MILITARY STRIPE PRO's! If you need a new stripe or patch added - this is your spot. They know exactly what to do and the finished product will look amazing! WHAT ABOUT REGULAR DRY CLEANING? Also amazing! My suit and military uniform came out spotless and without a single wrinkle! PRICING Pretty fair! I'm not a person that uses dry cleaning very often so all I can say is that the price was fair considering how perfect everything came out. But it definitely stung the old pocket book a little! Again, everything was PERFECT tho! They will tell you your price upfront so there are no surprises! FRIENDLY & FAST SERVICE Easy to drop off, quick grasp of what I needed done, and a super quick turnaround! :) read more

This place ruined my cashmere sweater and was unwilling to compensate for damages beyond a refund for the cleaning...that ruined the sweater. I understand that things happen, but it was so disappointing to have such a condescending, rude conversation with no resolution. If they ruin your item, they won't compensate at all! read more

As I'm sitting here in shock I write this review with so much gratitude towards this place. Sometimes life can just be kicking you down , and then great things happen to remind you to always keep your head up. I came here with my military Marine uniform , and not only was it done to standard it was done with great service. The kind gentleman who works here helped me get my new Sgt dress blues and Charlie's uniform ready to go in quick time! He was also very friendly and understanding with my concerns about it being done right. He called me , updated me it was ready to go, and when I arrived... my Apple Pay wasn't working and I didn't have my card. He kindly just did it free of charge. And said "It is a pay it forward kinda thing" What an unexpected surprise... God is good and so is this shop. I will have my entire unit coming here when they ask me where to go for Marine Alterations/readiness. Thank you so much and please know I will pay it forward as well. 10/10 experience that almost left me , a Marine , with a tear. Till next time ! ‍ read more

This is my new favorite dry cleaning business. They do quality work that's well worth the cost, which is quite a value compared to other local dry cleaners I've tried. I've heard it's a family outfit & it shows. I highly recommend to others! read more

I've had multiple shirts and trousers altered here and they always exceed my expectations!

The absolute best, they work miracles, even when given a tight deadline. Forever loyal to Seal Beach Cleaners.

Seal Beach Cleaners has Porky glowing! And they got him back to me very quickly (as he is super special to me and we have separation anxiety). I dropped Porky off around 4PM on Monday and has him back Tuesday morning. Thank you so much for making Porky feel comfortable spending the night with you! Porky is already looking forward to his next visit with his friends and Seal Beach Cleaners. read more

I'm a new customer to SB cleaners but will now be a customer for life! The owner John gave me the best customer service and was able to get the stains out I had on my button shirts. He was even able to clean my hats which I always wear playing golf and made them look brand new so I didn't have to buy anymore. I definitely recommend SB Cleaners for all your dry cleaning needs! read more

Long story short, my Fiancé ordered a Suit online for our wedding and it Arrived 3 days before the big day. The Lovely Family at Seal Beach Cleaners understood how time sensitive and important this order was. The pants were too small around the waist and needed to be pressed and cleaned. A tall order so close to the deadline. They were SO helpful and their friendly attitude really made us feel like we did not need to worry about getting it done on time. Not only did they get the job done, they exceeded any and all expectations with the alterations. They even pressed an extra jacket for us last minute. They are truly masters of their craft and they have earned our business for life. read more

Great service, finished a curtain and pillow project and it looks so good. Thank for everything!

My family has been coming here for years since the original owners. Now that they've retired and their son John has taken over, the quality of their work, and their customer service has gotten even better! John is always super friendly and kind, and I highly recommend this place to anyone with any dry cleaning needs. Plus it's right on Main Street in Seal Beach with lots cool businesses all around. Love this spot! Thank you for serving our community. read more

