Lisa was incredibly professional, generous with her time, is a font of creative problem-solving and resourcefulness, has a great facility with technology, and executes impeccably on her great vision of providing personalized, people-centered, top-notch care-giving and customer service. She and her team of caring and bright individuals worked with my mom, who is ill/in hospice, and has difficulty communicating and not only did I feel 100% comfortable with having them work with her, they exceeded my expectations in their patience, caring, and ability to work with mom. I couldn't be more excited that NYC Granny Nanny is on the caregiving scene and highly recommend their services!

She is smart, very engaged and truly cares about the entire family. She spends a lot of time getting to know the client and his/her family and really understands the complicated dynamics involved in caring for a loved one. I've dealt with numerous agencies and had almost given up until I met Ann. No bureaucracy whatsoever. You deal directly with Ann and she remains available to you throughout the process. She does extensive background checks on her team and you can rest assured that the care given will be top notch. Evergreen Choice is definitely the way to go!

I called this place to schedule someone to take care of my elderly grandmother and the person who…read moreanswered the phone was so incredibly unfriendly and rude. She wouldn't give me her name, she didnt have any sort of professionalism and left me at a loss on how to initiate the conversation that involves me handing them my hard earned dollars. when i asked her what steps i could take to move forward with evergreen choice after an incredibly unfriendly silence she literally said "if you're looking for a job you can go to our website" talking to that woman was like the textbook example of how not to make a sale. When the owner, Ann, called she was just as unfriendly as the nameless entity that represents her business. Ann told me, quite rudely, after i laid out that i wanted someone to come to my grandmothers home 3 days a week for 4 hours a day, That the time i needed someone to watch my grandmother was not worth it to the caretakers and if i couldnt bump the time up to at least 6 hours a day no one would take the job and it would be a 'revolving door of caretakers'. I understand what she was saying, but she reduced my elderly grandmother, that i care deeply about, to a job and a job that isnt worth it to the people she chose to surround herself with and represent her brand. I cannot figure out how am i supposed to trust Ann enough to have someone she chose watch my grandmother, largely unsupervised, when she cant even get it together enough to sound slightly kind at all over the phone. Speaking to her offended me, made me feel like i was imposing on her, and also like my grandmother was too burdensome for Ms. Ann without a larger payout. Not feelings that made my heart smile about handing thousands of dollars to her. If Evergreen choice's over the phone service is so unfriendly and brusque i cant imagine their caretakers are much kinder. Not the sort of people i would want looking after my freaking grandmother. Whatever entity on behalf of evergreen choice answered their phone needs to be retrained and Ann needs to take a hard look at her branding strategy. The way to get people to pay you is NOT to tell them that the person they care about isnt worth it or lucrative enough for you. Meanie.

They treated my mom with respect, love, and good humor. The place is clean, has lovely furnishings and decorations (which my mom always liked!), and a good variety of different places for seniors to visit, sit, and walk. There were always fun events planned for the seniors, including parties, concerts, crafts, movies, Bingo, lectures, and more. I loved receiving a daily email from the facility with information about the menu and events so I could remind mom about fun things to do. As the years progressed, mom had increasingly challenging health issues, but the folks at Brandywine scaled up their support and took such good care of her. I was able to go to work every day knowing that she was in good hands. And I also feel that Brandywine didn't just care for Mom, but they were also so supportive of our family at each stage of my Mom's decline - they were kind, caring, knowledgeable, and served as thoughtful partners in my caregiving. I am especially appreciative of Asif in the Wellness Center, Janet in Customer Care, Lisa (one of the caregivers), Jeremy at the front desk (who put up with my constant phone calls!), Toni in the business office, and everyone else whose names I missed. Each time I drive past Brandywine I miss mom, but I am thankful that she was able to spend her final years of life in the care of such wonderful people. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a caring community for their loved one.
