Sunday night, the end of a stay with friends in the Clear Lake section of Houston, I proposed dinner out. I selected this Greek restaurant based on positive reviews. It's a cozy place among the many strip malls in this section of town. The early dinner rush had not materialized, so we had the place to ourselves. The waitress was quick to start our drink selections and held back while we perused the menu. I selected the lamb plate, while my guests chose chicken. The plates were full. The pita was fresh, the tzatziki was hearty, the rice pilaf was especially good, and the generous portion of lamb was delicious. They apparently also do a brunch setup too. We had a very pleasant meal. The check format with its many tip recommendations was overlong but that was the only thing I could fault about this very nice place with its wonderful food. read more

Really fresh well prepared food. We will definitely be back! The salmon was excellent and the lamb chops were perfectly medium rare and very delicate. read more

This place is an easy 5 star. Food was great, and they get fresh fish daily. Food had great pricing as well. I wish I lived closer to this place! read more

Great Greek food. Good wine. We will be back to try other dishes and like the half price wine on Tuesday and Wednesday. read more

The food is very good and the ambience is great. We've been several times and gotten good service even when they were very busy. My only complaint is that they serve water and soft drinks in very small glasses and I had to work to get attention to ask for a refill. This has happened every time we've been there. They have this terrific sausage called loukaniko that is flavored with orange. It comes wrapped in a pita or as a breakfast meat when they are serving brunch. I almost always get the loukaniko. read more

This is a great local place serving really delicious food. The ambiance and service was wonderful. I will definitely be back to try more on their menu. read more

The owner is really nice to us. I had a table of 20 ppl. The restaurant has a calm vibe to it.

Incredible food! I tried the calamari, gyro plate, and frappe. The parmesan truffle fries were amazing dipped in the aioli, and everything I tried was perfect. The staff was incredibly kind and gave great recommendations, and the decor was tastefully selected to give a welcoming ambiance. Would absolutely come back! read more

Great food and customer service! The food is more than the "regular " Greek experience, clean tasting food and bright atmosphere!

Our waitress was obviously having a really bad day, so I don't want to give a negative review based on one experience, but the owner made sure things were right and went out of her way to be helpful and attentive. Food was great, plus they got the good ice! read more

The ingredients are so fresh! The food is fabulous. It feels like Sunday night dinner with the family. You can tell love goes into their dishes! Bravo! read more

Great food and service. Our waitress was pleasant and gave us great tips on the space center down the road.

I wrote a post awhile back in which I indicated that the gyro meat although very tasty was dry. The restaurant owner commented and thanked me for the post. Today I ordered the gyro plate again and the gyro meat was moist and flavorful. I really appreciate when restaurant owners comment and then make changes. Athena's Corner is the bomb and for awesome authentic greek food it's the only place you need to go. The service and the ambiance superb. Great job. read more

The food was fantastic!! Definitely my new favorite for Greek cuisine. The atmosphere is open and friendly and the service is top notch.

This place is great!!! We were visiting from out of town and ate here two days in a row because it was so good!! Loved everything we had!

Atmosphere was good. However, food was mediocre. We got a couple cocktails, but they were not good. The Old Fashioned was swimming in Maraschino cherry juice and used refrigerated ice. Way too sweet....they were grossly understaffed. The waiter was serving everyone and he also was making the cocktails (doesn't know how). I wouldn't recommend. read more

Great food! They need to work out a few kinks in the kitchen but with the trip. -Falafel was actually green in the middle and great taste -Gyro meat is tender and tasty -Pork kebab was tender and tasty as well Our plates came with greek side salad and roasted potatoes. The staff are attentive and professional. We will be back for sure. The dinning area is modern but inviting. read more

Such a great addition to Seabrook. We are regular customers and love their calamari and lamb chops-legendary! We tend to go during half price wine nights. Great wine selection. Lovely owners. read more

Delicious food, very flavorful and tender meat. I had chicken kabob and husband had another chicken dish. Also had some yummy hummus and pita to start. Fries were crispy and full of flavor. This place is a gem, with clean, attentive and friendly service. read more

Difinatively Greek. Owners and staff very nice. All the food we had was very well prepared. For example, even the Greek salad I tried was the best I've ever had with the freshest mix of vegetables and just the right mix of oil and seasoning. Appreciate their attention to those details. read more

Outstanding food! This is the best Greek cuisine I've had since leaving California. Great service and dog friendly patio. Highly recommended. read more

This is a fun and clean restaurant. Service was good! We really enjoyed the gyros; the pastichio was not our favorite.

The food is great. You can't get any more authentic Greek food than Athens corner. Great wine list and the staff is number 1. I make it a habit of going there at least 1 time a week and the food is always on point. read more

I got the lamb, and it was SO GOOD! Would definitely come back to try something else.

The food was excellent. Fresh and seasoned well. The service was attentive and personable, overall wonderful experience.

If you are a fan of flavorful food, Athena's is for you! Our family went for both lunch and dinner over the course of a week, and we were not disappointed! The gyros are excellent and the vegetable soup had great flavors. Their pita bread is soft and fluffy and goes great with the hummus (which has a great balance of flavors). Leave room for baklava! Not too sweet, but it really hits the spot. We will be trying their brunch soon, too. read more

Amazing Greek food. If we lived near by we would be there often. The food was delicious and service perfect and clean so very clean. And nice place read more

We have found a new brunch sport where everything was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend the dip trio.

The food was okay. The dolmades tasted fine, but I've had way better. Not much flavor. The potatoes were good but not as flavorful as I'm used to. There are other restaurants that have better lemon potatoes. Gyros were fine but flavorless. I will not be back since I've had better. read more

The food is absolutely amazing. The best Greek food I have ever eaten. Everything tastes fresh and homemade.

This was hands down the best Greek food in the Houston area. We are moving nearby and I cannot wait to go back.

Good food and good service. We wanted something different that afternoon and we found it.