If you are Asian and petite like me, you probably have difficulty finding clothing in US sizes that fit you. And if you are Asian and frugal like me, you don't turn down free clothing that your kind coworkers give to you as a hand-me-down. Combine all of those and you get a beautiful BCBG lace dress that does not quite fit you. Fortunately, Heather knew exactly what to do and wasn't afraid of the challenge of working with lace fabric. For $45, she took in a little bit at the chest area and it fit like a glove. She did a good job -- you can't even tell it was worked on. For customer service, it was ok. Not the warmest experience but that seems to be the case from most tailors. I would go back. read more

Seal Beach Cleaners is truly awesome! Heather, John and their family are so friendly and knowledgeable, plus they do all their work on site (no sending it out to some cleaning factory) so they have great service and attention to detail that you won't find at most other cleaners. I've had things cleaned, repaired and altered here and I've never been disappointed. They truly are the best in Seal Beach and I recommend them to everyone. read more

Seal Beach Cleaners - Best in Seal Beach! - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Seal Beach, California

He is always friendly and helpful with my cleaning. Each item, from shirts to rugs, has been thoroughly cleaned and ready to go.

Used them for the last 12 years. Great service, friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend!

Esther is the best. She goes out of her way to do things correctly. Example: I had her dry clean a California king size comforter and she took the extra step of quilting the areas between the ties. She used great big stitches but it made all the difference. No bunched batting. Comforter came out perfectly. read more

First class service!!! They really went the extra mile to guarantee me a quick turnaround time.

I have a king size down comforter from Costco for which I paid $120.00. It needed cleaning. I called several local cleaners, and received a quote for $50.00 to $55.00. Betty Brite - a Long Beach staple for decades quoted $50.00. Seal Beach Cleaners quoted $55.00, but since we live in Naples and are in SB often, I thought I would give them the business. I should have gone to Betty Brite. When I picked up the comforter, the owner said "it is $72.00." I was shocked! I said, "but I was quoted $55.00!". the owner said "it's king size". I said, I know what size my comforter is and I was quoted $55.00!" The owner said "we thought you said "queen size". So there you go. I was forced to pay $72.00 or no comforter. I will never do business there again. It's called "bait and switch!" read more

I went here yesterday to have a leather motorcycle jacket cleaned. I is a 100 yr Harley Davidson anniversary i bought in 2003 . The women at the counter I think was the owner told me the jacket was made from very good leather and not to have it cleaned. I was shocked . She told me the leather feel would be affected if i had it cleaned and a few other things. I asked her about six other various things and she gave me all of the answers with a smile. I hope to find more places like this. There is not to many business where you walk in expecting to spend money and leave with out spending a dime and walk away with a smile on your face. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I wish I could give zero stars. I got a formal dress hemmed here. I was greeted and helped by a woman who was in charge of alterations. She quickly and efficiently marked where she would hem the dress with pins. I left and picked the dress up within a week. Great turnaround time. But when I was about to try on the dress I noticed that she had taken it upon herself to cut and alter an overlaying piece of fabric that ran diagonally down the front of the dress. I had not agreed to this alteration and the thread was noticeably different and there was minor puckering of the fabric. I also noticed some thick white thread at the bottom and the altered hem at the bottom was coming undone. She had not altered the dress properly and she had left thread that is used to help with the "final press", according to her son. I needed the dress for an event the next day and when I returned to have the dress properly fixed, she was unavailable. Her son refused to offer a refund even though the work was not properly completed. He insinuated I did something wrong or snagged the dress for the hem to come undone. Horrible customer service! In desperation and extreme frustration, I began to cry because I needed the dress right away for an important event. He finally agreed to do a temporary fix, free of charge. Hours later, I picked the dress up. Looked fine. It was truly a temporary fix because the stitching came undone during the event and the dress was dragging 3 inches worth of extra fabric in the back. After several attempts to get any type of refund or credit or sincere apology, I have resorted to a bad yelp review. Hopefully this doesn't happen to any other customer. read more

Seal Beach Cleaners gives great results at an awesome price! I been to other dry cleaners, but this place is truly the best! They even fixed the ear on my childhood teddy bear, even though that isn't something they would normally do! I recommend them to all of my friends! read more

