I found Framers Workshop online ...They not only do professional framing they also provide the materials , workspace and professional instructors to guide you through the process of framing your own work !!!!! What a great idea ...They have many amazing frames that you can pick from on site , as well as matting in all colors that can be cut to size while you wait....The team members manning the counters were very helpful in the process .. in no time at all I had my supplies and with help from staff ( a lot of help ) in the workshop I was out in record time with a beautiful framed piece of memorabilia for my son's 40 th surprise birthday party....I was under a lot of pressure as this was a special gift there was no room for error But I can't wait to go back to try this again when I'm more relaxed !!!! So I brought it here and spoke with jill (who was a big help). I wanted it framed a certain way because I added a rookie card and ticket stub. And have the Patriots emblems in the top corners of the frame. Michael (the owner) told me it would take longer because this wasn't a standard frame job. My wife had been a customer last year, and the service was okay. It was the co-owner of the store…read morethat had been incredibly rude to her that caused us to take our business elsewhere. We believe in supporting small, locally owned businesses and it's truly sad that I have to warn others to avoid this business at all cost. Recently, I had to drop off something for a friend's store that is adjacent to this store. The item was heavy and I was asked to do so behind the shop. I parked in a spot that was designated for Frame Gallery Customers. Note it says for customers. I asked my friend to wait in the car with the keys in case he needed to use it. I was only away for 2 minutes when the co-owner (Kohar Allen) of the store blocked my car in on purpose. I get it, she likely has had to deal with people parking there and not coming to her store. But she had no idea if I was a customer or not so her behavior was insane. My friend tried to explain to her the situation and that we leaving right away. She refuses to move her car. I also went into the store and tried to explain and reminded her we had been a customer. She said "I don't care. This is your problem now so deal with it." I actually had to call the police. She lied and said I had threatened her. Luckily my friend was there to witness the entire thing. The police told me after that they have had to deal with her and that she was a difficult, strange person. They made her move the car and informed her that her actions were illegal. They asked if I wanted to press charges but I refrained. I just wanted to leave. I feel so sorry for this sad, hateful woman. She repeated often that she didn't care. She had no initial concern of whether I was a customer or not, which the officer pointed out to her. She is clearly a bitter person, who has no concern for customers or the community. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. We have loved the Framers Workshop in Brookline Village.

What a fantastic experience I had with this shop and the owner, Tom. I brought in a poster from a…read moreFrench museum that featured the paintngs of my great- grandfather with the hope it could be enhanced in size, framed, etc. Tom guided me through the various options and within 15 minutes we came up with the right combination. I ordered four for family members as gifts for my children and a nephew. Yesterday I got a call from Tom saying the finished product was in and ready for pickup, which I did today. Tom expertly shrink-wrapped together the four pictures for easy transport and brought them to my vehicle. I left the shrink-wrap on since it's a gift, but you can get a sense of the quality of the frame and reproduction. Tom is the epitome of a small shop owner who cares about his workmanship and his customer service. And a great story teller.
