Watch out with taking your silk clothing to this place for cleaning. Their machines tore a big tear in my silk top, and no compensation was offered. When I said that it's probably a good idea to never have your silks cleaned at dry cleaners, she agreed. Then she even forgot to get the alteration part of my order, and I had to ask her for my alteration. Definitely crossing this one off my list and never returning. Their machines are too harsh with clothing. read more

Picked up a dress and a shirt and my initial bill was over$45. I said for what? They said for alterations. In order to dry clean my dress, they had to remove a decorative stone. No once called. No one asked permission. I asked how much the shirt was and it was over $9. That's expensive for a plain button down shirt. And this is the second time I got charged for something I didn't ask for. He took the extra $16 alteration off my bill, but $35 in cleaning for two pieces? read more

I have been using Betty Brite Cleaners for over 25 years and started at the Broadway location and use the Naples/Belmont Shore location. They always do a great job with my clothes and I can count on them for identifying and making repairs if necessary. What really sets them apart is the personal service I receive from the staff, especially Sophia and Joe! Sophia sees me walk up and starts getting my clothes and always greets me by name. She provides excellent service and always goes above and beyond to make sure I get my clothes when I need them. I don't see Joe as often, but when he's there, he always greets me by name, as well. I am in the service business, as well, and I can always count on Betty Brite to do an excellent job and the personal treatment is to be commended. Thank you Betty Brite for always helping me look my best! read more

I've been coming here for years, and was already happy with them, but they managed to exceed my expectations! I had to have a dress dry cleaned for an out of town wedding leaving only two days to have it cleaned. I checked their operating hours and realized I only had 10 minutes to get there. In a panic, I called ahead and asked them not to close until I got there. Oscar told me not to worry that he would wait for me. Wow! that was so kind! They deserve another star for that level of customer service. read more

Wow, excellent service! So impressed. I worked with Sophia. I had a shirt with a couple holes from tags, she said she can see but it might not look that great. Not only did it come out looking wonderful, she did for a extremely great price. I'll be back soon! read more

Sofia makes Betty Brite a special place where I have received excellent customer service for years. She is the smiling, efficient face who greets me by name and remembers me and my family. She is so kind and attentive and helpful; they have large clientele, and I know she works very hard. Clothes get back to you quickly if you need them, clothes never have that chemical smell, they are stain magicians, and the quality has stayed consistent over the many years I have been regularly dropping off slipcovers, gowns, cashmere coats, my husband's shirts, bedspreads, upholstered pillows, embroidered or beaded dresses or blouses, you name it! read more

I been going here for some time and is honestly the best I can go too. Sofia is always so helpful especially in my last minute events and need my clothes done. I have gone other times when lupita is there and she is so rude. So I make sure when I go I get sofia. Super awesome person. Thank you for always helping me, keep up the good work. read more

I started coming here about a year ago for my boss, as I am a personal assistant. From the first time coming in I have been greeted by Sofia with a smiling and welcoming face. She has become a part of my every week and I am so grateful and look forward to seeing her. I have had the best service, communication, and experience. Everything has come out clean and/or fixed as we have dropped off multiple items that needed repairs. The location is convenient and easy to park and pick up and be on your way. I now bring all of mine and my husbands clothes here to be cleaned and repaired as well. I highly recommend Betty Brite cleaners! read more

I was referred to Betty Brite from my girlfriend Elaine. I was a little nervous because I was taking in 2 christening gowns that were heavily beaded. Sophia reassured me that they would take good care of the garments and that I would be totally satisfied. She saw how apprehensive I was and took the time to call me and let me know the progress on the gowns. Everything came out beautifully and I would definitely use them again. Great customer service! Thank you Sophia for taking such good care of me! read more

I like to give my business to my local community. So I chose Betty Brite cleaners. Their cost was on the higher side but they agreed to pick up and deliver so it worked for me. My last bill with them was for more than $400. However there was one garment which had spots and I had requested Angel to see if they could clean the spots. They couldn't. They returned the garment with all my other clothes and said nothing about it. When I noticed it I called them to see if they could atleast give me a discount just for that garment. They had charged me $20 for that garment. Angel was a little rude on the phone. I asked to speak to the owner but the manager said he is not available to talk to me. How can a small business run successfully if the owner is not available to speak to his clients? She said she would give me a 10%discount on my next order. Really! With a bill of more than $400 they could not give me discount on $20? Well I am not going back there again. read more

Such a wonderful cleaners. Very good with the clothes and such great customer service. Sofia always goes above and beyond.

Wonderful service and quality dry cleaning. However, I just went there to drop off clothes at 6:50pm when they close at "7:00pm" and they were all locked up. No one there at all. read more

It's easy to take things like Dry Cleaning for granted, but trust me, a bad dry cleaner can be hell. And this is why I go to Betty Brite on Second Street in Long Beach. Both Joe and Sophia are sweet as pie and never say no to whatever I need. They know me by name and how I like things done which is rare in customer service these days. I can get my clothes back the same day if I need to and their quality of work is excellent. There are dry cleaners that are closer to me and probably less expensive but I wouldn't trade them for any one. read more

Lost my business when you close 5 minutes early. It Is all about customer service. Can't depend on you. I will go someplace that keeps there posted hours. Bye now. (September 10, 2016) Again, I gave them a chance. Again, they closed 10 min early so I could not pick up my clothes. They do clean clothes well. They are expensive. They close early (different than posted times) and people with a schedule can not depend on them. I believe in buying local, but you have to keep to your hours. read more