We have been taking our dry cleaning here for over a decade. We love our friendly they are, that they are a small-family, owned business and how our clothes have never come back in nothing but better condition than when we handed them over. However, the most important thing for us is that our clothes do not come back with a chemical smell. I am chemically sensitive and needed a place that uses more environmentally friendly and "green" cleaning and they do. They have been providing this type of cleaning before it was even heavily sought after or trendy. I appreciate that. read more

How anyone could possibly complain about Heather and her dedicated work, professional attitude, beautiful smile and the HIGH QUALITY of her mending and alterations, is way beyond me. Maybe that person should take her stuff to Compton or East L.A. I always give Heather a long hug when I am there and she not only loves it, but she DESERVES it! As a divorced male I don't even waste my time sewing buttons back on. Everything Heather does, is top-notch. Basta! Ever since Heather opened her store, I have been a loyal and dedicated customer from the first day on. I carry her business cards with me and pass them out to my friends. Some of her customers (my friends) come all the way from Huntington Beach and Costa Mesa to take their cleaning and mending to Heather. Heather, you are a sweetheart and thank you for all of fine work! We love you!!! read more

Only been here once, but it will not be the last. I had a pretty last minute fairly simple pants hemming job, but wow, the attention to detail and quality of the work (at a fair price as well)! I also had an intransigent food stain (luckily, in cotton) which they took out perfectly. That would be more than enough, but the sheer wonderfulness of all three people I have met here (John the owner, the co-owner/seamstress who I assume must be Heather, and their son John) puts it into the "I wish I could award six stars" category. I wish I had known about them years ago, and will be shamelessly pitching them to everyone I know who is remotely local. read more

I love this place. The location, the quality of work and the owners are just as nice as nice can be. I have taken many articles here for cleaning, washing, and alterations. Each time I am very satisfied . It's tucked in a little alley off Main street. Sometimes parking can be a little cramped . The owners(and I am sorry to say I don't know their names) are extremely helpful. I usually have a laugh of some sort about something or nothing at all with them.I just glanced at another review and the woman's name is Heather. Well Heather , If you read this, it's Donna. Thank you for your great work and the orange skirt you took up last week is perfect!!! read more

I highly recommend this place. A while back I was looking for wedding dress preservation service and they did an excellent job! Now my dress is all boxed up pretty :). They also got it done sooner than the expected timeline which is always a nice bonus. Very nice people, go and give them a visit if you need any cleaning service done. I definitely plan too! read more

MILITARY FRIENDLY!! If you need quality service without breaking the bank here is where you need to go. Need to pass inspection but got that stubborn stripper stain? No problem, they will strip that stain off without hurting your wallet like that bar did last night. I got ripped off somewhere else. One of my patch tailored else where was 20 bucks. HERE I got three rockers and two dry cleaning for 35 bucks out the door. YMMV. THAT'S a deal!! The old couple there are hella nice. They even save old patches so that if for some reason your broke ass didnt buy any they got you covered. This place is lit. Who the fuck gave this place a 1 star? Heather will take the best care of you. She warns you if what you're asking is a tall order and ask before she risks anything. Super friendly and the place underwent a completely environmentally friendly revamp a year or two ago. She does safe cleaning, great alterations, and will work with you on price (for example, to save money she sewed the pocket of a jacket from the inside of the pocket, rather than cutting open the lining and doing it "properly" from inside the jacket.) read more

My wife and I dropped our wedding dresses off here to be cleaned and preserved. Heather and her family are so nice & very professional! They're truly the best. I don't know what I would do without Heather at Seal Beach Cleaners. She has saved me more times than I can count. Outstanding service, I needed an immediate alteration, to have service stripes placed on a dress uniform for a funeral the next day. I tried two other dry cleaner/alteration shops in the area to no avail. I searched yelp and found Seal Beach Cleaners, I don't use dry cleaner's often and had never been there before, I called and the lady that answered said that if I could come right over she would take care of it. It was taken care within 30 min while I waited. Saved me from having to sew it on by hand. read more
