I have never used fluff and fold services, and I struggle with social anxiety. So trying a new service at a new venue was already nerve wracking for me. On top of that, I have lost my aunt to cancer and granny to stroke within the last six months. This weekend we had to care for my uncle in the Bay Area who had a cerebral hemorrhage and they gave him 4 weeks left to live. Needless to say, I was in dire need of help and Laundry Guys came through. The female attendant at 10pm on 6/23/2026 was so kind and warm. She patiently explained all my options, the process and costs. I felt confident leaving this task in her hands. And the price was very fair for the volume! When I got home and unpacked the clean clothes, I felt a weight lift off. The clothes were given a second life, and softer and well-scented more than I could have imagined! As a dog owner, I chalked it up to having a busy pet life. But apparently, I should leave it to the experts! The clothes were folded as I would have, so I was able to quickly slip my clothes into the drawers. I appreciate the pre-hung clothes as well. This service quality is deserving of the price. During a phone call, we discussed a "Friday or Saturday" pickup. The woman said they could have the tailoring completed by Friday (five days, including the day of drop-off), that it would cost $22 per pair of pants, and that she would quote the shirts upon my arrival. When I arrived, while I was waiting, she handed a batch of clothes to another customer. As the customer was partially out the door, she interrupted them to reclaim several articles she had mistakenly given them that belonged to a different customer. After finishing with that customer, she answered my question regarding the shirt repair, saying it was not something to repair and that I should return the shirt to the seller. Moments later, she said she could try to fix it. We then discussed tailoring my pants. I asked for her opinion on the length since it was a style of pant I had not worn before. I showed her some reference photos and explained that I wanted them to look good because they were meant to impress my girlfriend. She mentioned sending pictures to my girlfriend for her opinion. I replied that it was a good option but that I could probably gauge the correct length once I saw the pants on. She stepped away for a moment. I called my girlfriend to check her availability. The woman then said from across the room that it would be an extra $8 per pair of pants. I asked why. She said it was because they were "different pants" and that "this was taking long." I said that was too expensive because my regular tailor, who was simply unavailable that day, charges less than their starting price. She told me to go to my regular tailor. I then asked about the shirt repair. She said it was probably better to have it done there as well. I thanked her and left. Regretfully, I will not be recommending this company under most circumstances. I will be returning to my regular tailor at The Hanger Dry Cleaning on 4th when they are available.

After some back-and-forth, she finally took the bags and told me they would be ready on Saturday. I waited for a text all day Saturday, but never heard anything. Not wanting to be a bother, I waited until Sunday to follow up. I called multiple times Sunday morning starting at 10:21 AM, 10:23 AM and 12:01 PM but every call went straight to voicemail. When I finally reached someone at 2:26 PM, it was Miriam. She informed me that she had just started her shift and discovered that the person responsible for my laundry had completely skipped over my order.
