So this past Sunday, I took advantage of their Brunch. I started my Sunday breakfast with an adult beverage. Their Bloody Mary, has just enough spice to give it a good kick to start your morning. I don't know about you, but I always have to have a cup of coffee as a chaser for my Bloody. I take mine black and strong, to get through the entire day. For my entree, I built my own Omelette with, Spinach, Bacon, Onion and Cheddar Cheese. It was a light golden yellow and was filled with a generous amount of my chosen ingredients. As a side, it came with crispy potato wedges and a small cup of ketchup for dipping. The two paired together, made for an excellent Sunday Brunch. I always sit at the bar, since I usually dine alone and the service was attentive. The bartender was personable and lead the entire bar into a good conversation. I'm glad to be back in STL and I am super glad that my new condo is closer to Polite Society than my last home was. I'm confident I will be once again, be a regular.

The bar was at waging room only and there were no empty tables. The hostess worked her magic and she was able to get us seated before our reservation time. Our waiter did a great job estimating how much food we'd need without under or over ordering. We shared everything. It was amazing. Even the gluten free bread and pasta was delish. And if you have to eat gf, you know how hard it is to get anything traditionally made as gluten free. Yum! Yum! Yum! Excellent.

This visit was no exception to that. I went with the loaded hash brown. This was a unique interpretation of a latke. The hash brown practically covered my entire plate, a nice portion of cured salmon, and a lovely basil yogurt and chili crunch for contrast. I made a fantastic choice. Not only was this a nice portion of food, it tasted amazing as well. I did add a side of the chicken sausage. It actually ended up being too much. This was the perfect way to spend a slow Saturday morning. I plan to stop in soon to visit them for dinner.

My new home is walkable to Crafted, but not in this heat. I look forward to the stroll, once fall gets here. It was a quick visit. I first enjoyed a Dirty Grey Goose Martini. When I was half way through it, I ordered Thai Chili Wings and Truffle Fries. I liked my wings, they were spicy and the sauce was sticky. I'm a stickler for my order having the same amount of flats and drums and Crafted made me happy. The Truffle Fries were a major disappointment. I should have gone with an order of regular fries instead. My Truffle Fries were undercooked, limp and too much Garlic Parmesan sprinkled on top. When I was half way through my wings & fries, I ordered a Manhattan Cocktail, up. I will give credit to the young man bartending, he masterfully made both of my adult beverages memorable. A small detail that I always look for and it makes me smile, is hooks Under The Bar to hang purses and lightweight jackets. Crafted has those, so kudos to them.

Most places ignore this, but everyone that we came in contact with knew and wished us a happy anniversary. Our server (Allie) even had a special treat for us, so we started our night with a champagne toast! She was friendly, attentive and great to talk with. We had a couple of questions that she help answer right away. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we got to sit upstairs away from most of the noise. Now, the food! First, we ordered way too much. We tried the pear and fig flatbread and split a Mayfair salad. The salad was not what we expected but the flatbread was great! Try that if you have the chance! Both of our drinks (the sangria and Sicilian manhattan) were delicious and looked great. Main courses we tried were the smoked pork chop and the cauliflower pasta with grilled chicken. Both had great flavor and were presented well. Not pictured is the flourless chocolate torte that we got to go. This was incredible and super rich! We split it and still thought it was overwhelming, in the best of ways! Great place for special occasion dinners or important lunch meetings!

The So Hip It's Outta Sight made with Blanco Tequila, Green Chile Vodka, Creole Shrubb, Cranberry-Sage Syrup, and Lime. It was sweet and good. I would order either of them again. What a fun place!…read more Since the previous place we went to was on last call, we came and spent the rest of the night here. I had heard from several friends that this was a great place to watch sports games and has a good crowd. While it was late when we came, there were still plenty of people. First off, this place is huge. I almost got lost for a second because it seemed like every turn I went I ended up in a new room. Like the last place, this has a whole section dedicated to darts and pool. There's ample space and TVs in the main part of the bar and throughout. Drink wise, I got my typical three olives grape and sprite and my friend got a beer. He loves this place for the food and the atmosphere. He got an order of wings, fries, and jalapeño Mac and cheese balls. While we were looking for a place to sit, he took me outside in their heated and covered outdoor area. Again, there was ample seating, but best of all, they have a pop-a-shot machine! He ate for a little bit and then we went to play. We had an upcoming night out, and wanted to get drinks. We figured we would finally take the plunge and just do both our meals and drinks at Frazer's. I love the neighborhood Frazer's is in. I like the general vibe of the restaurant. In the past we have had good experiences with the drinks. For us on this night the food experience fell very flat. It started with the cheese/tomato soup that I got with my burger. It was flavorless and tasted like water lightly infused with some tomato and cheese flavor. My medium burger was well done. Maybe even a step past well done, and was not edible. My wife's meal was good, but forgettable. The drinks were still good, but the poor food quality was a huge let down. The last part that dampened the mood was where we sat. They have a modest outdoor patio and then seating on the sidewalk along the front. We had put in a reservation for outdoor seating. As we walked up there was one table on the very far side of the sidewalk seating almost into a parking lot. I turned to my wife and said "I hope that isn't us." It was. It was just an awkward spot. It also mean that our server didn't check in with us that much. So overall, great spot for drinks. Really outstanding drinks. We came right on time and were sat immediately. The inside was lively and buzzing. Right after we were sat, our server came to introduce himself and take our drink order. To start, we each go a Caesar salad, we split an order of calamari, and I got the flower power to drink. I was warned before hand that the drink I chose would be an "experience" but that I should enjoy it. An experience would be an understatement. The salad was good and I loved the croutons, although they were a bit tough. The calamari was quite tasty and seasoned well. As for my drink, let's just say I was NOT prepared. The drink itself wasn't the problem but more so the buzz flower that accompanied it. You're supposed to eat the flower first and then drink. It comes with a glass of prosecco as a palate cleanser but I don't feel as though it did much. I'd say that flower kicked in within 15 minutes and ultimately, that's when things took a turn. At first it felt like pop rocks in my mouth and then I started to feel awful. While the chaos was going on, I managed to eat my blackened salmon, which was delicious. The slaw was so-so and I could have done without the beans and rice. All in all, we had a lovely visit aside from the drink. Our server was fantastic, the food was top notch, and I really enjoyed the ambiance.
