I looked on Yelp to find a good dry cleaner. My beautiful Black Velvet Evening Coat had gotten something spilled on it. Lumpen Cleaners came up with a 5 Star rating and great written reviews. They are located in Belmont Shore, in the former Norge Cleaners location. The owners/staff were so nice and friendly when I came in. We went over the problem area that needed attention. They assured me that it was quite treatable. I left the coat Thursday afternoon, with an anticipated pick up on Monday. Friday morning I received a message that the coat was ready and that I could come get it. When I returned, Friday afternoon, the owner remembered me and knew right where my coat was. I never understood those people who took their stuff to the cleaners faithfully but now i understand completely. I can bring things to be cleaned without any faith that they will be able to restore those items and they have. Shoes that were stained and i thought were done for & they restored them - suede shoes at that. my furry white pants with black rimmed stains from walking around in them & they get them out like they were never there. I was looking for a dry cleaning facility for both my wedding gown and wedding lehenga (very difficult to find a place that is familiar with the intricacy of the beadwork and fabric) and came upon Limpah Cleaners through a yelp search around my area. After reviewing the reviews, I knew it was the place to get my most precious dresses cleaned-- and I was right! Not only are they the sweetest people ever, they also fixed one of the tassels on the skirt and did such a great job cleaning the hem that both dresses look brand new! It was expensive to get cleaned, but that is expected for the type of clothing and service they provide. I definitely recommend and will return again for my dry cleaning needs. read more

Second time here as they did a great job alternating and cleaning my dress wool coat. This time brought in 2 formal dresses to be cleaned and pressed (never worn) for a wedding where we're part of the wedding party mot guests. Upon prepping for transport, one of the dresses is totally messed up. The pleats are drooping because they probably pulled it too tight and detached the threads. Then looks like they tried to fix using white thread. Not gonna bother taking it back there for them to fix (or ruin it more)! They and everyone else can read and see it here. So upset and disappointed. Taking it to an actual seamstress to salvage. read more

They were able to remove all the stains and made the dress look brand new. More recently, I dropped off my wedding dress, a white dress, and my mom's skirt (which had multiple oil stains) for cleaning on a Tuesday. I was originally quoted a two-week turnaround, but to my surprise, I received a text just three days later letting me know everything was ready. Every item came back spotless and looked fresh and perfectly pressed. Parking is convenient -- there is metered parking right out front, a small lot with a few spaces behind the shop on Glendora Ave, and a paid lot nearby. What can I say about this in imposing dry cleaners except for that it lives up to its reviews. Right on 2nd street, this Dry cleaners has surprisingly good value compared to others that I had been to. The owners are responsive and I like that they are eco friendly. When I dropped off my suit, vest, and tie; I really like that they take off 10% if you prepay. Secondly when I went to pick up my clothes, I still saw a stain on my tie and brought it up to their attention. They let me know that they could do a spot cleaning, but was concerned about possible discoloration. I gave my consent and it came back out beautifully free of charge.
