My sister needed a suit and shirt dry cleaned for a last minute event and we were not able to get out of work until at least 6pm so we were scrambling to find a cleaners that 1. Stayed open long enough to drop off and pick up and 2. Be able to dry clean the said garments in 2 days. There was a cleaners closer to my house that told me they could absolutely not have it done by the requested time so I searched again and found this place. Listen Linda- I hurried over here and they said no problem! I was so relieved! But we had to wait for the final results... so we waited for our pick up date and time. I came here because the reviews said it was a great location. I brought 4 jackets that came out to $60. When I dropped off the jackets I had confirmed with the lady how much it would be. I even double checked and thought she said $16!!! Not once did I think my 4 jackets would come out to $60 in total. I'll never be coming back here again. Find somewhere else to go because $60 is insane pricing for 4 regular jackets. Only one was a work jacket the other 3 items were regular items. Nothing special. read more

If you show up with a large item like beddings or curtains, they always provide a nice plastic bag to take your item home with. I brought my curtains to Creighton's to be cleaned. I've used them in the past, and never had a problem. I'd had the curtains for about a year, and decided to have them cleaned before I put them up in my new house. When I took them down at my old house, they were fine. After I paid and picked them up, I noticed several of the grommets were damaged and the fabric around them was torn. I requested a refund, as the curtains are no longer usable. I was told they couldn't refund me, and that they, as they pointed to a sign above the counter, weren't responsible for damage to the "ornaments" on items. In total, eight of the grommets were pulled away from the fabric, and one was almost completely ripped out. I paid $300 for the curtains, and spent $100 to clean them, only to receive damaged goods. They offered to refund $50, but that's nothing compared to what I've spent for something I can no longer use. The lady told me to contact the company I bought them from to see if they could rectify the situation, and basically put the problem of the damage they caused back on me. They lost a customer by refusing to fix a problem caused by them. In my line of work, if we mess up an order, we make it right by fixing the problem or by offering a refund. Do yourself a favor and find a better dry cleaner. read more

For alterations only!! Needed a dress for my son's graduation altered. Found this through Yelp. Initially, walked up to check things out. The dry cleaners near my home had changed owners. Gina is gone. After seeing the THREE sewing machines, including a Juki, I realized this lady was a legit seamstress. The sides needed to be taken in, & the voluminous sleeves taken in a bit as well. While waiting in line, I realized my cousin's husband was standing in front of me. They have been happy with their cleaning & alterations. That's enough of a recommendation for me. As it seems, every places has good and bad reviews, which is normal. I am very happy that I gave Creighton's Cleaners a try. The owner, Heaju is very friendly and professional. She treats every customer like a long time customer. Their alteration service is quick, really well done and the price is reasonable. Their dry cleaning service is also very good. I highly recommend this place for all your needs. As I mentioned before, every business has good and bad reviews because it's very subjective. But my view is that with a good owner, it makes all the difference. She cares for her customers, always greets with a smile. Someone like this will more likely to work with you if in an unfortunate event that someone goes wrong(which I hope it never happens). read more

When Gemma and Peter bought the business several years ago, the quality of the cleaning has been even better than previously, and it was very good then. A HUGE benefit is Gemma's delightful personality and her genuine care for their customers. She is one of those people that everyone loves. Been here twice for same day cleaning. They aren't the friendliest bunch but they get the job done. I came in on a weekday for same day cleaning and also paid to have 2 holes sown on my pair of pants. I picked up my pants and took it home without checking to make sure they did the job correctly. My mistake! I came home and noticed they only repaired one of the 2 holes. Had to bring it back to get fixed again. Although the lady fixed it quickly, still a pain to have to come back. I go here for easy alteration jobs (hemming, shorten sleeve, repair zipper) and the seamstress has always done a great job. The alteration prices are very reasonable and she usually turns it around in about 2-3 days. I recently brought in some jeans to be hemmed and decided to give them a go at cleaning my husbands shirts as well. They originally wanted to charge $3/shirt, which was $1 more than I usually pay. But when I told them I was going to go elsewhere, she offered to do them for $2/each. Said she wanted to show me how good of a job they do. Well, sadly I was not impressed. The pressing job was good, however they had a really foul smell to them. Not sure if it was the cleaning solution or a residue from the iron or what but they smell awful. Kinda like B.O.? I can't figure it out. Anyway, won't be bringing anymore dry cleaning here needless to say. Alterations are great though! Note: they are NOT open on Sundays. read more

One star because you can't leave no stars!!! TERRIBLE customer service!!! Took work in for the seamstress on Tuesday morning. Left a sample, even. Got called Friday night by someone at cleaners, saying she was really busy and could my order wait till next week, I replied, no, as I said when I dropped it off on Tuesday, I must have it for Sunday, so I need to pick up on Saturday. She hung up on me. I called today to see if it was ready. They said yes. Am picking up my stuff, now. Trim was put on upside down on all 4 pieces. I asked for excess material back they asked if I'd said I wanted it back, I said no, I didn't know I needed to, couldn't find it, they called "Papa", apparently since last night it's been tossed out. Price was $35, reduced it to $30 and asked if that was ok, I said no, reduced it to $25. ABSOLUTELY, some of the worst customer service, ever!!! Stay away from this place. I can only comment on the woman who does alterations, but she did a quick repair of a zipper on a Ex Officio hooded shirt while I waited. She quickly fixed the zipper and put in several stitches to prevent it from coming undone again. It only cost me a few dollars to save a favorite shirt. read more

That's it! I finally had it with this cleaners. I've been going here for the past year or more. They were ok in the beginning and, a few months after, I noticed that their prices were inconsistent. I let it go for a while until I ask the lady why the price for my laundered shirts are not the same. She was shock. I think she's been adding a few bucks or so. She said some shirts are different price. But they are all the same shirt, same brand, same material. This cleaner is dishonest about their pricing. Time to look for another cleaners. I just picked up my son's Alpha jacket from Creighton Cleaners. The lapel pins were in place (my mistake) when I dropped off the jacket. The pins were missing when I picked up the jacket. When I asked them for the pins, they denied any knowledge of them. The man behind the counter absolutely refused to even LOOK for the pins. Have had plenty of pants altered here and for my family. Top-notch work and the price is amazing at $8.00 per pants. I also take weekly dry cleaning here. It seems the more pieces taken, the cost goes down. The staff always does a great job. Anything taken in with a stain, comes out with the stain gone. The cleaning and pressing is 100% excellent. I have dealt with the entire family that works here and I have always found them to be polite and helpful. My wife was walking by the cleaners having just existed the next-door Vons one day. One of the employees called out to get her attention and then wished my wife a Happy Mother's Day. I am sure we could find a less expensive place, but we trust these people. They take their jobs seriously. They always have a bowl of candy year-round on the counter. If my beloved and wonderful wife sees this, no I have never had any of the candy. Okay, I had one piece.
