He clearly cared about the customers, the games, and building a place where people actually enjoyed spending their time. Unfortunately, after Jason was gone and Eric took over, my experience with the store changed dramatically. The atmosphere and sense of community that made Desert Games special seemed to disappear, and I felt the way the business was handled ultimately hurt what had been a really great local gaming store. Eric eventually sold Desert Games to Primetime, and by that point it no longer felt like the store I remembered. That was disappointing because, at its best, Desert Games really was something special.

Small store, but nothing super special. Their prices are decent and priced at wholesale, so you'll probably get a good deal with what you buy.
