brought a really nice sweater in with a small coffee stain and when I went to pick it up they had ripped a hole in the sweater and tried to sew it shut without telling me. they gave handed me the sweater without telling me and caught I them in a lie saying they didn't do anything. the daughter of the owner told me I should take better care of my items with intense attitude. I left the sweater there to talk to the owner, her mom. they had removed the stitching to then try and cover up their lie even more. apparently if they ruin your clothes they don't take ownership. poor customer service and poor ethics as a business. read more

Walking in the heatwaves of the Press Ironing I was asked if this was the first time ? Yes I responded. I let her know that I was not sure were to go, but Yelped the establishment and read good reviews. I asked what her name was and she said Blanca, I adv that I needed to drop off these Garments . She asked do they need washing? I said no I don't need them washed. I just need them Pressed, since they are brand new . I dropped off : three dresses 2 men's pants and 2 two men dress shirts. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I've been patronizing this cleaners for almost 20 years, passing many others from Signal Hill to get here. I had a denim Coca Cola jacket dry cleaned and it appears they washed it and used a dirty iron full of starch! Now my jacket looks dingy white and faded red....AND I ONLY WORE IT TWICE. The owner offered to clean it again and I asked what was done the first time. She said it was dry cleaned. I asked why would I allow you to further ruin it, and snatched it from her because she messed it up. Stop RUINING PEOPLE'S CLOTHES! I should have known when the fresh airy scent left with the previous owner and it's now filled with stuffy, starchy and Lowkey stale smell. Take your nice clothes here at your own risk. I took my dry cleaning and 3 pairs of pants for hemming. The dry cleaning bil was about average considering what I had. They were very delicate items. My hemming, however, cost me more than I paid for all three pairs of pants togather. I asked them to replicate a Jean hem and a specialty hem on another pair of jeans and the 3rd was just a regular stitch hem. The charge was 64 dollars. Which brought my bill to 114 dollars. Just absolutely rediculous. Never again. I went to another tailor and asked what it would cost they gave me a price of about 40 dollars. This business is good for dry cleaning but stay away from the tailoring. read more

Unfortunately my dress was SUPER HUGE on me and unwearable. It was a size 14 and I needed to have it altered down to a size 8. Blanca asked if I could return the dress and when I told her I wouldn't receive a new one in time for the wedding, she proceeded to explain that she would do her best.
