I went to this place to have spider veins treated. The waiting room area was dingy and standing…read moreroom only. People were sleeping in chairs. The person who did the ultrasound was nice but I was there such a long time someone else was going home and apparently her job was to take out the trash because she kept coming in the room and doing so while I was having the procedure which was odd. I was told I have multiple "bad" veins in each leg and the doctor even told me he could visually see additional ones that didn't show on the ultrasound (that they needed to get an insurance authorization for). What I thought was just cosmetic suddenly turned into a medical problem! They gave me a "treatment plan" and after waiting an entire month for my first treatment appointment as they said it was the first available, again the waiting area was standing room only but I managed to get a seat. At one point I had to use the restroom but didn't want to get up as I knew I would lose my seat! After 1.5 hours waiting I got up and the bathroom was disgusting. No toilet paper and there were paper towel rolls and paper hand towels thrown all over the place and no hooks on the door to hang belongings. Asked the receptionist if she had an idea of how much longer and she said there were 5 people still ahead of me (and the whole time I was there I only saw a few go in). I left. The whole environment made me feel disrespected as a person and I was very hesitant to return after the initial appointment but wanted to give it a chance. The doctor seemed nice and maybe doing the best he can, but not nice enough to overlook ridiculous wait times and unsanitary conditions. Follow up: I went to NYU Langone as I was not going back to this vein clinic. The first step again was an ultrasound, but this time I was told there is absolutely nothing wrong with ANY of the veins in my legs! Add fraud to my complaints above and stay away!!!!

The caregiver constantly manipulates the family against each other in order to get his way. Every time I try to replace him the agency interferes and ignores my requests even though I am the one hired them and I am the one who pays the caregiver who I dislike immensely. I should not have to be a situation where I am forced to keep a caregiver that I dislike. They don't return my phone calls and they ignore my requests to get a different caregiver. Instead of working with me to replace this caregiver who has created an extremely toxic environment, the agency will go behind my back and reach out to another family member who has very little to do with the caregiving, is easily manipulated and it results in arguments about replacing the caregiver. I don't want a caregiver who is only in it for the money and who does not have patients wellbeing in mind. I constantly have to step in and make sure the patient is being cared for. I should be allowed to replace a caregiver that I have no trust in. The caregiver should not be in charge and the agency should not be in charge. Thay have made a difficult situation even more difficult by pitting family members against each other. I dislike them immensely. Be careful
