A couple weeks ago, we had a tornado come through, and we ended up having 16+ trees come down on our property. We were devastated. One of the trees fell directly on our house onto our front porch, and the others landed in our driveway, completely blocking entry and exit access for us. After calling a couple local companies, no one was willing to come out and look at it for at least a couple of weeks, and another company wanted to charge us $30k+ just to use a crane for removal of just the ONE tree on the house. I am pregnant and felt completely overwhelmed and worried for our safety. The front porch was beginning to make popping noises because of the weight of the tree, and I knew I had to get someone out to help us soon. I grew up in Cumming, GA and knew 770 Bam was a very reputable company. I called Robert up on Friday afternoon and told him my situation, and the very next day, Saturday, he was at our house analyzing the job with two other guys. Again... our house is 4.5 hour drive from Cumming, GA and they had no qualms about making the trip out here to help me out. On Sunday morning, he had a full team assembled to tackle the job. He had numerous trucks, chippers, a crane, and at least 12 guys onsite for us. It was a huge job for them, but they didn't skip a beat. If you need any sort of tree work done on your house, PLEASE do yourself a favor and call on 770 Bam. Their attention to detail and willingness to always put their customer's safety first and foremost is something that is hard to find these days. We are customers for life! :)

On the day of my appointment I met Milton and Raphael who promptly arrived at the time of my appointment. They made sure I understood the process as well (i.e, stump grinding and how it is handled by a third party who will come on a later date, how they planned on removing the trees, etc.) they're very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable! You can tell Milton has A LOT of experience and reliable references. The great part of Milton being so knowledgeable is the way he explained everything for me (who knows nothing about trees or tree service) he made it so easily for me to understand. On the day of removal they arrived promptly, Raphael knocked on my door to let me know they were going to begin the job. I HAVE NEVER WATCHED SUCH AN AMAZING PROCESS IN ALL MY YEARS OF LIVING. I allowed they to drop the trees on my yard for a faster process, and my goodness was it fast! They roped up the first tree, dropped it and while some of the crew was working on the fallen tree, the rest started roping the next tree. Both of my large trees were down faster than I anticipated. Clean up was beautiful, and thorough to me, they went above and beyond. For them, that's the service that every client should receive and deserves. The saying you get what you pay for rings true for A-Plus, and their name is the service they provide, A-Plus! Stump grinding was scheduled for two days later, and they did a great job as well. What you need to know: * HONEST * PUNCTUAL * KIND AND GENUINE STAFF * KNOWLEDGEABLE * PROFESSIONAL * WORTH EVERY PENNY. I would never hire another tree service company and I wouldn't recommend anyone else other than A-Plus they are truly amazing.

They took care to protect our yard as much as they could. I would use then again. Some of the others we contacted were arrogant, too pricey, or couldn't provide a detailed estimate. John came out really quickly and gave me an estimate, and he was very professional. I ended up on a waiting list as there were many more urgent trees ahead of mine (trees on houses, etc). It took just over a week to get mine worked in (9/12 was the quote date, and the work was done this morning - 9/21), and he showed up promptly at 8am (the scheduled time). The downed tree was hanging about 15-20 feet over my vegetable garden (it was not fully on the ground), and they were extremely careful in not damaging any of my plants. I was really impressed with how much care they put into their work. There was one small mishap with a trunk coming down on my fence, but while they pulled down the next tree, someone ran to the hardware store to get a new top rail for my fence, and before they left it was back up and nobody will know that it was ever damaged. The big pine they took down was a monster (80+ feet tall), and it fell exactly where he said it would. They cut everything up in small chunks that we can easily move (we requested that we keep all the wood, as we'll use all of it for bonfires over the next year or two). The whole process took right at 2 hours (which is what he originally estimated), and I felt like it went really well. The whole crew was polite (and funny), and I'm definitely recommending him to neighbors that have trees damaged by the storm. I'll likely be bringing him back later on to take a couple more trees down that aren't a problem now, but will be at some point in the future. Definitely highly recommend. He responds quick, he was fair in pricing (maybe he's not the cheapest - although he was the least expensive of the two quotes I did get - but in some instances you really do get what you pay for) I had a couple people call me and tell me that they would quote cheaper, but they never showed up to do so. And the one guy that did show up (3 hours late) quoted almost double - see my other review on that. Thanks John! Really appreciate your work and your crew today!

Because we'd a pair of pileated woodpeckers make a large hole/nest in a nearby tree the previous year, our first thought was that they were at it again. The canopy on the top of the pine was green and very full but with further inspection, we discovered the tree had pine beetle damage so we knew that the tree had dead wood. We contacted multiple tree companies to come out, give us their recommendation, and provide an estimate. Some of the companies did not respond to our request while others did not respond in a timely manner. LTRC was very responsive and provided us a bid via email that was reasonable given the work that needed to be done (as well as identifying 2 other smaller trees that needed attention). We had 3 bids and decided to use LTRC as they were highly recommended by a neighbor and our subdivision had recently used them for trimming up trees. Communication with Gary McGarry (the owner) and Joy Escobedo (leader of crew and very skilled tree guy) was excellent! We were able to secure a tree removal permit from the City of Milton in a timely manner. We signed the contact and waited to get on their schedule. In the meantime, several storms with high winds came threw and the tree started breaking and leaning badly. We were concerned about safety as we often have kids come into our backyard to play in the nearby creek and treehouse. The situation became dangerous and LTRC made our project a priority and worked quickly to schedule a time that worked for all of us. The crew showed up on time and were very, very professional! They put plywood down to protect our wet lawn as they needed to bring equipment into our yard. They worked very hard to drop the tree in sections prior to the big drop and were able to drop the large section of tree perfectly so that it did not damage our property or other trees. The guys did an excellent job cleaning up and smoothing out the natural area by the tree as well as our driveway where their chipping equipment was used. LTRC was great to work with from beginning to end and we really appreciated the excellent communication prior to and the day of the work. LTRC will be the first company we call in the future!
