You can come and spend the day here. They have table where you can paint your figurines, D&D figurines starting at around $4.00, painting supplies, board games for adults and children, books, snacks and drinks. It's a very large space and it's nice and cool inside.

Huge selection of board games and miniatures. Half a dozen tables for card and board games, and a dozen table gaming tables with terrain.

The staff is fantastic. It was my first time in and they made me feel like a regular. No pressure felt at all. They have a great selection of graded and display cards, as well as a ton of boxes to look throw at a huge range of prices. Loved the vibe inside. Their prices were very fair IMO. People were coming in making trades and selling cards as well. Overall, I can't wait to come back again!

When you're talking about a card shop, I feel like there are a few areas to look at: service,…read moreselection, and overall vibe. Period. Trading Card Club is a relatively small location but comes in big when it comes to those three categories. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and I never once got the sense I was being taken advantage of or was just another customer. They treat my son very well and seem to treat all their young clientele very friendly, which is obviously a key thing that brought us back. You should note that if the shop gets busy, there's limited staff--trading card shops can't have 20 people working the counters--so you may have to be patient. If patience isn't your game, trading cards might not be the right place for you to be anyway, but always enjoy the friendly attitudes and vibes this shop gives off. Whether you're hanging around, opening a box, or just browsing, it's always a chill experience. They also run events and promotions, so keep an eye out for that. And I would note: do your due diligence before bringing in things to sell, because they're not going to buy a giant box of worthless baseball cards, nor are they going to want to comb through 2,000 of your old grandfather's card collection. They will buy solid, valuable assets that they can resell effectively. It is a shop that will obviously give you store credit if desired, which will likely exceed the amount of cash you'll get, but the amount of times I've seen people bring in stuff that they just would never buy in a million years is plentiful. So if you're looking to sell a junk box of cards, I would try Facebook Marketplace and not this shop. Also--side bonus--they have a shop puppy that sometimes hangs out in the front.

Plus every other week their yearn is 30% off so I made sure to come the correct week. Even though their prices have gone up, that still drops to an affordable amount. The aisles were nice and clean. The employees are not always the friendliest although some are. But they are always available to help you find what you are looking for. I found a cute pair of lavender shorts but there was no place to try them on so I went ahead and bought them in the size I thought would fit and brought them home to try, knowing I could take them back if they didn't fit and try another size. I asked about the return policy and the girl told me you have 60 days with the receipt and 90 days without a receipt. I thought that was more than generous. I'm sure I will be back.

Service/Selection 5/5 To be frank, this is my wife's store that I've come to appreciate. While she's of getting picture frames, artwork of other interior design pieces I love to pour over the books and affirmation items. I always find something to grab and save for that time when someone needs their spirits lifted. They have them and I scooped up five! Books, I typically find 2-3 as title change quickly. Scored a big one today. Value 5/5 This is truly a value store, fun inventory at reasonable prices. Marking today's visit harlarious was my dilation. That simple gesture meant a lot and made his day even more special. The store itself was very clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were plenty of tables and seating areas where people could sit down, play games, trade, or open their new cards. Their selection is incredible. Whether you're looking for trading card game products, comic books, accessories, collectibles, or just about any other hobby-related item, they have an impressive variety to choose from. It's the kind of store where you can spend a long time browsing because there's always something new to discover. Another thing I appreciated was their pricing. I compared prices with another card shop nearby, and Amazing Discoveries was noticeably more competitive. From booster packs and sealed boxes to even many of the single cards, their prices were generally better, making it an easy choice for where I'd rather spend my money. Overall, Amazing Discoveries delivered everything you'd want in a local game store: a huge selection, fair prices, a clean and welcoming environment, and staff who genuinely care about their customers. The birthday surprise for my son was the icing on the cake, and it's a memory he won't forget. We'll definitely be back!

There is no reason that a collector has to ask 4+ times to look through the card binders. I collect…read moreYuka Morii cards and asked if any were in the binders. I was told that one binder has damaged cards and the other binder has mostly modern, which somehow means that these cards likely wouldn't be in these. I hear this multiple times at trade shows where vendors directly tell me they do not have cards I'm looking for, and then I point multiple out directly in their case. After pressing a fourth time I'm handed the damaged binder and I find a Yuka Morii card I needed for my collection. I understand this is a combo tabletop and trading card store, but why have so many barriers between the collector and the cards that they are looking for in which 95% of them exist far behind the counters in storage? The only way to find out if they have your cards is by going through an extremely rudimentary search system in the back of the store on machines that feel like they are from the early 2000's where you have to spell the Pokemon's name absolutely perfectly with no way to search by artist. It's disappointing that customers ready to spend money have to interact with card shop workers who make it seem like a grand inconvenience to show cards. After visiting and experiencing 12+ other shops in the valley, my experience with this shop irked me more and more to the point of writing this review. If you go a couple doors down to The Trading Card Club or to Baxter's in Queen Creek, the barrier between the collector and their cards is a pane of glass. On top of that, you feel the passion from the workers. This is the ideal setup. Anything that is more than a pane of glass, such as a bad search system or a worker getting a card from storage for you, lowers the likelihood of that customer coming back and feeling like they'll discover something they are looking for.
