Stopped into Atlanta Bread recently while in the area and I'm glad that I did. I'd actually only tried them once before while at an airport and I was craving soup, so I figured, "why not?" [[HIGHLIGHT]]This spot really reminds me of their competitor (that starts with a P and a B), visually, even upon entry.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I went in, there were a number of guests quietly sitting and enjoying their meals, a few were working and some were having meetings. It seems like a great place to enjoy some remote work or just a calm lunch out with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I headed up to the counter with only two diners in front of me so I took the time to drool over the baked goods on display. The variety was incredible!! After my drool session, I peeped the menu. There were a number of options including a Pick 2 menu, something I always love at these soup/salad/sandwich spots. The cashier was incredibly friendly and even took the time to give me his soup suggestions after I asked. I opted for: a full sized hot chicken sandwich for my bf, and for myself, a broccoli & cheese soup, butternut squash soup, half a pastrami panini and a sugar Queenie. (Pls don't judge me for being greedy!) My order was ready in about 15min less with no complaints from me. It was packaged up nicely for my drive home and super fresh & hot. My bf had no complaints about his sandwich and it was gone in minutes. My broccoli & cheese soup was delicious, wish there was more broccoli but I say that every time I have some no matter where it's from. I didn't love the butternut squash but it was a backup that I just ordered for kicks. It was too sweet for me, I wish it was savory with some garlic and goat cheese! The pastrami sandwich was good, I think it would have been even better if I ate it when it was fresh, but it was packed with pastrami. I was so bummed when I realized that I wasn't given a pickle (I loveeee pickles), but my sweetheart gave me his. The real star of the show? The sugar queenie!!! Omg it was SO good. I actually ate it two days later (I put it in a ziploc bag) and it was still so fresh and so soft. I put it in the microwave for about 15 seconds and it tasted so delicious. I was upset that I hadn't ordered more than one. Truly a tasty experience!

This ABC sits directly on South Cobb Drive and sits in the shopping center that is anchored by Publix. Parking is never an issue as the lot that services this location and the two other businesses in the same small strip has enough spots for all. I have come through this location for bulk orders for the office and for individual lunch/dinner orders. The bulk orders were always done well, prepared when I arrived and always correct. The staff has always helped me carry my items out and made sure I knew the distinctions in varieties of my order, specifically the coffee blends! My personal orders are normally sandwiches and chips. My go to is usually the steak sandwich with their plain chips. I always enjoy the variety of bread for this sandwich, the French baguette. It holds up so well to the juices of the meat and carries the meat and cheese so well! Service wise I have had good and "meh" experiences. I will say that on my morning visits, I always get stellar service. It's weirdly my afternoon/evening visits where the counter service is less than stellar. Maybe folks are just tired by that point? Whatever it is, they seem less enthused about assisting customers as the day progresses. It has never been outright terrible, but it is a noticeable difference and can sometimes be a little unpleasant. Overall, ABC has been a staple in many cities I have lived. Their food is consistent and tasty. Prices are a little off for the serving size of their current menu, so I don't frequent them as much as I used to...but when in the mood and in the area ABC is a solid option!

Atlanta Bread Company (ABC) is a Nice break from the run of the mill fast food chains. The food is fresh and tasty. Two can dine for roughly $40, which includes a cup of soup, 1/2 sandwich, small fountain drink, bread, and a cookie. The bread as a side is a little odd and less healthy than the traditional apple provided at Panera. The restrooms are clean and the staff is friendly.

Working at the airport for years, I used to love eating at ABC. So when I moved to Smyrna a few years ago, I was excited to see that there was an ABC just minutes away! I love the Greek Salad which I always add grilled chicken. Its tasty and always filling. The only down side about my experience here was the French Onion Soup. It was just very salty and the flavor was just meh. I used to love the soup at the airport. Not sure why the flavors were so different and far off, you'd think it would taste the same. Overall, the cashier was friendly, (he just needs a smile on his face), and my salad was good.

The Staff that waited on me was awesome. The Cheese danish was amazing!! The Coffee was great (and I don't put sugar in my coffee so I can really taste the coffee). The bacon egg and cheese Breakfast sandwich- not so much. I put some jelly on it and rolled with it. Its hilarious because when I picked up my plate, an employee directed me to the jelly and I grabbed it but was thinking- why?? I know I am not going to put jelly on my danish nor my egg sandwich. I get it now. It made the sandwich. Good looking out. I will def come back for the danish and drinks and great customer service. The location is great. Parking is easy. Dining room is decent. I will be back to have coffee and danish for sure. Meeting rooms at 10 bucks an hour are a great amenity for this location.

