa early 1990's. Atomic Comics still serves as a haven where kids of all ages can immerse themselves in fantasy and adventure and stimulate their imagination. The shop has all things comic and pop culture from figures and toys, books and graphic novels, cards and games, clothes and accessories, even a section for manga and anime. The vibe of this place is a clean, fun, safe space where kids can escape and decompress. I would even say it is a therapeutic experience and positive for mental health zoning out to comics. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and personable and willing to strike up a conversation with patrons. If you need another reason to gather here, the store hosts a variety of events and tournaments which you can explore on their website for schedules and info. If there was a nuclear fallout, Atomic Comics would be one place where I wouldn't feel bad about hunkering down. Deciding to come here is not splitting atoms. Do yourself and kids a favor, create memories and make this a tradition with your children like my dad did, and stop in to get your kid to get a comic book (or 2) every week. You'll love it, 3000! I picked up some not so common books for a $1 so made my experience very good. Friendly Staff who interacted with customers as much as the customer wanted/needed. There is no "up and down." This place is a labyrinth designed by someone who said, "What if we hid Narnia behind every dresser?" I got lost at least three times. Possibly four. At one point I genuinely forgot: What I came for, which direction I entered... who I am as a person. Every time I thought I found the "main path," I'd turn a corner and BAM! secret pocket room. Hidden alcove. Side quest unlocked. Now, to be fair, if you are someone who enjoys treasure hunting, rummaging, discovering trinkets you didn't know you needed, and time traveling, this is your Disneyland. There is stuff. So much stuff. Trinkets. Bobbles. Whatnots, galore. Things your grandma had. Things your grandma refused to have. I went in looking for one very specific item. I did not find it. I did, however, find three existential moments and mild spatial disorientation. Did I have a good time? Yes. Did I leave with what I needed? No. Did I briefly consider dropping breadcrumbs to find my way out? Also yes. This store is extremely large so you can definitely be there for a few hours because they have everything that you can imagine! The store is also well spaced out for as big as it is & it's not cluttered like some antique stores can be! On this last visit I completely lucked out because I've been eyeing a figurine in a glass case & it was still there! Well once they took it out & put it in my hands I knew I wanted it.... a Giuseppe Armani figurine so delicately made, I fell in love & the price.... Could not beat! Then on another visit in another locked glass case there she sat.... This gorgeous Sweden " Strombergshyttan " crystal vase of a girl holding a bird cage, underneath the vase is signed & numbered. Yes I basically walked away with a steal, my husband had to tell me to stop smiling! I just love this store, there's such a large selection to choose from for all tastes out there! Mind you it's not in that fancy zip code but do not let that discourage you because sometimes when you drive out of those zip codes that's where's there'll be some extra treasures lingering around!