Came here for a quick soup run for my mom, who just had dental surgery and couldn't eat anything but soup. I got a sample of their Butternut Squash soup and Chicken and Wild rice. And them both was amazing. So! I decided to get them both. The butternut squash was smooth and creamy with a ever so lightly buttery sweet taste. The Chicken and wild rice was thick and hardy. The service was pretty slow, considering it was just us along with one person already seated with his food. And a gentleman came after we had ordered. The few employees there seemed like they was trying to find things to do to pass time by. Like sweeping the floor several times and walking back and forth. But I was okay I wasn't in a rush. Once I got home I wished I had gotten me a bowl of that Butternut squash. It was delicious.

One of my favorite weekend traditions is exploring a new coffee shop every Sunday somewhere around the city, and this week I decided to give Rev Coffee a try. While I didn't order any food, several menu items looked tempting and worth trying on a future visit. I ordered the Iced Banana Pudding Latte, and it was delicious. What stood out even more was the customer service. The staff had genuinely positive energy, and the cashier was especially helpful in sharing his thoughts on the different drinks I was considering before making my choice. As someone who enjoys writing and working from coffee shops, my only suggestion would be a larger bar-style workspace for laptops and those of us who like to stand, pace, and type while working. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means. They also don't offer a military discount, but that's fairly common and never something I expect when visiting a coffee shop. Overall, I had a great experience. The atmosphere was inviting, the coffee was enjoyable, and the staff made a strong impression. I would definitely recommend Rev Coffee, and it has earned a spot in my regular rotation of coffee shop adventures.

It tastes freshly roasted and just better quality. That being said, they clearly didn't take my recommendation at all. Hubs ran in as I was feeling off. Been that way since radiation. Oh well. Anyway, he ordered Mr. Peanut and crème brûlée (crème brûlée is my favorite dessert to the extent he made me some just last week, from scratch! I have the best husband!). If you are going to call it crème brûlée at least make it sweet like the dessert is. This always tastes like coffee and milk. Mr Peanut has an after thought of peanut. It was sweeter than the CB. lol which doesn't make much sense to me, but whatever. It was decent but again, we want to taste the flavors. Wish they would make their own syrups. I drive out of my way for good coffee shops that make their own syrups. I am in that area often so maybe next time I order differently since I have established I do like their coffee, just not the drink recipe. For that, I'm not docking them. Ambiance, same as before, busy/crowded.

I visited on a weekday afternoon and even before 10am, there were other guests buzzing around this little coffee shop. Bolivar is located within a grocery shopping plaza, meaning they have tons of parking which is always great in ATL. The coffee shop itself is so beautiful! The decor, plants and art all channel Colombia, all by way of Atlanta. There were a few tables inside and outside, allowing space for those there to work, chat and lounge if desired. It was really easy for me to find a comfy seat next to an outlet to settle at for a few hours. I started with a hot latte and a Pastel conquistador and was so pleased by both. I didn't even realize that I had sped through my first cup of coffee before I was onto the next. Service: No complaints about the service. Despite the busyness, I didn't stand in line for anymore than 5 - 7 minutes and probably waited less than 10 minutes for my order. Pricing: Pricing was very reasonable, with drink pricing ranging from about $4 - $8. From what I could see for food options, prices were all under $15. Food/Drinks: Regrettably, I skipped the food this time and only tried an iced matcha. They had a summer version called the Tropi Coco, which combined toasted coconut, coconut milk, and coffee or matcha. However, I don't think the Matcha version included toasted coconut, at least not the one I tried. Unfortunately, the drink didn't quite hit the mark for me. I mostly tasted coconut milk, with some Matcha flavor, but the flavors didn't blend well. Perhaps it was a matter of the ratio. My sister ordered the same drink and experienced the same issue, although hers seemed to have even less Matcha than mine. While I'm not sure I'd get the Matcha again, I'm still open to trying some other menu items. The empanadas and tasty looking Colombian treats were calling my name, so I'd like to go back and give them a try! I'd imagine if you're a coffee lover you'd want to give their Colombian coffee a try though!
